Free ARC REVIEW Sara and her new Alphas are figuring out how to navigate this new scent matches they are discovering. As well as trying to find out why people at Sara's new job are forgetting parts of their day. Pack or Know is not just a smutty good time. The plot is good follows a good story line and im looking forward to reading book 2. 4 star and 2.5 🌶
Sara finally got a job after numerous interviews. It’s hard for omegas to get a job, especially without any work experience so it took time for Sara to find a company to hire her. I didn’t know how things would turn out when she found out her scent matches were her bosses. She knew she had a scent match in the building but didn’t know who it was at first. They have a policy for a no scent building. Once the guys knew who she was to them they didn’t know how to react. They wanted to tell her but also didn’t know because they were now her bosses. Once she found out things moved quickly for them. They started courting her, but kept it out of the office out of respect for their Omega. They took her on some really fun and cute dates. Although she didn’t have a one on one date with Lars yet. I didn’t know what to think about his behavior towards her. He was avoiding the topic of the date and wasn’t as affectionate to her as the others were. Sara felt differently toward Lars as well. We find out later in the book why the two felt the way they did although it’s a little bittersweet, it makes sense. Their friend and HR person, Hannah’s reaction to the guys’ interest in courting Sara was a bit strange. She was supposed to be their friend, but her initial reaction didn’t seem like she was all that happy about the idea. I initially thought she might cause some problems with them or at work. Thankfully, I was mistaken. I now understand her reaction to the news. Everything works out and she and Sara are actually good friends.
While the guys were busy courting her, a significant problem arose at work. Erik had been experiencing instances where he couldn’t recall specific details or events. I had this feeling about one of their workers, Max. I thought he was a shady character. I had a gut feeling that something was off with that guy. I was right but I also didn’t expect to read just how bad of a person he was.
I’m glad everything worked out great for everyone. Sara and her guys are happy and in love and everything at work is going great. I’m excited to read book 2 when it comes out.
I picked up Pack or Knot because fated mates and omegaverse stories are part of my guilty pleasures, and the fact that this one is non‑shifter made the world feel fresher. The world‑building has this subtle, almost dystopian undertone — not bleak, but rooted in the way different countries treat Omegas. Some places clearly lean toward control or mistreatment, while the country where this story takes place is actively working to make Omegas safe and comfortable without dismissing the roles of Alphas and Betas. The FMC is a perfect blend of soft and strong. She's emotionally open, deeply intelligent who feels real, capable, and quietly powerful. I adored her from the start. The pack dynamics were one of my favourite parts. Everything felt incredibly natural, and I loved how eager the MMCs were to get to know her — one of the joys of the omegaverse genre. Let’s be honest: everyone wants at least one person to feel that way about them. What makes the plot so satisfying is how seamlessly it’s woven into the characters’ discovery of each other. The story unfolds through their growing connection, their shifting dynamics, and the way they learn to navigate this new bond. Nothing feels forced. It all develops with a natural rhythm that keeps you invested from start to finish. The secondary characters add so much to the relationship building. They support the MCs, reinforce their choices, and help shape the emotional landscape without ever stealing the spotlight. They make the world feel bigger without overwhelming the main storyline. Overall, I didn’t feel the pages go by. It’s one of those books you sink into without noticing the time, and I could have happily stayed in this world for longer. A well‑balanced mix of plot, connection, tension, and universe‑building, and definitely a world I’d return to if the author gives us more.
I absolutely loved this book so much and the fact that this was a debut certainly surprised me. For a moment, I was starting to wonder if things were just going to be low angst but man, I was completely surprised by the workplace drama that was happening.
I also loved the different cultures we get from the pack because it made it more interesting to learn about the characters. I love it Jen the characters are mixed, different ethnicities or just have different backgrounds.
I also love how protective Sara’s family is for her wellbeing. I laughed when they all found out how old the guys were. That scene was entertaining.
I just loved how protective Jessy, Erik and Adam are for their omega. They would do anything for their omega. I absolutely loved the ending and how we kind of get a teaser for the next book.
I freaking loved Lucia. Enough said. She’s so strong and I need more of her.
I cannot wait for the next story because I have a feeling Lucia, Hannah and Lars are going to be a fun pack. For a moment, I was worried about him.
I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.
This was a really solid debut that blends omegaverse, workplace romance, and a bit of mystery in an engaging way. The premise is fun from the start, especially with the scent match element and the FMC finally finding both a job and a potential pack all at once. The pack dynamic is one of the strongest parts of the story. Each member brings something different, which keeps the relationships interesting and gives the story a nice sense of variety. Watching those dynamics shift and grow was one of the highlights. The added mystery within the company helps give the story direction beyond the romance, though it felt a bit lighter compared to the relationship focus. The pacing is generally steady, but there are moments where things could have been explored a little deeper. Overall, this is a strong start for a debut. It is well written, easy to get into, and shows a lot of promise. A great pick if you enjoy omegaverse with found family and evolving relationships.
Pack or Knot by Marina Ramwell is a bold, addictive start to the series—diving straight into a world of instinct, hierarchy, and desire where emotions run just as wild as the wolves.
This story brings classic omegaverse dynamics with a strong emotional core. The heroine is navigating identity, belonging, and autonomy in a system that constantly tries to define her role for her.
And the pack? Each member brings a different energy—protective, dominant, conflicted, and deeply tied to instinct. The tension between choice vs biology is what really drives the story.
