Something Convenient: A Small Town Marriage of Convenience Romance

Rate this book
Uptight single dad. Corporate grumpy pants.
Lincoln Raines checks every box on my do-not-touch list.
Me? Fall for him? Never in a million years!
…Pity I just agreed to be his wife, though.

It’s no secret Lincoln Raines doesn’t like me.
He says I’m impulsive, obnoxious, too spontaneous.
Good thing I don’t need his approval.
I’m no stranger to rejection. I’m the outcast of my family, after all.

That smokin’ hot kiss we shared in the kitchen pantry was a mistake.
What we did next caused a category-five disaster.

Now my life is on fire.
And Lincoln claims to have the solution that will put out the flames.

A marriage of convenience.

Saying ‘I do’ to a man I can’t stand?
Sign me up…I guess. How bad can it be?

Especially once we set out our rules in black and white.
It’s all temporary. All for show. All for convenience.

I’ll get to claim the family inheritance that’s rightfully mine.
He’ll be able to save his business from the brink of collapse.
Our marriage is nothing but a business deal.

Fine by me. I wouldn’t want Lincoln if he were the last man alive.
That rare smile that lights up the room? I can see past it.
Those piercing blue eyes that show up in my dreams? They don’t affect me.
Those biceps that bulge beneath his button-down shirts? I certainly don’t need them wrapped around my body.

But it melts my heart, the way he always sets out an extra dinner plate for me.
The way he says my name like it means something special.
The way he reaches for me in the middle of the night.
He’s the first man who doesn’t look at me like I’m damaged goods.

I never planned on falling for my fake husband.
Yet here I am, head over heels.
And there’s nothing convenient about that.

Something Convenient is a steamy, hilarious small town marriage of convenience romance. It is book two in the Raines Family Series.

Ahhhh, this story… this love

I’ve got to hand it to Cassie-Ann L. Miller… her books are consistently so good!

I really loved Jules and Lincoln together. They are such opposites, but also so similar in how they initially fly off the handle so easily. Still the Love Fairy managed to love bomb them big time!

Thoroughly enjoyable read. The ending was a little understated, but these two and Cameron are the perfect trio!

What a LOL, delightfully steamy, enemies to lovers romance that is filled with wit, sarcasm, dysfunctional family members and a fake marriage that suddenly starts feeling like the real thing. And when said fake marriage is outed will Lincoln be able to convince Jules that they have that love they’ve always wanted? Grab this all of the feels journey and enjoy!! ❤️❤️❤️

It was refreshing to read Lincoln and Julissa's story Jules is so sassy and gives Lincoln a run for his money and Lincoln being so uptight it was like mixing oil & water @ first. This book has a little of everything A marriage of convenience, 2 people trying to get ahead, it's steamy and it has an HEA ending.

Cassie-Ann showed me once again why she is my favourite author. This book did not disappoint.

Jules and Lincoln’s story was just what my heart needed. It made me laugh ( a lot), cry and believe in happily ever after.

If you love stories about love then this is definitely a book for you
