January dishes out justice in her own way. Her grief splinters beautifully into this story of feminine rage and revenge. Dripping through each moment, each memory and each action. She reaps justice on the most despicable of society and I loved it! I especially loved Septembers chapter. The ending, well let’s just say it’s satisfying in the best way!

OMG...this book is amazing. I loved every twisted kill and the ending.... I need the next book ASAP!!!
If you love twisted female revenge and gruesome kills you simply have to read this! Lolly is such a badass and everything I read of hers blows me away.

Sparrow is an author who just nails female revenge stories, and 'January' is another hit on my list.
January has lost everything. Burdened by the weight of life's cruelty, January takes control, and the hunters are now the ones in the crosshairs. She is the type of woman you either want to be, or never want to cross. Each month, a new monster is eliminated, and January is righting the wrongs of humanity. Is it enough to fill the emptiness of what she used to have?
I really loved the way Sparrow broke down this story. The chapter breaks of the months keep everything feeling propelled and fresh, while giving our FMC the backstory we need to love her even more. It is skilled, electric, twisty, and gruesome as always! 'January' is a must read in the splatterpunk arsenal!

I’m still pretty new to Lolly’s world but I know from the short stories I have read by her that I’ve really loved everything so far so I was super excited for this ARC! Kelvin did warn me it was brutal but If you know me i LOVE brutal especially feminine rage brutal 😌
January suffered injustice, no answers, just loss.
She needs to take back the justice in her own way, the only way she feels fit…
1 year, 12 months, 12 victims
She will show them no mercy, just brutal death’s, all these victims have done the unspeakable…it’s all they deserve!!
Oh Lolly this was brilliant! I love January! She is the saving grace that we need in this cruel world! This was so well written, I must of read it within an hour. The deaths were eye watering horrific but they were all absolutely deserved!!

Omgggg the plot twist at the end!! Really didn’t see that coming! Fucking fabulous as usual from these guys! Thank you so much for the arc!! Honestly all these books I’m getting from you guys is keeping me sane right now!
Loved the whole plot of this book. Kept my attention all the way through!
Enjoyed how gory all the deaths were and loved the different povs throughout!! Loved the idea of chapters being months. Very clever!

This is the first book I've read from this author.
The premise had me from the get go, and it was so good to see each monster getting what they deserved, and in a manner most fitting. Its imagery was great, could really feel both the feminine rage and sense of melancholy blended throughout.
March and April were sublime!
Also, with the ending that way.

Ok first WOW WOW. I loved this story of feminine revenge, from reading how she is breaking to her becoming someone to fear. From the start I was pulled in by Januarys story. I need more!!!! I really hope there will be a book 2. Thank you again Captain Lolly Storm Sparrow for another fantastic story

I was lucky enough to ARC read this book, and be blown away by another great read from Lolly Sparrow!
This one is carnage from start to finish (again! 🖤)
I LOVE January, and I definitely feel her rage right there with her!
A must have for your collection if extreme/splatterpunk is your genre, keep it up girl... I will NEVER run out of space for your books 🖤

This book was brutal; let me preface this review with that. The kills were creative, but damn were they intense. I was here for them all, though. These people who were killed deserved every bit of vengeance that they got. This book follows January as she rids the earth of scum that perpetrated the worst of the worst on children. Each month is a different victim. January loses her husband in a car accident, and loses her daughter in a violent but undisclosed way. This book broke my heart, but had me cheering and clapping as each predator is eliminated! The ending had me reeling because an old friend reappears, and the twist is unexpected! Honestly, we need more Januarys in this world, and I found myself wishing she were a real person. I can't wait to see what Lolly spoils us with next!

If you want a powerful vigilante story then this is the book you been looking for! January lost everything her husband, and her child and to combat her loss she takes it out on the people who deserve it.
