Dame Daphne’s Magic School Reunion is happening at the Phoenix Inn and Mercury’s pulling her hair out to please the demanding witches. But the super sweet on the surface classmates all have secrets—including Daphne. And when the class VP is killed all the witches are happy to blame the Dame. Even if she’s innocent.
In need of Daphne’s help Mercury reluctantly agrees to help prove her innocence and save the condescending witch from a very non-magical arrest warrent. But with the Heart of the Phoenix’s magical ruby necklace causing her magic to flare into flames, Mercury isn’t at her best. Good thing she has her cat Mr. Yow, a bevy of ghosts, and the dour Mrs. Haversham to help her pull Daphne out of the fire.

So excited to be writing book 6! Mercury is getting into trouble again, and this time so is Dame Daphne. I love writing Daphne into trouble--her attitude needs some definite fixing and when her Magic Acadamy fellow grads are there, they are getting in line to tell her what's what. Especially when someone turns up dead.
If you love twist and turns, magical mystery, and lots of action, then this is the book for you. Of course Mr. Yow is getting his paws involved, and we're finally getting closer to solving the mystery of Mercury's missing sister. So many loose ends to grab a hold of and tie up.
Please add it to your TBR list. I know you're going to want to see how Mercury handles things when the school reunion heats up!
