OMG I love this AU!! Milo's horde?! UGH MY HEART!!! I ate this one up and it still lives rent free in my brain! I really want a re-read of this one, get back into this firey world of dragon shifters. What a way to kick off this series!!

I’ll be the first to admit that books filled with a lot of humor and funny moments and characters aren’t really my thing so this wasn’t for me per se, but it was still really enjoyable and I especially enjoyed the second half when a bit more plot kicked in, as the beginning was a bit slow. While it may not be my cup of tea, the writing was clever and Milo and his gang of elderly friends certainly made for some humorous moments. I liked the dynamic between Milo and Rowan (especially the titty love, lol), and thought their oppositeness worked really well. I can’t really mention the things I really enjoyed without spoiling the book, but if you like lighthearted shifter fun and chaotic characters, look no further.

Listen, I love fanfiction and A.M. Rose books have been my newest reading obsession this year, so this book was pretty much a match made in heaven for me and I was just so hyped to read it. You know when you can feel it in your bones that a book will be a good match for your reading taste and you’re just so eager to read it? That was me with this book!
I just loved the set up of this book where they were instant rivals and hated each other at first sight but also gravitated towards each orther and how they kept running into each other at every turn and could not help but interact with each other every time and then slowly but surely started finding more ways to keep running into each other because they could never get enough. The interactions between Rowan and Milo in this book were just so fun and lovely to read. I found myself laughing out loud so many times as I was reading this one.
This was just such a good reading experience, I had a wonderful time.

The writing is downright delicious!! Hilarious, cheeky, endearing sweet swoony spicy perfection of a story.
I LOVE MILO AND ROWAN! I was swooning and grinning from ear to ear reading their story - @amrose have a cheeky sense of humour that permeates the whole book, no drawn out angst but still allllll the emotion, brilliantly done found family and community. New lore interspersing the old tenets of what we expect from a Dragon shifter romance - all the ott love and mating but light though not fluffy , strong characters and we are back to Milo and Rowan, god I really do love them - Snugglescales and the Twig 😂😂😂
I cannot emphasise enough how much you NEED this book. If you have even a smidge of love for fantasy do not miss this. The dragons are dragoning and dragonising and the hoards are truly unique and the love is absolutely epic and the clueless lovers figure that out with some gentle (not always 🤣) Proding
I will now be digging through the backlist for more to read
Oh and also I hope we see Ruben’s story? Or is it out? I’ll figure it out in my scouring of the backlist 😇

I’m starting to feel like I say this about most of my reads, but as a true AM fan, I absolutely devoured this one!
I loved Milo and Rowan, and in true AM fashion, the writing is hilarious, packed with giggle-inducing moments, yet surprisingly emotional at times- the perfect balance for me. My grumpy Rowan is secretly SUCH a softie, while my absolutely unhinged Milo kept me entertained from start to finish. I have to admit, I fell in love with both of these characters from the very first chapter! <3
PS: Please read the authors’ notes! They added an extra layer of fun to the story and gave me exactly the fanfic energy I didn’t know I was missing. Highly, highly recommend this one! ✨

Dragon AU unapologetically loves fanfiction, and I'm here for it.
A dragon CEO whose construction project is stopped by a man chained to a tree. A meet-cute that involves biting. A group of elderly residents who immediately decide manipulation is a perfectly reasonable strategy. This book knows exactly what it is and commits to the bit.
The humour is chaotic, the characters are somehow all disasters in completely different ways, and the contrast between Rowan's polished corporate dragon life and Milo's caffeine-fuelled existence creates some genuinely funny moments.
More than anything, though, it feels like a celebration of the kind of creativity that makes fandom spaces so much fun. This isn't a book that quietly borrows from fanfic culture and hopes nobody notices. It embraces it completely. It takes a ridiculous premise, throws in dragons, found family, and two people who seem determined to make each other's lives harder, and somehow turns it into something unexpectedly heartfelt.
Which, to be fair, is exactly what this series sets out to do. The result is funny, self-aware, a little unhinged, and a genuinely entertaining tribute to the joy of asking, "Okay, but what if...?"

