Rate this book
In "Tribe Novel: Bone Gnawers, " valiant Garou warriors return to Eastern Europe to eradicate the growing evil that has confounded their efforts thus far. Where the mighty and noble have failed, hope now rests with humble werewolves who make their homes in filth. In "Tribe Novel: Stargazers, " Antonine Teardrop may hold the key to Garou victory against the evil of Eastern Europe, but his tribe's withdrawal from the Garou Nation may have damaged his credibility beyond repair. Even if it has not, servants of the Wyrm want him dead.

I often wish I could give different stars to each half of these books, since they are all two-in-one stories. It is the same here. The first half, Bone Gnawers, is good but basically just moves the story along. The second half, Stargazers, was much more in depth and gave great insight to the legends behind the Garou. I highly preferred Stargazers over most of the other tribe novels.

Sumamente entretenida, rápida y captura perfectamente el sabor especial de la tribu, su relación con los espíritus y el desarrollo espiritual, sin desmerecer el afán concreto y violento de la nación Garou. La mejor novela de esta serie que he leido.

Bone Gnawers is poorly written, very juvenile prose that's awkward and clunky to read. It does pick up a little at the end when the action kicks in.

Stargazers is excellent, deeply investigates the lore and the philosophy of it, is excellently paced and very vivid, and sets up a lot of the future arc.

I really loved the Stargazers part of the book, have always considered that tribe very interesting and it did not dissapoint, Antonine is a great character... Really looking forward to the Silverfang story after reading this one...

While the series has a few more plot holes than I remember and more than a few silly moments that you can almost hear dice rolling in the background, it still remains fun to read.
