A perfect conclusion to The Gravesinger Series. It jumped straight into action in the first few pages which stayed consistent throughout the book. This is my favorite book Emma has written, I couldn’t put it down. Thank you to Emma and Gallery books for an ARC copy!

As much as I love Emma Hamm's writing, I found myself having a very similar experience with **The Endless One** as I did with book two. In fact, I ended up switching to the audiobook because I struggled to fully immerse myself in the world through the text alone.
That being said, I was ultimately satisfied with how this trilogy concluded.
The biggest strength of this series has always been its ambitious blend of dark magic, gods, witches, death, rebirth, and epic stakes. Jessamine's journey from an innocent bride to the feared Gravesinger remains one of the most compelling aspects of the story. Watching her continue to challenge fate, gods, and powerful enemies made for some genuinely memorable moments.
However, my main frustration throughout both book two and much of book three was the arrogance of the main characters. Time and time again, they seemed convinced they were untouchable and had everything figured out, despite repeated evidence proving otherwise. Unfortunately, **The Endless One** opens with many of those same patterns repeating themselves. Plans go disastrously wrong, mistakes are made, and while none of it was particularly surprising, it was often frustrating to watch the characters continue making decisions rooted in overconfidence.
For that reason, the first 75% of the book felt slower and more aggravating than exciting for me. I found myself waiting for the characters to finally learn from the lessons that had already been laid out in previous installments.
Thankfully, the final quarter of the book delivered.
Once the story reaches its climax, the pacing picks up considerably, the stakes feel real, and the emotional payoff begins to land. The battles, sacrifices, and final confrontations gave me much of what I'd been hoping for throughout the rest of the novel. Jessamine fully embraces her role as the Gravesinger, and seeing her stand against powers far greater than herself made for a satisfying conclusion.
I also continue to enjoy the romance between Jessamine and Elric. Elric remains the protective, utterly devoted shadow god that readers have loved throughout the series, and his unwavering devotion to Jessamine was one of the highlights of the book for me.

This year has been great for readers! There are sooo many books coming out that are the next or final installment in bestselling series. I'm in the middle of a few series (27 isn't that many, right?!), and I couldn't wait to bring that number down.
If you've been thinking about finishing The Gravesinger Series by Emma Hamm, this is your sign!
This book doesn't hold back; it opens with a high-action scene, and the pace doesn't let up until the final page. I'm continuously impressed with the author's ability to pack a full story into 300 pages. I think it can be difficult to write a well-developed fantasy world, intricate plot, and character growth with limited pages, but Emma Hamm pulls it off!
I also like how this series continues to embrace female rage. It's refreshing to read about a strong female character who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to take it. I also like how much the main character, Jessamine, has grown throughout the series. Jessamine has always tried to do what she thinks is best for her people, but it isn't until this book that she gains the confidence in herself and her allies to be the figurehead her kingdom needs.
Next, I have to talk about the romance. I don't mind spicy scenes in books (Phantasma and A Court of Silver Flames cured me of that), but this book brings the heat. Unfortunately, some of the scenes made me squirm, and I thought their timing was less than ideal. That said, I still like Jessamine and Elric together, and I'm happy that this book wraps up their relationship arc in a satisfactory way.
My only other complaint is that there are at least two scenes where the main characters could have stopped the villain but chose to wait or let him go. Jessamine and Elric claim it's because they want the villain to fear looking over his shoulder, but I personally don't agree with that rationale. It allows the villain to continue torturing and killing innocent people, which is everything Jessamine and Elric stand against.
While I didn't like this book quite as much as the first two in the series, I still think it is a good way to finish Jessamine and Elric's story. I like how The Endless One embraces female rage, positive character growth, and tells a fast-paced plot in around 300 pages. Overall, I'm rating this book 3.25 stars.

📝 ARC Review: This is the final book in the Gravesinger Trilogy. I loved book 1, but book 2 was very disappointing for me and I was hoping book 3 would be a glorious comeback.
While I was quite pleased with how this book ended and enjoyed the final 25% of the story, the first 75% left me just as disappointed as book 2 did. My main issue was the arrogance of the MC's, which came out in book 2, thinking they were above anything or anyone being able to stop them, even though that obviously wasn't true. And so we start book 3 off with them once again thinking they've got everything figured out and are unstoppable, but their plans go horribly awry because of their arrogance. It really wasn't shocking, just aggravating to see more of the same mistakes they made in book 2 resurfacing in this conclusion. But like I said, the very end of the book was pretty great!

