Eira has been the Sovereign of Peace for eons, never questioning her place within the realms.
Until he was taken from her.
Adrian is the only man she ever dared to love—and the one fate was never meant to spare. Bound by The Fates and marked by a bloodline secret capable of destruction or creation, he has become the center of a conflict far older than either of them.
To bring him back, Eira is willing to risk everything… even if it means reducing every realm to ash.
Because saving the man she loves may require war.
And the being who shaped creation does not forgive defiance.

About the author

Lana J. Williams

4 books47 followers
Lana has loved writing since childhood, beginning with poetry before expanding into full-length stories. A lifelong reader, she gravitates toward fantasy, science fiction, and romance—especially when there’s a touch of spice! These genres continue to inspire her storytelling, and she loves crafting immersive fantasy and romance worlds, with much more still to come.

When she isn’t writing, Lana enjoys traveling, tending to her ever-growing collection of plants, and spending time outdoors, where she finds both creativity and peace. She is a wife, a mother, and recently earned her MA. When her head isn’t buried in a book, she can usually be found binging Outlander, working on new arts and crafts projects, or spending time with her family. She also enjoys telling corny jokes—none of which ever land, but she tells them nonetheless.

I am eternally grateful to Lana J. Williams for having me on her arc team. I need these books to feed my soul.

The first thing that draws me into the Chronicles of Sovereigns universe is the atmosphere. The world building is superb and written so delicately and intricately that I'm easily transported into the story. It's pure magic and I am obsessed. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this series is my Roman Empire. Threads of Betrayal does not disappoint and without going into detail..... the title is apt. I feel betrayed and I will not sleep tonight because I'll be up thinking about these events and what book four has in store for me.

Eira's transformation in this book is absolutely breathtaking. I adored her in Threads of Fate, but watching her growth from the quiet, patient, radiant Sovereign of Peace into this fierce, unyielding QUEEN left me in awe. Lana J. Williams has a way with words and this change was written so masterfully. It's not just the way it's described it's the way that everything feels different. The tone is changed, the pace is changed, it's absolutelt beautiful. I love all of her characters but sweet baby Eira holds a special place in my heart. She took over this book and made everyone else a supporting player, and it was magnificent.

Now I have to say I am absolutely devastated by the ending. It's an ongoing series so I should have been emotionally prepared, but the twist was buried deep and I was not expecting at all. I know there are easter eggs that I missed so I will probably go back in to find them while I try to process this betrayal. This series is so worth the read and the heartbreak. I will recommend it to everyone always.

Lana J Williams does it again.
Threads of Betrayal seriously lived up to its name!!! Continuing the story or Eira & Adrian (no spoilers)...to save Adrian, Eira is faced with challenges she has to accept, but whether she does, you will have to read and find out!!

The twists, turns and gutwrenching decisions had me on the edge of my seat! I was so excited that it also featured my fave mans Thalorè!!! Oh how i love that Sovereign of Death ❤️🥰!

As always, the descriptions and depth Lana goes into in her books is second to none, without dragging it on she is to the point and gives you as the reader the perfect imagery! "Like the tremor of a spiderweb caught in wind" ... I got chills! This was an epic depiction of the threads.

The ending, left me pissed off so bad at Lana, and an emotional wreaking ball. I'm now eagerly waiting and craving book 4. 🥵😮‍💨🤯😭😭😭

Where can I get the next book?
I was very fortunate to be able to read book 1 and 2 back to back. And I was not ready for this book to end where it did. This book had a lot more action and suspense than the former, that was a lot more aimed at worldbuilding. I don't want to spoil the story so I will just say that I enjoy the writing of Lana very much. She has a way with words that sounds almost poetic at times. I'm very curious at how this story will continue in the next book.
4 star 🌟

Thank you for having me on the ARC team Lana!

Oh how my heart misses a beat reading this beautifully crafted series. This is part 3 of the trilogy by Lana Williams and its still as beautiful as when this adventure started.

This author has a way of making the reader feel every emotion that is written through the pages.

There is deceit,  power, adventure, survival, and the added element of love.

Grab the whole series if you can.  I am sure like me, you will definitely fall in love with the series and all its characters.

Beautiful.....

"She would tear the world open until she reached him"

I was crying in Chapter 2.

I needed this story after Threads of Fate. I've been waiting so long for more of Eira and Adrian. And then to leave us on a cliffhanger?! Girl, that's criminal.