This short story is from the Cannon Sucks series which follows Rowan and Milo as they pursue their HEA in every universe.
Rowan is a grumpy dragon shifter in the real estate business and Milo is just trying to protect his home which houses his elderly, crazy found family that he will protect at all costs including, but not limited to tying himself to a tree to prevent them tearing down the building.
These two are instantly drawn to each other in way neither of them understand nor like. Their banter is effortlessly hilarious. It will have you dying, laughing and begging for more.

This one was really fun. I liked the story and the humor and the little author notes. Also, funny to find on my third book in the series that there is, in fact, a Canon story, also written by A.M. Rose, but I have no idea where to find it. If you know, please let me know. This wouldn't be my first foray on a fanfic situation where I never bothered to get into the canon, but I'm curious at this point

I liked this one. It was fun, quick and over the top. Then I read the Canon and that changed things slightly on thoughts of reading the rest. The dragons were fun, although not so sure about the shifted sex. It was one of those blind smack their heads together ones.

This is an MM romance with spice and dragon shifters. Make sure you know what all of that means before reading.
This is book one in the Because Canon Sucks series. It’s written in the style of Fan Faiction because the first-first story that kicked off this series is called Canon by A.M.Rose. It is not necessary to have read that novella before starting the series. You just need to know it ends with an open-ended sort of ending. Like, we have no idea what happens to Rowen or Milo, the MMC’s of the story.
Enter the Because Canon Sucks series which is the Fan Fiction of these two characters. It’s really fun and reads like fan fiction with author notes. Do not skip those because they’re hilarious and have wonderful extra details
In Dragon AU they are Dragon Shifters and of course one of them is a human dragon shifter and the other is a dragon who can make themselves look humanish. Take a wild guess which is which.
This is a character heavy story with lots of wonderful side characters. Rowan’s family for one is wonderful and I wish I could marry into that damn family. It’s setup so well that I could see more stories about this family being written and I really hope there is more to come.
Milo’s old people are a hoot! We need more old people in our literature just btw. He’s also Miloing hard in this story. Like he was a mess at the airport in Canon, but here he’s just perfection of a hot mess.
There is no third act breakup more of a third act fated mates sort of situation. It’s really cute. You’ll love it because it leads to sky 🍆
There’s a theme of found family in this story and it’s really sweet because it’s not just for Milo, but Rowan is able to find his person. For Milo it’s so much more because he has his hoard and now a new dragonfly. Milo was abandoned as a baby and has been left wondering why and searching for family
This is a HEA story. It’s cute, funny, playful, and does have some serious moments. Check those TW before reading because though it is a cute and fluffy story there are heavy themes in the story. They’re done really well and help shape the characters.

This book was very chaotic and confusing. At times I felt like there were several different conversations happening at the same time or that I was in the middle of a conversation I didn't know when it started. Also I can't anymore with one of the MCs after seeing the other MC for two seconds, then thinking about them all the time, saying how amazing he was, how he's so attractive etc. Where is the tension, where are they getting to know each other, when are they falling in love with each other. I wanna feel some emotion and actually see them falling in love, not use sex as a way of getting them there.

AM Rose are back to their romcom best and I absolutely adore the whole unhinged ride! Buckle up because this is a dragon romance as you've never seen it before, and it is everything!
We have secret softies in the grumpy Rowan, a ruby dragon who is trying to knock down the building that Milo - the "I just need more coffee" flying by the seat of his pants human (or is he?) - lives in with his collection of old people. It's hate at first bite (or is it?). Milo may be a little feral, ok? And that's why we love him.
But as they get to know each other through being continually running into each other - hmmm suspicious - Milo realises there might be more to Rowan than meets the eye and Rowan realises that... well, Milo is a force of nature and Rowan is just along for the ride so he may as well enjoy himself. There is no escape.
I loved the way their story unfolded, how we got to know both characters and see that they're both misunderstood in their own ways and needed a soft place to land. It was so sweet to see them find that with each other. This is definitely opposites attract but they are perfect together.
As always the humour is on point, and I laughed until I wheezed several times. I desperately need stickers of several quotes! The whole thing is just very fun, low angst and feel good. We also have a brilliant cast of secondary characters who really flesh out every scene and I'd love to see some of them get books too. I loved Milo's old people found family so so much.
The take on dragons was also so interesting and you can expect half shifted and fully shifted forms, scenting, nesting, FSF and lots of popping claws and wings. Also a crime against dessert which I'm still salty about!
This is also one of AM Rose's spiciest books and I nearly rated it 3 peppers. The spice is great particularly the big spice scene at three quarters through the book. Talk about hot!
Overall this is a wonderful urban fantasy romcom and should appeal to anyone who loves shifter romances, low angst storylines, or opposites attract dislike to lovers. A great intro to AM Rose's writing!

