Nice, precise book on things to pick up from Warren Buffet. This acts as a good summary to his biography, however, I prefer the biography itself to this book.
Having said that, would highly recommend this book for a quick read and motivation.
I Did not find the title justifying the content or the other way.
This excerpt briefly shows various events of Mr Buffett's life. I think if we go through the highlighted portions in the kindle version, that is sufficient. Some phrases and passages were worth noting and implementing.
This is more of a news paper article which can be finished under 60mins and is also very useful. I rate 3 stars for the few highlighted portions.
This is a great interesting book. The newness doesn't dry until the end. That may be I am reading this stuff for the first time. But another thought it brought in me now and then is there is lot of going together between him and our Tamil classic Thirukkural.
It's quite true that one needs to be really obsessed and passionate about what one does and if lucky one can always achieve the end objectives as defined in the beginning of the journey!
I was expecting more business lessons than story.... Though it has many good business and life lessons, I was expecting something more.... Nonetheless good book....
Good insight in the life and work of one of the biggest names in investors world. Warren Buffett is an inspiration for rich and poor , old and young alike
An average read. His take on life and business. The decisions he made, the risk he took. Concise and nicely written. A quick read. But I did not find the title justifying the content or the other way.
When i look at the book name warren buffett, made me more curious and excited to read it immediately and after 40 to 45 minutes, I finished. When i started reading i was highly encouraged but when i completed half reading, i did not find any interesting stories inspired from financial giant's life as he must have so many good or bad events in his personal and professional life. I haven't seen anything except numbers, number crunching, score or stock market inside the book.
Story of Warren's marriage was not even narrated in clear manner and author straightaway wrote about the death about his wife. This excerpt briefly shows various events of Mr Buffett's life. I think if we go through the highlighted portions in the kindle version, that is sufficient. Some phrases and passages were worth noting and implementing.
I was expecting more business lessons than story.... Though it has many good business and life lessons, I was expecting various problems faced off buy Warren and how did he dealt with them.
This is more of a news paper article which can be finished under 60 minutes and is also very useful. I rate 3 stars for the few highlighted portions.

Still appreciate the author for delivering some matter about great financial market Giant.
Lesson for life, person with a passion which decides his life who comeover from all difficulties and failures but most people does not because of roadblocks and limitations this is the difference between success and failures it is not about success its all about the way you live with a passion and integrity .while reading this book i become great fan of mr.warren buffet i admire you sir!!
Awesome work by george ilian and he made this opportunity for me to know about how will be the life with passion
This was a good short book about Warren Buffett's success as a business owner and investor. The book gave me a small perspective of his life with several great quotes to remember for my life, work and family.
I was disappointed though with quite a few grammatical and spelling errors throughout the book and wonder why the book wasn't proofread better before publishing, even as an ebook. The author should do better to make sure spelling and grammar are correct before publishing and if it is possible, review his past published books and correct any grammar and spelling errors.
This book is not particularly about investing. It talks about the general lessons that Buffet learnt in his life and the principles that make him successful as investor. Author asserts that these lessons apply to all walks of life, personal as well as professional. I liked the concise nature of the book. The message is brief and simple. Quoting from book - "You only have to do a very few things right in your life as long as you don't do too many things wrong".
The book as promised in its introduction has given only a bird's eye view on Buffet, on his primary interests, on his cardinal principle that he followed before investing in a company and what he has planned to do with his enormous wealth etc.No other details on his personal life.Within its limited scope, I think the book has justified its purpose of creation.
Just the summation of wikipedia page and several other websites
I was expecting a more detailed biography, as I have read from Wikipedia page and other websites...this book did not add much. He (writer) did not research in depth .....No wonder he has a also published a book called "how to publish a book in 30 days".
I think this book is worth sharing about the scintellous life of great entrepreneur and a big hearted philanthropist who believes in the serving downtrodden irrespective of nation
This book is worth sharing, it gives deep insight of the life of a great philanthropist and a matured and colossal entrepreneur's
It's a good book, people who are interested to become more rich should read this book. It tells about buffet's complete life. There are other things apart from investing what we can learn from buffet. To know what other things you can learn apart from investing, you have to read this book. I am not going to disclose it..! :)
Clearly mentioned success mantras of Warren Buffet's life which you can learn and apply them in your own life. In this book you will read all about his achievements. What i dislike about this book is you don't get learn much about his struggle and failures in detail.
As the title suggests, This book gives a brief insight of the life and challenges faced by Buffett.
Thoughts are well crafted and composed with meaningful messages throughout this book. Chapters are well categoriesed and the whole narration is clearly connected!
The simple yet effective ways to deal with life and work are the best things one can learn from Buffett and the way the author portrays is awesome. Interesting to read and easy to understand.
A very quick, largely inspirational and moderately informative read. The kindle version was riddled this typos and grammatical errors, which I felt lessened the integrity of the book's message. I would not read this again, but I am glad I read it.
I don't know why I giving such book as low rating, it's quite simple n good book, but may b I expect something else that's y I give only 3, Wht I want is tricks, and faliure lesson from buffet life Thanks Keep writing..
Good summarized reading and valuable lessons learnt from the iconic, enigmatic Mr. Buffett's life. Investment is an art and one can understand why only few get a hang of it. Interesting!!
I consider this book a short precise and adept business lesson by Warren and his life . Shorter version gives ample idea into how his life has been and how he will shape
Good book. But too short completed in almost 2 hours writer could have covered some points in detail overall good read if you want to know about Warren Buffett in short. But after reading this I'm definitely going to read his biograph.