This is a story of a woman contained in a box she was never meant to fit into. A woman coming into who she was always meant to be and taking her life back for herself and the one she loves.

There is nothing better than a strong FMC that burns the world down, regardless of the consequences. Also, an MMC that will burn the world down just for the CHANCE to be with her.

Eira's metamorphosis is what I imagine Delight's change to Delerium would have been like, in Sandman. I get that vibe from Eira so much, but instead of a descent in madness, its the change into chaos.

The story moves so fast I wish there was more, more interaction, more damn pages.

Hurry, I need the next book! 🖤

Thank you so much to Lana J. Williams for allowing me to read and review this ARC.

Pre-release copy provided for honest review:

Threads of Betrayal sticks the landing in a way that feels smart, satisfying, and well-earned. This isn’t a skim-and-vibe finale—every conversation, subtle motive shift, and “that probably doesn’t matter” detail absolutely matters, and the payoff proves it.

The book shines in how it pulls together character growth, moral gray areas, and long-running plot threads without taking shortcuts. The betrayals hit hard, but also come with that delightful sting of hindsight: oh no… that makes perfect sense.

The pacing balances tension and reflection nicely, letting emotional moments land without killing momentum. By the end, the stakes feel personal, the consequences stick, and the resolution feels true to the characters—not just dramatic for drama’s sake.

Overall, it’s a rewarding, respectful finale that trusts its readers and delivers an ending that’s memorable, impactful, and just the right amount of emotionally rude.

Oh where to begin, where to begin!

Eira and Adrian! I have been waiting to get back to these two. The way things left off in book one had me reeling and now at the end of book three… arghh! Haha.

Also the rest of the sovereigns they play their parts as well. Thalore oh man let me just say I still love you but I’m hurt. The fates, the architect now that’s another area I’m really ready to learn more about!

Lana did a fantastic job continuing this story. It’s goes at the right pace, follows along great from book one when we first meet these two. She has set Eira up to be one bad*** fmc. The love she provides us between these two is absolutely wonderful. I flew through this book because I was hooked from the beginning.

If you want an enjoyable read that leaves you wanting more and hits you in the feels this series is it!!

listen… I already have it preordered and I’m tempted to buy it again just to experience it twice. That’s how good this is. If you want a book where the MMC and FMC would literally burn the world for each other? This is it. So. Damn. Amazing.

There aren’t enough stars for this book—honestly, the entire series is unmatched. The mystery? Addictive. The constant yearning for more answers? I was eating it up.

And Eira? When she’s basically like, “forget everything, I want my man,” I felt that in my soul. The devotion, the intensity, the ride-or-die energy—perfection.

What can I say? This is the 3rd book of the series and it is powerful! Have you ever had to choose between nature and heart? (Let that one sink in) When you knew what the consequences would be. Eira did just that with Adrian and within herself. The imagination, association with human nature , and vision of the Author is of none I have ever read. I consider it Romantasy with a large touch of unbreakable human spirit mixed in! Read this book! Read the Series!

I really loved this book, it continues following our FMC and how her choices impact her realm and the others. I do wish we got a bit more time with Adrian this book as he makes a few appearances but it ultimately is how Eira works to get back with Adrian. I was upset at the ending and I hope that can be explained a bit more in book four; why Thaloré and Caelus did what they did, what did they see?

OMG, first off, the dedication is everything 😭. Second, as the rest of the books in this series, there is a piece of the authors' soul on every page, in every word. The writing is beautiful! The yearning, and the rebuild of the FMC is perfect! There is even, like, half a pepper of spice in it. This book made me giddy, and even made me cry at one point. 10/10! I literally cannot wait for more!

Threads of Betrayal is a stunning continuation of Eira (Sovereign of Peace) and Adrian’s story. The lyrical imagery draws you onto the page immersing you in the love, angst, and pain of the characters. The world-building and character development of the FMC is exceptionally well done. And oh the ending… I WANT MORE! Can’t wait to see where this story takes me. I highly recommend.

A poetic story of "choice". Eira is a powerful sovereign who will do whatever it takes to have choice, something shes never had before. With Adrian by her side to ground and support her, she will do whatever is needed to succeed.

Lana does a great job writing in a way that inserts the reader into another universe, and isn't that what reading is all about?

This intense and passionate love story follows the MCs as they’re willing to risk everything for love. I’m a huge fan of the powerful female MC, and the gods and goddesses ambiance truly transports you to another world.