As always the humour is on point, and I laughed until I wheezed several times. I desperately need stickers of several quotes! The whole thing is just very fun, low angst and feel good. We also have a brilliant cast of secondary characters who really flesh out every scene and I'd love to see some of them get books too. I loved Milo's old people found family so so much.
The take on dragons was also so interesting and you can expect half shifted and fully shifted forms, scenting, nesting, FSF and lots of popping claws and wings. Also a crime against dessert which I'm still salty about!
This is also one of AM Rose's spiciest books and I nearly rated it 3 peppers. The spice is great particularly the big spice scene at three quarters through the book. Talk about hot!
Overall this is a wonderful urban fantasy romcom and should appeal to anyone who loves shifter romances, low angst storylines, or opposites attract dislike to lovers. A great intro to AM Rose's writing!

I enjoyed this one! Let me start out by saying that I did not read the actual story that all these books stemmed from. I know I know that’s probably defeating the whole point. However I’d heard that Canon was sad and didn’t have an HEA and I refuse to read a book without a happy ending. For those of you like me, I think you can skip it if you want to avoid being sad.
While I can’t speak on the characters matching the personalities in Canon, I can say that Rowan and Milo are both enjoyable. The book had a great start with Milo being absolutely feral about protecting the building. I loved that he managed to stall progress for months. He was able to teach Rowan that not everyone is as well off as he was.
I loved that Milo was a dragon (not a spoiler it’s in the blurb😅). I will say it’s hard to believe the Milo wasn’t aware. If his dragon showed when his emotions are running high I’m surprised scales didn’t appear during arguments, sex, sadness etc. I was happy to suspend my beliefs to enjoy the book though.
Milo is so good and caring. He didn’t have to adopt the elderly folk but he did, taking on three jobs to support everyone. I loved all his elderly friends. It might be basic but I cracked up when Conrad kept mishearing things. I also enjoyed the random commentary of the gentleman with dementia. This is obviously a very sad disease and I feel like the author made it not so dark.
I enjoyed the connections in Rowan’s family. I did feel like the parents were so hard on Rueben which I don’t think is fair but I digress.
Rowan’s hoard was so cute. Milo immediately accepted it and worked hard to be gentle with his babies.
I loved their mating. I loved the Stanley cup. I loved how much they missed each other. I loved the nest🥹. Milo was just beyond precious.
I will say I didn’t really understand the significance of Milo’s species? Like I didn’t understand the concept (tiny spoiler) of him having two separate forms because don’t all dragon shifters? I also didn’t really understand the shifted form? Do they become full huge dragons? Or just scaly humans? Maybe I just missed the explanation? Not sure.

(Before I start this review, I am not sure if anyone else had the same issue as me, but I couldn't start this series before finding out what was the "canon story" at the source of this book series. I expected it might be included at the beginning of the story but it wasn't. It also wasn't linked among A.M. Rose's published works. I was finally able to track it down to Bookfunnel thanks to link on the authors' Instagram and it can be found here.)
Rowan Rangecroft is a fire dragon expected to take over his family’s successful construction company. Then a telephone call from his foreman about a man chained up to a tree on one of their development properties. The man happens to be Milo Tobitt and chaining himself to a tree is one of his last ditch efforts to stop Rowan's company from demolishing a building Milo and his senior friends have been calling home for years.
Milo succeeds in stalling Rowan's project for a few days but then him and Rowan can't stop running into each other all over the city. When Rowan discovers that Milo also happens to be a dragon the information comes as a surprise to both of them. Milo's already chaotic life of juggling multiple jobs to take care of his seniors is thrown of axis and he decides Rowan should teach him how to be a dragon. Except Milo has a hard time bringing out his dragon side and the only way to do it is by having sex with Rowan.
This series was on my radar for a few weeks now. I spent my young adult years reading fanfiction in various fandoms so I was intrigued by the prospect of a published book series emulating the experience, but I didn't know what to expect. But I'm happy to report that Dragon AU was an absolute win for me. It was delightful romp with a quirky cast of lovable characters. Both Rowan and Milo were such fail boats when it came to matters of admitting their feelings to themselves and each other but I loved them even more for it.
I'm really excited to read other books in the series and I hope that at least half of them will be just as good as this one. (If it was up to these two authors they would have my full confidence but multi author series are often a mixed bag.)

