A MESSAGE FROM THE AUTHOR:
I've always loved science fiction, fantasy, and horror, but it wasn't until I combined them with pulp thrillers and noir that I found my voice as an author. I want to leave my readers breathless, want them to feel the desperate longing, the hope and fear my heroes experience as they struggle not just to survive, but to become something more.

Ahh, the pressures of being the good girl, the perfect example of young adultness, of doing what is expected of her and only what is expected of her, yep, that was Felicia! Inside her wild child was screaming to be let out, to have fun, do something to shock the world or even herself! Enter bad boy Mark, whose charm isn’t the only thing that will change Felicia’s life!

Jackson Dean Chase’s The Werewolf Wants Me is the ultimate in young adult love stories gone bad! The tensions builds throughout this short tale as secrets are revealed and dark fantasy becomes dark reality for one girl who should have watched what she wished for. In case you are thinking, just another YA werewolf tale, toss that thought out the window, Mr. Chase divulges the secret of WHY werewolves eat humans. A wonderfact you can use at any get together when conversation lags. Another great tale for a dark and dreary night, or maybe one with a full moon!

The Werewolf Wants Me, by Jackson Dean Chase, is a traditional werewolf story in the sense that people turn into werewolves, they search for their mates, and have strong family (or pack) values.

This book is different from Chase’s other books for several reasons. One of those reasons is because instead of having a female main character who is more of an outcast, in this book, the main characters are pretty, preppy type girls. I honestly don’t think it would have made a difference to me if she was preppy or angst ridden, but I could see how it would be more of a stretch for a preppy girl to be out playing in the woods.

In all honesty, this isn’t my favorite of Chase’s books. I felt like just as the story got intense, it was over. I would like to have had a little more story, maybe a few more scenes or at least pages. I did like his explanation of the consumption of human flesh by the werewolves and the purpose it serves. That was a different idea than I have heard before and pretty cool.

Length aside, The Werewolf Wants Me carries the same intensity and style that Jackson Dean Chase’s other books do. His books grab you and suck you in before you realize what hit you. His books are intense and emotionally driven while being short and to the point at the same time.

I recommend all of the books by this author. I know I only gave him 3 stars for this book, but don’t let that keep you from checking it out yourself. 3 stars for me means that I enjoyed the book and can see how other people might enjoy it, but I didn’t love it. So pick it up and take that chance. You might just find a new favorite author!

This is the ultimate in a horror story. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. You can't read it fast enough so you can see what happens. And when it does you are definitely not prepared. The ending is a stunner. I loved it. If you like this genre this will be right up your alley. Try it. I'm sure you will love it.

I really liked this short story, although it was TOO short for me! I wanted the story to continue on and on, and I felt a little bummed out that it was so short. But, that doesn't take away from a good storyline and writing!

Lovely cover, fun read !! From the start, readers are in on who the werewolf is, but that's cool. Plays to the wild animal in all of us.

Not Kindle Unlimited, received it via one of those here are some free books hope you take the time to review it. Actually aware of this writer, read Worms Ate Your Face {poetry collection} and quite a few of his other works, and he never has been 'right' but he;s been entertaining and sometimes amusing and sometimes gross, but at least never boring. At one time had quite a few on ku but don't think any or many now.Just check out his writer page on amazon already. Some of the others got through freebies too or else ku. Dates may be wrong on some of the reviews, missed some.

3.5 Star Full review on Fangfreakintasticreviews.com

The Werewolf wants me is a good book with a somewhat interesting concept. Again even though this is considered horror and there is a small amount of gore, it is not that scary and honestly the end is somewhat improbable while at the same time expected. I was overall kind of let down that the story progressed the way it did. I was hoping for some form of twist or a little suspense to go along with the horror theme. When it started to get really good it was over, and the answer was there, there wasn't the angst, or the inner turmoil that you would have suspected to be present. Overall it wasn't bad, and it was a very fast read. Not my favorite Jackson book.

A new relationship has Felicia feeling like she’s never felt before, even if she doesn't understand her attraction to Mark. She is determined not to give up the thrill of her new found feelings.

When Felicia and Mark decide to go to Camp Tomahawk for a picnic, and take Felicia’s friend Jenna and her date Pete nothing goes as planned.

The twists and turns that await—leave one to make a choice that will seal their fate forever in an animalistic union, which could survive beyond any expectations.

The werewolf wants what the werewolf wants, and isn't afraid to go after the desires of the heart.