I started this series literally last week on a whim because I kept seeing the author's TikTok videos. Is this the most well-written series known to man? No. But I genuinely had so much fun with it, enough that I'm definitely buying the whole trilogy as physical copies.
If you've made it this far, I won't rehash the whole series, but this book picks up with a time skip from the last book. The Coven is hunting down the main villain of the series from the start, and chaos (in the worst way) ensues. Nothing in this book (for me) surprised me. I'd called the twist from the very first book with some of the plot stuff that had been going on, but it was so satisfying to see my theory turn out right, especially when it felt like it had been steadily built up with lots of good context clues throughout to point to this direction. I loved the ending. It wasn't super sad, and there weren't any insane characters deaths or plot twists, but it was satisfying and nice to see the "happily ever after" of it all.
If you're into a soft fantasy with romance, cool characters who stay pretty true to their selves, and just wanna watch a gal beat the shit out of someone who is awful while her hot BF watches, I'd recommend it.

This is the epic conclusion to the Gravesinger trilogy. These books should not be read out of order.
Gravesinger/witch Jessamine and the deathless god Elric, with the help of the coven they’ve created, are trying to stop a tyrant from summoning the God King.
I liked this book. It hits a lot of the big romantasy tropes, with a devoted shadow daddy MMC and an FMC who is a force of nature. Both MC had huge growth arcs over the series transforming greatly from book one to three. Plot-wise, it was kind of a wild ride. A lot happened, with complicated magic and plot lines, but once I was about 30% in, I was pretty wrapped up in the story and remembered what had happened in the previous books. Beyond the romance and magic, I loved how much this series played with themes of duality, especially life and death. There were a lot of themes I personally connected with.
Overall, this was a satisfying conclusion to a pretty eventful trilogy.

Emma Hamm is an author I’ve been familiar with since reading the first two books in the Gravesinger series, and I’ve appreciated the creativity she brings to the gothic romantasy niche.
That said, as I was reading The Endless One, I realized that this particular story and style didn’t seem to be quite the right fit for me anymore. I found myself struggling to connect in the way I had in the first book, and ultimately, like the second one, this one wasn’t able to pull me in.
What I loved: the unique take on witches, magic, gods, and death. The MMC being devoted and protective of the FMC throughout the series. The conclusion of the series ultimately was a good one.
What I didn’t love: the slow repeat of themes from Book 2.

Jessamine and Elric have a god to prevent from coming back to the mortal realm, but are having a hard time of it. I don’t want to spoil the book for anyone, so I’m going to leave much of it as that. I will include that I liked the growth of both MCs in this book, whether it was dealing with past trauma, learning new facets of themselves, or becoming something they were meant to be all along. I also really enjoy Greek references and while I’m not sure the author meant to do this, I loved those none the less. This was a great ending to the series, and while it wasn’t perfect, it was a happy ending which is always a crowd-pleaser!

I absolutely love this series, and The Endless One was the perfect conclusion. I’m honestly just grateful I didn’t have to suffer waiting until release day to read it.
If you love stories about characters overcoming betrayal, heartbreak, and years/lifetiems of being told they are weak or unworthy only to completely shatter those lies, you will devour this series — especially this third book. It was deeply emotional while still delivering the rage, vengeance, and justice that felt so rightfully earned.

This was a perfect ending to the series. We see a softer side of Elric. He’s still The Deathless One with a little more emotion and date I say feelings. This book starts off in a whirlwind, picking up right in the middle of the action the second book left off in. Leon being embodied by the God King was a bit confusing initially but you pick up on the signs on if it’s Leon or the God King who’s present that are helpful in distinguishing the two.

Ultimately this was a good book, I was definitely a bit lost since I didn’t realize this was the 3rd book in the series and haven’t read the previous ones. I liked the characters and was glad to have some story line of what happened before so it wasn’t too hard to follow along.