This series is based off of a short story that is a bit available for free from the authors site. Basically, a bunch of different authors, have made multiple alternate universe books based off of the characters from A.M. Rose’s short story, ‘Cannon.’
In this hilarious and delightful story, Rowan is a fire dragon, who is also the head of a company, and is hoping to build on a site where there are actually some people still living. Despite the fact that Rowan has already got all of the permissions to build there, there is someone who is absolutely not going to allow him or his company to ruin the building. Enter Milo, a chaotic, bright-haired and passionate man who decides tying himself to a tree to halt construction will finally be what stops his home from being destroyed.
This book has:
-a grumpy quiet but (mostly) more mature fire dragon / a spitfire, titty-loving twink that will do anything to protect the group of old people living in his home
-dragon shifter fun (including 🍆 while flying)

-general hilarious writing
If you’re someone who ever read fanfiction, then this series is going to be very promising for you, I think. Each chapter starts off with a little author’s note, which is charming and fun. The story is interesting and hilarious, and you already kind of know what to expect from the characters from the original short story in terms of their personality, yet it’s so fun to read about what they are like in a different alternate universe.
I find that this author does a really great job when they write books with a more lighthearted and funny tone, and this was no exception. I especially really really loved Milo. He is such a spitfire and so entertaining to read about. His little hoard of old people is also very charming and they had me giggling throughout the story for sure.
I’m definitely keen to read other books in this series, and I think that it’s really cool that you can kind of pick and choose, whichever ones you think appeal to you based on the trope or the author, and all you’ll really need to read is a tiny 24 page. Short story in order to understand the premise of the series and characters

Well this was just as epic as I hoped it would be. Honestly, I really should make A.M. Rose's backlist a priority on my TBR, because there are far too many their books that I haven't read yet. Is it too late to make a new year's resolution? Or maybe one for the second half of the year? Yeah, let's go with that. A.M. Rose has not disappointed me so far and I doubt they ever will. This was all kinds of amazing and I loved it so much.
First of all, this whole series is an ode to fanfiction and honestly, it's brilliant. With the author notes sprinkled throughout at the start and end of a chapter and just the sheer unhinged fanfiction feel, there was nothing about this concept that didn't speak to me. A.M. Rose kicks the series off with their version of an alternate universe for Rowan and Milo (if you haven't read Canon, you should! It's even free and it's short so there's no excuse not to) and it includes dragons! I love dragons. Who doesn't, right?
A.M. Rose's author notes had me laughing every time, and they were definitely a highlight, but the characters really stole the show. The side characters made me hope to get more of them in the future, just because I don't want to say goodbye to them yet and there are a few whose HEA's I really really need, okay? But obviously Rowan and Milo stole my heart the most. Rowan is grumpy and adorable, Milo is caffeinated chaos, but in an endearing way. These two just... GAH. I'm so glad I'll get different itterations of their story in this series because they're just fantastic, okay?
Dragon AU is fantastic, unhinged, hilarious, brilliant, wonderful, hot, and one of my favorite reads of the year so far. Highly recommend this!
Sidenote: definitely rooting for this new Avengers Squad. Move over, old Avengers! The new and improved squad is coming! Just... you know... give them a minute. It takes them a while to get there. But when they do, you'll be amazed!

I lost count of how many times I cracked up at their dialogues and absurd situations, which made the book so incredibly entertaining and good😂 I also have to say that the side characters were a massive bonus because they added that perfect touch of humor and the found family dynamic that I love so much haha.
Milo definitely won me over from the very first moment he appeared, and the way Rowan just went along with him (knowing that going against him would get him nowhere) made everything ten times funnier.
Honestly, I wouldn’t mind at all reading more about this world and all those couples that kept being mentioned throughout the book 🤭✨.

I am not a fanfic reader, so I almost didn't apply to arc read the series, but I am so glad I did! This book was amazing. I couldn't stop laughing at these adorable idiots and they were so achingly sweet that it actually made me cry. Milo is such a ray of light and he's blunt, takes no shit and cares for his people with such a level of devotion that it's inspiring. Rowan is a grumpy, workaholic, people pleaser with a soft heart and an impressive green thumb. I dare anyone to read this story and not fall in love with them, it's impossible! If you are looking for a sweet, fluffy romance between two adorable dragons that start off on the wrong arm, then this book is for you.