What stands out is how the book balances:
* primal attraction vs emotional connection * power dynamics vs personal agency * pack loyalty vs individual desire
It’s intense, steamy, and layered with that constant push-and-pull of “do I belong here… or am I losing myself?”
If you enjoy why choose, possessive dynamics, and high-heat paranormal romance, this one definitely delivers.
I received an ARC copy from the Authour. This is my honest review. I’m no shape or form is this a paid review.
The opening was cute. I got to see how worried and headstrong Sara was about her destination and getting the job position, especially because of discrimination from betas.
Adam seems like a sweetheart especially when he got excited over the scent match. Love that Erik fell for her instantly. Jessy found his muse in Sara which was adorable to me. Lars is very serious, but his character can be frustrating in dealing with emotions. The Lars really got me though… I hope he finds his place. I love how all the male pack members: Adam, Jessy, and Erik interact with each other. I love how diverse the pack is with personalities and cultures.
The twist had me in a chokehold because I was not expecting that. It explains so much happening in the work place as well. I had that feeling that was what was happening in the middle of the story… but wasn’t sure, until the end.
Awww! Oh my god this was one of one of the sweetest omegaverse romances I’ve read in a long while. Sara struggled to find a job as an omega but finally she finds one at Paylance. What she didn’t expect was to find her scent matches. She is more than excited with both but something isn’t right at Paylance and the dynamics in the pack are shifting. Now Sara and her Alphas must navigate both the both to find their happiness. I really enjoyed the pack dynamics in this book. I adored reading about the existing bonds between the guys and their growing bond with Sara. The tension that came about when not everyone in the pack was expressing their true thoughts and feelings made for a very engaging read. The resolution of the tension was such a sweet moment too. This truly was such an enjoyable read I hope to see more from this author in the near future.
I enjoyed the subtle mystery woven into this story. It’s not overly intense, but it kept my interest in a quiet, steady way. One of my favorite aspects was the exploration of different cultural elements—those small details, like traditions, celebrations, and unique sayings, really added depth and made the world feel more alive. I always appreciate getting glimpses into cultures outside my own, and this book delivered that nicely.
I also liked that the “pack” dynamic wasn’t portrayed in a typical, neatly packaged way. It felt more realistic and refreshing to see relationships and structures that weren’t tied up perfectly.
That said, the transitions could use some improvement, as they occasionally disrupted the flow of the story. Overall, though, it was an enjoyable read.
4⭐️ 3🌶 Tropes: omegaverse, open door spice, MFMM, scent matches, workplace romance, boss X employee
When I found out that this was a debut novel, I was really surprised. It is so well written and has such a good plot with the corporate espionage, fated mates and workplace dynamics. I loved the different languages spoken and the diversity of the characters. Sarah is hilarious, the banter just in her head alone is worth reading this book for. I think Jessy's my favorite of the 3 MMCs although I loved all of there personalities. There are 6 spicy scenes with different combinations of involvement, although p249, in my opinion was the best. Favorite funny quote, "he lasted less than a fart in a hammock."
I love omegaverse, it's one of those things that has so many different ways to interpret the genre but still bring you that same comfort level as a favourite blanket.
Pack or Knot was a good mix of workplace romance with a sprinkle of suspense and mystery. While i felt the pack dynamic and growing relationship was the star of the show, the storyline was the right amount to keep things rolling.
My favourite part was how the different cultures of the pack members were brought into it. Old and New traditions being shared.
This was a super cozy read. The plot was very compelling, equal parts relationship building and corporate shenanigans. I definitely didn't see the twist at the end coming. The characters were very lovable and you could feel how much each person's culture meant to them. Marina also did a great job making the supporting characters loveable as well, setting up for future books in this world. I would recommend this for fans of Devyn Sinclair and Ari Wright, those who love their story cozy but with plot and maybe a little angst.
For this being a debut novel, I think it was well done. The characters were interesting, the plot was intriguing, and for the most part everything flowed pretty well.
I do think that the was too much stuffed into not enough pages. One of my biggest issues was that one of the pack members ended up not being pack and we were also seeing him find his own pack throughout the story. I know that the 2nd book looks like it will be focused on them, so I personally wasn't a fan of that. I do think it was interesting to have one member of an already established pack end up not belonging, but it's just not something I enjoyed reading. It honestly felt like the FMC was taking a back seat the majority of the book to the MMC's and ths mystery of the business.
Overall though, I do think it was a great debut and I'm looking forward to seeing what this author puts out next!

Got an ARC and I can say for the author’s first book it is well written. While there are some gaps in story telling. The depth of character evolvement is high and the story line is awesome. While there is smut it’s not just smut! Can’t wait for part 2!
Ok this was amazing!! Def different than any other Omegaverse tropes I've read! Congrats on it being your first book!! The writing was awesome and the storyline kept my attention. I literally read this in 4 hours!!! Can't wait for the second book!
Pack or Knot was a great book that I enjoyed reading. The characters were fantastic, and it was a great story to read. It was easy to get hooked from start to finish. I recommend giving it a read!
Thank you Marina Ramwell and Naughty Nook PR for the ARC!
Scent matches, finding their mate, completing their pack. But within this oh the story line is so good! From the banter, to the seriousness, this has it all. And they are so good for each other, especially once they get all the kinks out of the company. I loved the ending.
Marina Ramwell's debut novel does not disappoint. An omegaverse story that is easy to slide into and understand. The pack dynamic in this is so good and gives heart to the story. There are some really interesting and surprise elements to the work plot line that I found really kept me turning those pages.
