Welcome to Peachtree a sweet, cozy small town where family is everything. The “go-to for elevated beach reads,” (People), Kristy Woodson Harvey, returns just in time for pumpkin spice season.

The air is crisper, the water is calmer, but, when it comes to the Murphy family, nothing is ever quite as simple as it seems.

Youngest sister Emerson is busy planning her dream wedding to Kyle. But her difficulty expanding her family is overshadowing her joy. Pregnant middle sister Sloane and her husband Adam’s dream house has turned into a nightmare. Everything is over time, over budget, and Sloane is over it. Eldest sister Caroline, as always, is there to swoop in and get her sisters’ lives under control. Until her focus is more than a little shifted by Emerson’s hunky costar who manages to sweep her right off her feet—just as her not-quite-ex-husband decides it’s high time he begged Caroline for a second chance.

Matriarch Ansley and her new husband Jack have finally hit their stride. But when a scandal that would affect every single Peachtree Bluff citizen comes to light—and it seems like Jack just might be at the center of it—Ansley questions whether he is actually the man she thought he was.

Through it all, these women must rely on their powerful family bonds, and the quirky characters and small-town charm of the place that, no matter what, always calls them home.

Falling for Peachtree Bluff
By: Kristy Woodson Harvey

Kristy’s books are always cozy, and about real life. I know I will get a heartfelt story filled with an array of emotions, like coming home. I was thrilled when she announced a new book in the Peachtree Bluff series. This is #5 and with perfect timing. We continue hearing about the Murphy family as the youngest daughter Emerson is planning a wedding. You can count on drama, love and relationships that are relatable. Thank you Kristy for giving us another book in this delightful series.

I received a digital ARC of this novel from Gallery Books, via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This is the fifth book in the Peachtree Bluff series. It can be read on its own - the author does an excellent job of filling in the details of each novel throughout ths one that a reader who is just picking up this one will not feel like they are missing anything. However, I recommend reading the whole series because I truly have come to love all of the characters.

This novel did seem a bit rushed to me at times, but that may just be because there was so much tot the story. I love how it all came together at the end of the novel.

Falling for Peachtree Bluff was such a fun fall family story. This book is the fifth book in the Peachtree Bluff series. Not having read the other four books in the series, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book. The author does a good job of filling you in about the characters’ stories and this book can be read as a standalone.

This book follows the story of Ansley Murphy and her three grown daughters (Sloane, Emerson, Caroline). Ansley lives in her family’s historical home in Peachtree Bluff in southern Georgia. Ansley is the patriarch of the family and started the family business named “Sloane Emerson”. What once started as just one store has now expanded into multiple locations and cities.

Eldest sister, Caroline lives in New York City with her daughter and runs the New York location of the Sloane Emerson store. Her husband (soon to be ex-husband) had a very public affair that left her life in shambles. Sloanes live is spent half in New York City managing the store and the other half in Peachtree Bluff. Caroline is in a love triangle with her not quite ex-husband and Emersons hunky costar.

Middle Sister Sloane, her husband, and her two boys live in Peachtree Bluff. Sloane is the curator of all the Sloane Emerson stores nationwide but is currently pregnant with their third child and doesn’t see herself keeping up with the family business. Her house has been in the stages of being built for ages, so she calls in the big sister Caroline to help finish it out. She needs to move in before the baby arrives.

Youngest Sister Emerson and her husband are busy planning their wedding. They had their first child out of wedlock and have been trying to get pregnant again through IVF with their second baby. Their difficulty getting pregnant is overshadowing her joy of planning her wedding.

Kristys writing transports you right to a dreamy, cozy fall town filled with charm, gossip, and community. Thank you to NetGalley for the advance copy of this book. I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars.

Even though I haven't read the other Peachtree Bluff books (yet), this was a great stand alone story. I'm sure those who've read the series will be happy with this continuation of the characters also. Every character shone in the spotlight at various points in the story. Emerson is getting married and the entire Murphy family worked to make that happen with a few amazing surprises at the ceremony. Sloane is pregnant, working with Sloane Emerson franchisees, and trying to get her new house finished. Caroline continues to be the big sister that tries to swoop in and fix everyone's troubles while not addressing some of the issues in her life. The matriarch, Ansley, loves having her girls home, but has to make some important decisions of her own. As I got to know this family and this small town, I wanted to be their neighbors and hang out with them during all the fun fall activities. I don't know if there will be another book in the series, but I could see it continuing with stories about the families and kids as they continue to grow and learn to cope with trials and tribulations that all readers can identify with from their lives.
Weather you are a long time fan, or a newbie like me, I think this is a perfect fall book. The characters welcome you into their lives and their town and you root for their successes and empathize with their troubles.

