Omegaverse – Captor x Slave – Alpha x Omega - Forced Breeding & Sexual Enslavement – Mpreg & Lactation/Milking – Body Betrayal

I was one of the last omegas to be born the normal way. Before the population crisis loomed, and everything changed.

It didn't take them much to strip us of our rights in the name of procreation. At the very least, I'd trusted my father to get me into a situation that would be tolerable. One of the nicer breeding centers, maybe, or privately sold to a wealthy couple who would be kind to me between assaults.

I never thought he would sell me to the highest bidder, or that the highest bidder would be such a shithole. But now my life exists within these thick, cinderblock walls, being force-bred by a parade of alphas day after day.

Some are vicious. Most are indifferent. Only one is kind, but it doesn't really matter. No amount of kindness will ever give me back my freedom, or a future that isn't so bleak.

Unless someone comes to save me, I'm looking at twenty more years of this abuse. And if my life so far has taught me anything, it's that no one is ever coming to save me. Not even the kind alpha with the gentle scent.

*First* book by BL Sparrow and I’m blown away. I really shouldn’t be surprised. This omegaverse is so different from what I’ve read in the past, less soft insta connection more gritty raw heartbreaking. Can erotica be heartbreaking, yes .. yes it can.. apparently the author wants you cycling between sniffling back tears and being turned on 😄.

This short novella packs in a lot, it’s setting an atmosphere of a world of lost rights, no line between right and wrong, completely dystopian. In the midst of that Shiloh is jerked out of his complacent life and thrust into being an object - a means to an end in the worst possible dehumanising conditions. If non con is not something you are comfortable reading (and I get it , it’s many times isn’t for me as well) this book isn’t for you.

This captor slave romance will definitely give you the feels when Strawberry and Blue Eyes connect with the Omega. A lot of it just sweet too, like very lovely. There are ofcourse horrors that Shiloh is made to endure.

Strawberry and Shiloh have chemistry that sets the pages on fire and there is definitely and HFN and I hear there is a sequel which I must get my hands on.

Since I like omegaverse and this author's other books (this was my first book/novella under their pen name), I was intrigued to read this. This drew me in right away, and I devoured it in no time. But not gonna lie, I felt a bit uncomfortable reading this, which isn't surprising given the themes of this book.

I absolutely loved the MC, Shiloh. My heart broke for him; he suffered so much. But because there were some really tough scenes here, everything that happened with the kind alpha made it even better and more special. The connection between them—how, even in such a short story, there was such a strong bond between them. And the way he called him “Strawberries” 🥹🍓

And Shiloh and Gabriel, are you kidding me? I love those names.

This delivers exactly what it promises and considering it’s only 150 pages, the connection between the MCs and the plot is great.

I need the next part, like, right now.

A book with wall to wall non-con made me sob? Yes. Like a wee baby. And not for reasons related to triggers or content warnings. The plot and romance f*cking gut punched me.

I came for smut and was forced to have feelings which is wicked rude (I’ve sent my complaints to Erin already, don’t worry).

Anywho, read it.

I received a complimentary copy of this book but this is my honest and voluntary review. 🖤

Spice: 4🌶️

Vibes:
🖤 Omegaverse
🖤 Captor x Slave
🖤 Forced Breeding
🖤 Dark Romance / Horror Elements
🖤 Alpha x Omega
🖤 Body Betrayal
🖤 Emotional Damage
🖤 Survival & Hope

Bred by is one of the darkest, most brutal books I’ve read in a long time and yet I could not put it down.

This is a first person, single POV story that throws you directly into the horrifying reality of an omega whose father sells him into sexual slavery after omegas lose their rights in the name of population survival. His existence is stripped down to one thing only: breeding.

And this book does not soften what that means. It’s uncomfortable, painful, degrading, and genuinely heartbreaking at times. Watching him endure endless abuse while slowly losing pieces of himself hurt in a way that felt almost claustrophobic. There were moments I had to pause just to process what I’d read.

But somehow, underneath all the darkness, there’s still this fragile thread of hope running through the story. One gentle alpha. One small kindness. One tiny possibility that maybe survival could become something more. And that hope is what kept me desperately turning the pages.

The spice is absolutely filthy and intense, but because of the context it constantly has you questioning your own morals while still being completely unable to look away. It’s the kind of book that leaves you emotionally wrecked but obsessed at the same time.