Milo is such a ray of light and he's blunt, takes no shit and cares for his people with such a level of devotion that it's inspiring. Rowan is a grumpy, workaholic, people pleaser with a soft heart and an impressive green thumb. I dare anyone to read this story and not fall in love with them, it's impossible! If you are looking for a sweet, fluffy romance between two adorable dragons that start off on the wrong arm, then this book is for you.

If there was ever a book written just for me, this is it. I loved every minute reading this, the character characters had me laughing and kicking my feet at all the crazy things they said and did. Milo is pure chaos with big ADHD energy. Rowan is big, hot and grumpy but secretly a cinnamon roll. And what’s a meet cute without a little biting? These two keep running into each each other and every time they seem to get a little more unhinged. The “Dragonize me bitch!” seen took me all the way out lol. I swear the humor was top-tier the entire book. I wonder my absolute favorite things was the Rowan’s titties fan club that Milo is the CEO and President of. The spice was “chef’s kiss” perfect. Did I mention how much I love how much? Milo loves Rowan’s this beautiful bosom? The answer is ALOT.
The side characters are also very fun and quite hilarious. I love that Milo’s chosen family is a group of geriatric humans. The side characters are also very fun and quite hilarious. I love that Milo’s chosen family is a group of geriatric humans. And we love a supportive family, especially if they’re willing to stab someone with their knitting needles for you. Rowan’s family is a little overbearing, but they mean well. Once these two idiots realize they’re meant to be. Everything comes together and things go much smoother for them. They are such a cute couple and I love that they get a very happy ending. Ok I'm not gonna lie to you...I completely missed Canon when the novella dropped BUT I did grab it from AM Rose's page to read before this and when I got to the end 😱 I COMPLETELY understand why a whole SERIES was born to bring these guys their HEA! So this is book 1 of a multi author collab where each book is about Milo and Rowan BUT they are all different settings/plots! Think of it as a Rowan/Milo Multiverse 🤣 HEA's now included 🖤🖤

When they go head to head again something happens though...Milo's eyes change and now Rowan is convinced Milo is also a dragon! Milo is ready to put their little feud on the back burner if Rowan agrees to help "Dragonize" him and teach him all the dragon things. These two have a connection that is hilarious yet heart warming 🥹 They are really the perfect representation of yin and yang! Milo shakes up Rowan's world but in the best way and also let's him speak his mind without any judgment and Rowan grounds Milo when he needs it without being suffocating 🖤 I need to read the whole series now because I want to read every HEA these two get!

Okay, I don't even know where to begin.
This was absolutely fantastic! It's been a long time since I had this much fun reading a book, so if you're currently in the mood for something delightfully unhinged, you need to pick this one up.
I adored Milo and Rowan. I genuinely couldn't count the number of times I laughed out loud while reading.
Milo completely stole my heart. He's pure chaos in human form, the kind of person who kicks down the door to your life, makes himself comfortable, and somehow becomes your favorite person within minutes.
And let's not forget Rowan, our slightly grumpy plant daddy, who's a lot like a cactus: prickly on the outside but soft as butter underneath.
The contrast between them is impossible to miss, and yet they fit together perfectly.
Their chemistry and dynamic were both incredible and absolutely ridiculous in the best possible way. I mean, what else can you expect from a book where the main characters meet because one of them (ahem, Milo) chains himself to a tree - and not just any tree, but Rowan's tree, which is a very important detail - and then, when Rowan finally shows up, the first thing Milo does is bite his arm.

Do you understand what I'm saying here? Because I was losing my mind.
This book doesn't start with a meet-cute.
It starts with a meet-bite.
And honestly? It sells itself from that moment on.
To sum it up: this book is adorable, ridiculous (in the absolute best way), and ridiculously addictive. Read it at your own risk, because once you're done, you'll immediately want more - more of this world, and definitely more of these characters.

