At the ripe age of seven, I penned my first epic, complete with stick figure illustrations. Sadly, my drawing skills haven't improved much, but my love of creating fantasy worlds is still going strong.
Yep, I still love writing about fairies, ghosts, and other supernatural creatures, only my stories pack a little more heat these days.

I currently reside in Michigan with my husband and overgrown lapdog. I'm a member of Romance Writers of America and Greater Detroit Romance Writers of America.

When I'm not writing or working the day job, I'm usually tinkering in the garden (weather permitting) or drooling over those smokin' hot Winchester Brothers from Supernatural. Strictly for research purposes, of course.

Hurricanes and Handcuffs: A Red Hot Cajun Nights StoryHurricane and Handcuffs: A Red Hot Cajun Night Story is exactly a RED HOT CAJUN story. I loved it! Jodi Redford took everything that is red hot and made one steamy one night story between two absolutely beautiful people. It was a short story, something I am not use too, but I didn't notice because the story was addicting. It is full of everything you want when reading a short story.

Gabrielle Scott is a culinary genius working for a super hot bachelor named Jaxon Noble. The story begins with Gabbi in the kitchen ill as any horny female who can only look but not touch the sexy Jax as he struts his new arm candy around the room. Gabbi and Jax have a love hate relationship only because they basically grew up together. Gabbi's mother was the Noble's Nanny/house keeper for many years. Now that Gabbi runs the house she has finally reached the end of her tolerance of watching Jax's playboy lifestyle and decided she deserved her one night to release years of built up sexual tension before she turned in her 2 weeks notice.

I absolutely love Gabbi. She is your independent, self sufficient, intelligent, natural beauty that was so easy to enjoy reading about. She has spunk and attitude that even Mr. Playboy himself could barely resists. Jax is the super hot bachelor, ignorant about love. He is your typical hot male, muscles and all who just needs that kick in the ass to open his eyes to the one special person standing in front of his face.

This one night Cajun love story is centered around a Mardi Gras costume party in the Noble mansion. With all intentions of catching Jax's attention, Gabbi opts for "racy" attire. And boy does she get it in more ways than one. I loved this book, it was short, to the point, full of juice and grit without all the unnecessary dialogue that can usually drain the reader. The book is exactly what the title says, A Red Hot Cajun Night, Five awesome stars.

Pretty fast read with some steamy scenes..lots of steamy scenes. I liked that these characters didn't shy away from laying it all out there. When it counted Jax stepped up and Gabbi she just was a very strong and likeable heroine. Enjoyed this hot sexy read a lot.

An everyday Cinderella story for those who need that shot of love and a steamy romance! I love Jodi Redfords writing and the way she writes! The wonderful twists and turns in the plot are smooth and fast and in no way drag on, and every story she tells is refreshing so say the least! I think you would be silly to pass on a book like this! I am a huge fan of Jodi books because they are quick and to the point and they don't have you waiting long. The story lines are always good and they leave you to the point that you want to read more from her. Hurricanes and Handcuffs was a quick read that kept you entertained because although you could predict what was going to happen you couldn't wait to get there and see how it played out. I loved Jax and Gabbi because they were both fighting what they felt for different reasons until they had no choice but to admit how they felt. This is the book that you would read in one setting and be glad that you did.
