We just discovered this series and at the perfect time! My youngest child is learning to read on her own and this story is so much more entertaining than most early reader books. It combines the simplicity of early reading with the fun of a graphic novel. It teaches simple words while also interspersing some more difficult ones and an engaging and silly story.

Nat the Cat (the leveled reader character) levels up in this longer format easy reader intended as a transitional text.
Might work best as an Elephant & Piggie scaffold at home and should be great for PK-1 classrooms and ELA intervention for Gr2-3