Rowan was the baby of the Rangecroft family and as his three older siblings passed on the mantle of corporate heir, it fell to him. Unfortunately, it was not what he wanted to do with his life, but his father was depending on him. And putting way too much pressure on him to get his pet projects done. Rowan was failing spectacularly at the latest, a new building to showcase dragon hoards where people would pay money to come and admire them. There had been all sorts of delays and now an adorable platinum haired twink had chained himself to a tree out front to stop the demolition of the decrepit building where said twink was housing five homeless seniors he was taking care of. Milo was working three jobs and taking extras on the side to be able to pay those expenses while getting deeper in the hole every week. When Rowan had shown up at the tree to try and get Milo to unchain himself and back down, Milo had grabbed his forearm and bitten down hard. Milo was certainly more than extra so this should not have come as a surprise, although Milo could not have imagined what possessed him to bite. Rowan, for his part, could not imagine why Milo hated dragons so much when he was one. That revelation did not go over well. No one ever told Milo he was a dragon. He didn’t look like one, he didn’t have scales and claws and he had never shifted. But every time Rowan rile him up, Milo’s cerulean blue orbs turned vertically slitted silver, just for a flash. Milo was driving Rowan crazy and yet Rowan found him adorable. Match made in heaven.

This book felt like reading the most unhinged fanfic at 2am and realizing it's somehow become one of your favorite reads. And don't even get me started on the author's notes. Absolutely brilliant. Unhinged sometimes. Made me laugh every single time.
I am genuinely convinced Milo was created in a lab specifically to give Rowan high blood pressure.
This book was chaos from start to finish and I loved every second of it.
The moment Milo BIT Rowan, I knew exactly what kind of ride I was about to be taken on. And somehow it only got more ridiculous from there.
What I loved most was that beneath all the humor, there was so much heart.
Milo spent his entire life taking care of everyone around him. Working multiple jobs. Burning himself out. The way he loved those seniors, fought for them, protected them, and made sure they were okay absolutely wrecked me.
And Rowan. Watching this giant grumpy dragon completely lose control of his carefully organized life because one silver-haired menace tied himself to a tree was just glorious.
The dragon discovery storyline was one of my favorite parts. It was funny as hell, but there was also something really emotional about Milo realizing he never truly knew who he was.
The found family was EVERYTHING.
Ethel is an icon. Nobody can convince me otherwise.
This book wasn't trying to be profound literature.
It was trying to make you laugh, kick your feet, fall in love with the characters, and leave with a stupid smile on your face.
Mission accomplished. 100%

Absolutely freaking loved this! I'm a big fan of AM Rose's already, I think I've read all of their books, and this book perfectly showcases their world building, eclectic character relationships, and comedy value in a romance.
Milo is just a whirlwind of words, movement and crazy ideas, which is how he ends up chained to a tree on the site that Rowan's family want to build. I can't say it's the perfect meet-cute but it is definitely memorable, and both men can't forget each other. It's a fast paced story and so there is no hanging around as we go from enemies to lovers, to Rowan basically being told that he will be helping Milo to learn about himself. I have to say, I think more time is spent with clothes off than on, but they needed it. Their story is so much fun to read but also sweet and hot, a balance that the authors get just right.
Milo's Found family are such rag tag group of elders. I love them all dearly and their individual quirks are just what this story needed. The same could be said for Rowen's family but on a calmer scale!
What a perfect way to kick off the Because Canon Sucks series, it's made me need the others even more. I cannot recommend this enough!

Since I read “The Frog Prince“ by A.M. Rose I knew this duo of authors writes monster romance in a hot way. And this story proved to me they manage no matter if half frog half human (the fairytale retelling) or dragon shifters (this book).
Dragon AU is part of a multi author series in the form of fan fiction based on a canon story (that can be read online for free). And I really enjoyed it: creative freedom, all-in style and notes for the reader. Very authentic.
Milo and Rowan meet under specific circumstances: Milo chains himself to a tree on the property Rowan‘s company wants to build something on - but Milo‘s elderly friends would face eviction as a side effect. To show his feelings he bites Rowan … and the chaotic and cute storyline starts: They keep meeting by chance and their sexual tension grows. (And the jealousy. Had to remind myself that that’s probably because of them being dragons or something …)
What makes me like Milo: he cares for his circle and makes sure their needs are met.
What makes me like Rowan: He’s a big dragon who hoards plants and reads to them.
What makes Milo like Rowan: His tits.
What makes Rowan like Milo: He‘s probably confused about it.