Definitely check trigger warnings before going in because this book earns every single dark romance tag attached to it. But if you like truly dark omegaverse stories that push boundaries and make you feel everything, this one will absolutely consume you.

Holy. Moly. What did I just read?! 😳💔

I’m actually still sitting here trying to process how an omegaverse novella rooted in such a dark, dystopian, noncon world managed to completely wreck me emotionally. Like… full on tears, lump in throat, staring into space after finishing kind of wrecked. I genuinely didn’t think a story with these themes could make me feel this deeply—but somehow, B.L. Sparrow proved me very wrong.

And that’s the thing… I’m usually not a noncon reader. It can so easily slip into territory that just doesn’t sit right with me. But B.L. Sparrow is one of the very few authors who can take something this heavy and still weave in emotion, connection, and heart in a way that feels intentional and impactful rather than just shocking.

This novella might be short, but wow does it pack a punch. The world is bleak—rights stripped away, morality blurred, survival over everything. And right in the middle of that, we follow an Omega who goes from expecting one kind of life… to being thrown into something completely dehumanising. Watching that shift? Absolutely heartbreaking. 💔

But then… them. 🍓👀
Strawberry. Blue Eyes. Omega.

There’s something about the way they connect with Omega that just sneaks up on you. In between the darkness, there are these moments of softness, of care, of something that almost feels like hope. And I didn’t expect that tenderness to hit as hard as it did. 🥺

Also… the chemistry?? 🔥
Strawberry and Omega together?? It’s intense, emotional, and yes—definitely page-heating in its own way.

This is very much a captor/slave dynamic, and there are difficult moments that won’t be for everyone. So please, please check your trigger warnings before diving in. If noncon isn’t something you’re comfortable with, this one won’t work for you—and that’s completely valid.

But if you are willing to take the risk on this journey… just know you’ll end up wanting to protect Omega with your whole heart. I know I did. 🥺

And that ending?? A hopeful-for-now kind of feeling that has me needing the sequel immediately because I am not done with these characters yet 😭📚

This is dark Mm omegaverse and I never thought I could feel so emotional reading non con but somehow this book proved me wrong. It’s book one of a duet and while it does not end in a cliffhanger it does end in a HFN. It also includes mpreg & lactation.

This is a world where the population has been steadily declining which has led to omegas being sold or forced into breeding. Betrayed by his father and sold to the highest bidder, this story follows an omega who only experiences kindness in his cruel new world at the hands of one unknown alpha.

I have a soft spot for anything pitch black, and this was definitely on my preferred side of dark. There are themes of forced br*eding, non-con and body betrayal, and it’s the kind of f*cked up you can’t put down.

After assuming he would present as an alpha, an unexpected change sees the MC become an omega. He’s sold into breeding by his own father and suffers through unimaginable horror, their singular saviour being Blue Eyes - the only alpha with an ounce of compassion.

Dystopian omegaverse that was both heartbreaking and delicious. Check warnings, most notably, there is noncon in this.

This was too short. I need the next book to be 500 pages long! This is such an interesting world the author built that I could see potential for so much more (like many many books more, or 500-long pages more ;) lol)

I expected a smutty taboo erotica or whatever but all I got was a very, very depressing book oh my god I was sooo fking sad the whole time
I really liked them both 🍓 but the whole story is absolutely sad I couldn’t even enjoy the spice. I can’t even describe how to feel because you read smut but you’re sad? My brain is fried 😂

Seriously harrowing 💔

God I wish this was longer. I want to know what happens in the aftermath, and read about the boys developing relationship.

+ I'm so intrigued by the world - I feel like this could be an awesome starting point for more stories to follow 🤞🙏🤞

If you saw me reading this, no you didn’t. Mind ya business!

Short, filthy, and dark. With a surprisingly sunny ending? Supposedly this is a duet and when the second one comes out, I will read it. And again, you will zip it! 🤐

I’m just in a funk. This book was full of breeding, but it was harsh while putting in a bit of connection. I wanted freedom so much that it made it hard to read.

This is definitely not your average omegaverse read. Betrayed by his own father and sold to the highest bidder, If you're considering picking this one up, please read the trigger warnings first. It contains non-con, dub-con, and themes of bodily betrayal, making it a much heavier read than a traditional omegaverse romance.

- Forced breeding
- Lactation
- Dark MM omegaverse
- M pregnancy
- Captive x captive