Kristy Woodson Harvey has done it again! Reading Falling for Peachtree Bluff made me feel like I was coming home to my favorite fictional town.

I absolutely adore this series and this fall setting has made me excited for Autumn though I'm reading this in April. I love seeing my favorite sisters and what's new in their lives as they prepare for Emerson & Kyle's wedding, Sloane is pregnant as their house renovations are a nightmare and Caroline is in a love triangle with her not quite ex-husband and a movie star. Plus Ainsley and Jack! I also loved seeing Vivi's chapters too!

I love the relationships in this this book (and series) and the final paragraph had me tearing up. This town worms its way into your heart and never lets go.

I loved this book and you will too! If you haven't read any of the books in the Peachtree Bluff series, you have the summer to fall in love with my favorite fictional town before Falling for Peachtree Bluff comes out in September!

A huge thanks to Gallery for an advance copy of a very anticipated book!!

WOW. I always think Kristy cannot top her other Peachtree Bluff books and I am ALWAYS blown away by how seamlessly they all flow and jive with each other. I LOVED this book. I could not put it down and I love that she is continuing to include Vivi's perspective as well.

The stories for each of the Murphy women were wonderful and I so enjoy the themes of motherhood and sisterhood in these stories. As the oldest of three girls, her portrayal could not be more spot on. If there is one thing you want to do for yourself this summer- it should be to read this series so that you will be reading for Falling For Peachtree Bluff this September!

Thank you thank you Gallery Books and NetGalley for the ARC! It is always a privilege and a pleasure to return to Peachtree Bluff!

Welcome to Peachtree Bluff!! One of my very favorite series but it can definitely be read as a standalone. This is the 5th book in the Peachtree Bluff series and I binged this one so quickly!!

Peachtree Bluff is a fictional town in GA but Kristy writes it so well that you can see the water, smell the coffee and hear the cheerleaders at the football game!! Ansley and her three daughters..Caroline/Sloane/Emerson are always involved in so much!! Caroline runs Sloane Emerson in NY, Sloane is an artist and takes care of Sloane Emerson business in Peachtree Bluff with her mother and Emerson is an actress in NY. Throw in some husbands, boyfriends and some interesting town folks and you will get lots of drama!! There will be some romance, a wedding, a birth and so much more!!

Returning to Peachtree Bluff in Falling for Peachtree Bluff felt like coming home. Kristy Woodson Harvey has such a special gift for creating places and characters that feel real, and slipping back into this world felt like catching up with old friends over coffee on a chilly fall morning. It was so nice to see what the family has been up to and revisit the town that has become so familiar and beloved over the years. As always, her writing transported me straight to a dreamy, cozy fall town filled with charm, community, and all the autumn magic I wish I could bottle up and keep forever. 5⭐️’s, cannot recommend enough!🤎📚🍁

I absolutely adored this book!
This is the fifth book in the series and it was everything we have come to expect from the Murphy girls, throw in the Fall season and everything Halloween and Thanksgiving, and it is a recipe for enjoyment!
Watching these girls on their journey through all the ups and downs that they have had, just strengthening their bond of sisterhood, family, traditions, and my favorite island all mixed up in one and I loved this new season of their lives.
I cannot wait for more life updates from the Murphy girls!

I was not aware that this was book 5 in the series when I requested an ARC copy of it. I went ahead and read it anyway without reading the other books in the series. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will probably go back and read the other books at some time. I think you can totally read it as a standalone book. I loved all the main characters and getting to know Ansley, Caroline, Sloane and Emerson, their spouses and children. Great read! Pick this one up in September 2026.

If you’ve read the first four books on the series, this was like getting reacquainted with old friends. You know the kind- those friends you can pick right back up with like no time has passed. The relationships written about in these books are realistic and beautiful even in the hard parts. Make sure you enjoy a fancy coffee while reading.

KWH has gone back to the series that started it all-Peachtree Bluff and she’s made it just as great as the first books. The family love and chaos is in full effect and it’s a quick paced story because it’s all the characters that we know and love. HIGHLY recommend!!!

If you've read the Peachtree Bluff books before, this one honestly feels like coming home! I read the series years ago, and getting to return to this world with the Murphy girls was such a fun treat. Kristy Woodson Harvey nails those cozy and small town vibes, and I absolutely loved catching up with Caroline, Sloane, and Emerson! If you love family centered stories with a little romance, a little drama, and a charming coastal setting, this is such a perfect fall read!
