Enemies to lovers is one of my fav tropes.
And when I get both POV that is an extra bonus.
Dark fantasy with spice and the fact that superheroes are real!!! Yes I said superheroes are REAL!! But so are villains!
A true superhero & villain story!
The names are amazing Checkmate & Charade - how stinking cute.
I hate that there is a HEA, well at least in this book. Maybe in the next book?

I really enjoyed Checkmate & would like to thank Anne Natalie for allowing me an ARC.
I loved exploring a world with actual superheroes & villains. I loved the duel POV & it really helped immerse me into the story. I enjoyed both characters & watching them come together.
That ending was pure torture though! Cannot wait for book 2! I wanna see where this goes.
Would recommend for fans of superheroes, romantasy & enemies to lovers.
