Good one and average one
An average read. His take on life and business. The decisions he made, the risk he took. Concise and nicely written. A quick read. But I did not find the title justifying the content or the other way.
When i look at the book name warren buffett, made me more curious and excited to read it immediately and after 40 to 45 minutes, I finished. When i started reading i was highly encouraged but when i completed half reading, i did not find any interesting stories inspired from financial giant's life as he must have so many good or bad events in his personal and professional life. I haven't seen anything except numbers, number crunching, score or stock market inside the book.
Story of Warren's marriage was not even narrated in clear manner and author straightaway wrote about the death about his wife.
This excerpt briefly shows various events of Mr Buffett's life. I think if we go through the highlighted portions in the kindle version, that is sufficient. Some phrases and passages were worth noting and implementing.
I was expecting more business lessons than story.... Though it has many good business and life lessons, I was expecting various problems faced off buy Warren and how did he dealt with them.
This is more of a news paper article which can be finished under 60 minutes and is also very useful. I rate 3 stars for the few highlighted portions.
It's quite true that one needs to be really obsessed and passionate about what one does and if lucky one can always achieve the end objectives as defined in the beginning of the journey!
Still appreciate the author for delivering some matter about great financial market Giant.
