Super quick cassette/audio you can listen to by John Bytheway! (you can search it on YouTube and it's free plus only an hour long!)
I love so much about this, but I feel I must make this review brief (go listen to it because one review cannot possibly do this justice). Here are some of my notes:
– Know who you are – Be a builder, not a wrecker – Seek the Kingdom of God before anything else – Gratitude for trials because it gives you the heart to care for those going through what you did – If you lack courage or friends, ask of God to receive those things – God watches over us and loves us but it is usually through other people that He meets our needs *Be that other person for someone else* – Don't underestimate the power of *one* prayer – Jesus isn't going to break down the door. He will wait patiently for us to *choose* to let Him in – Let Him unload your pack – Pray in a better way than you did the last time you prayed
Seriously, there's so much more I could say, you just need to listen to it, it's a really good talk/devotional ❤️❤️
I have listened to this talk over and over and over again. This is funny and inspirational talk on building our self-esteem. While it is addressed to teens, I feel that it applies to all ages. I highly recommend this talk.
I actually listened to this on cd with my kids. It was a very entertaining, yet serious talk about self esteem and being good to ourselves. Very enjoyable and light.
Loved this one too, so did my nine year old...which surprised me...he stated..."WoW! This guys really good....it makes me want to be a better person." It doesn't get much better than that.
