I honestly don't even know where to begin. This means so much to me, this is way too intimate for me. I didn't want to finish it, I wanted to keep going and keep reading and keep discovering new things and maybe cry a little bit more, because this is just too good to have an ending. And I think that their last dialogue ("I don't want things to end either" - "So they won't") is a really good example of what I mean. I don't want it to end. And it won't. It will always have a special little place in my head.

I had no idea this was on Goodreads but I read it a couple of months ago when I was having a difficult time mentally, and it actually changed my brain chemistry. It's such a beautiful piece of literature that deserves more stars than I can give it on here.

This is one of the most popular dnp fics for a reason. The narrative rythm of the story is just amazing. Still one of my favorite fics ever.
