I slept with my billionaire enemy and gave him power I never meant to surrender.
I’m not supposed to want Conrad Hale. He’s my investor, my professional rival, and the kind of man who ruins people like me.
One reckless night becomes a one-night stand I can’t forget. The next morning, we sign a contract that binds us tighter than the sheets.
He shows up when I don’t ask him to, stays when things get messy, and lets me see the parts of him no one else gets close to. He makes space for my fear, my grief, my stubborn hope—and somehow makes me feel safe enough to want more. That’s how I fall.
Then I find the clause. The one that lets him remove me as CEO and take my company at will. He watched me sign it while I was falling for him.
And now I could lose my company, my legacy, and everything my parents built—because I trusted the man I fell for.
Get comfortable with a whole bottle of wine you are going to need it because you will find yourself laughing out loud, yelling, everything until the last page has been turned. Conrad sexy as all get out billionaire, everything your mother warned you against in fact she told you if you cross paths RUN, cold callous man, see dollar signs with every adventure, willing to take advantage of the next inventor, and show them how he became a billionaire (wonder if there are nay redeeming qualities). Lena is a sweet person with a heart to help, to give what she can, a goal to make lifer easier with disabilities and so she invented something for her mom to live comfortable and thinking when she met billionaire she thought he cared like her so she signed the contract without an attorney or really reading it assuming everyone had a good heat like her. Boy was she wrong he was a cold hearted, arrogant by the time she realized her mistake she was already bound to him of course he was going to use the contract against her that was his plan until he actually started spending time with her during the startup and she teaches him there is more to life than money, than ambition, something worth getting up for, going home to but will he get it too late, will he have hurt her in the process of obtaining more wealth, will she keep her wonderful heart, and is there happiness for these two?
Conrad is a cold-hearted, arrogant, ego maniac jerk. But in truth, he really doesn’t know any better because he was a great student of his mentor. Lena is a very warm-hearted, idealistic, “do gooder” who has perfected an invention that truly serves people who have various disabilities, like her mother had, to be able to live a more comfortable, independent life. She is continuing her father’s dream but all Conrad can see is a great money-maker for an untapped market niche. He plans to take advantage of her inexperience and naivety but during the startup process, Lena shows him there is more to life than money and ambition. She really WAS naive to not have thoroughly read the initial contract (or have it reviewed by her personal attorney) but other than that, she was true to herself, her values and her dream. Lots of feels, HEAT, and angst.

I like this book from start to finish It kept your attention To the very end.
I like the writing style of this author She kept the story moving at a pace that you didn't lose interest in it. I know how many pages it said it was but when you were reading it didn't seem like that many pages. Each character was written so that you really felt like you knew them From his mentor victor To her parents and her sidekick pal girl They just seemed to blend perfectly and you felt like you knew each and every 1 of them. I could have asked for a better ending to this story I read other stories like this but her story just kind of Kept intact with the whole theme of the story And you felt like that was a perfect ending.
This was such an entertaining enemies to lovers romance. Conrad starts off as the kind of arrogant billionaire you love to hate, while Lena brings the heart and determination that makes you immediately root for her. Their personalities clash from the beginning, which makes the tension between them really fun to read.
What I enjoyed most was watching their dynamic evolve. The banter, the push and pull, and the chemistry between them kept things interesting the whole way through. And yes, the story definitely brings the spice, but it still balances it with emotional moments and character growth.
If you enjoy billionaire romance with strong tension, steamy moments, and a heroine you want to see succeed, this is a really enjoyable read.
He was in all practical purposes the enemy until lines were crossed. Lena is a wonderful person but naive signing a contract with a hidden clause that could ruin everything she has worked for. Conrad is everything she was meant to stay away from being the cold callous man he is until their paths cross and sparks ignite bringing them together in ways neither thought possible, but when she finds the clause will it change the trajectory of their relationship. This is a good story with characters I enjoyed getting to know through this story.

Conrad and Lena are polar opposites trying not to attract, but once they unite their passion is an instant spark.
Lena is head-strong and focused on making her father’s dream a reality, all while maintaining her compassion for others. Conrad is a no-nonsense, cut-throat business investor that is more concerned about his profits than humanity. Despite their stark differences, the attraction is instant. This book has it all- plot, spice, and main characters that have emotional depth that not only have ready to wholeheartedly dislike them, but also have you kicking your feet with glee.

'And now I could lose my company, my legacy, and everything my parents built—because I trusted the man I fell for.'
The characters drove the storyline and they were very compelling and complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was solidly drawn and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

Meg really wrote a grade-A alphahole with Conrad. He is a complete jerk and to stick in a hidden clause into the contract.... Lena wants to do go things and was so naive in not having the contract vetted properly. The level of angst and spark between them was perfectly done and I did enjoy the book. Thank you to the author for the advanced copy, the review is mine.
This entertaining office romance has drama, heartache, secrets, revelations, and a possible HEA. The MCs are defined, have chemistry, are determined, intelligent and stubborn. Secondary characters add to the storyline. I liked this book.

This was some sword back and forth, especially with that clause that Conrad snuck in. Complete jerk move. All while she was falling for him and knew it. That was seriously low. But dang the chemistry between them was so good! This was an amazing read. Pulled me in, held me hostage, and finally told me I could leave at the end. This one was a wild ride.
This book was really good. I love the characters and the storyline about the back story of the company. It kept you engaged. The heat level was great. The ending was very swoon worthy!
I absolutely loved this book The Billionaire’s Hidden Clause by Meg Kentman. I was happy to be an ARC reader for this author who is new to me!
Kentman 's writing pulled me in right from the start and kept me fully invested until the very last page. I read it rather quickly while laying in bed battling insomnia.
What really stood out to me was how emotionally layered the story felt—this wasn’t just a billionaire romance, it had heart, depth, and real stakes. The chemistry between the main characters Conrad and Lena was undeniable, but what I appreciated most was the the vulnerability. The “hidden clause” added such an interesting tension to the story, and watching how it unfolded felt both satisfying and emotional.
Meg Kentman’s writing made it easy to get lost in the story. I felt connected to the characters, their struggles, and their growth. Lena's desire to help people better their everyday living which is something close to my own heart. I am chronically ill and therefore understand what life is like for someone her company would be helping. If only her company was real!
I always hope for a HEA in a romance. This book gave me all the swoony moments and the emotional payoff.
If you love billionaire romances with strong chemistry, emotional depth, and a storyline that actually sticks with you, this one is a must-read. I couldn’t put it down and would happily read it again.

The title of this book is what initially intrigued me as I wondered what type of clause would be hidden. While the clause was not what I expected it did cause angst for the characters when Lena discovered it.
Conrad and Lena initially fight their attraction but once they succumb the heat is incendiary. The author made them relatable and as I learned more about their backgrounds I became more invested in them having their HEA.
I also love the business concept of Lena’s company and how she wanted it to be available for people who need it not just those who can afford it.
All in all this was an enjoyable and steamy read with a well developed plot and plenty of heat.

Lena and Conrad certainly didn’t take long to get steamy together. When they begin working together, the tension between them only intensifies, and as Conrad slowly starts to open up, everything eventually falls apart. Kentman draws you in with their battles and the heat between them, making you eager to see how it will all play out—and how Lena will help Conrad realize what truly matters and what’s worth fighting for. A sizzling five stars.
