I was born and raised in Utah. I am the first born of three children to my mother and father, Byron and Janice. I studied at Salt Lake Community College, majoring in Information Technology and Graphic Design. I married Hayley Shaver, who is also a writer, and we have worked on several books over the past months.
I discovered my writing passion a year ago through working with my wife. I am a deeply religious person motivated by God. I am a fan of poetry and philosophy of all kinds and ponder it often.
I have read many contemporary novels along with inspirational literature. I love writing about inspirational stories that fill the human soul and writing about mythological adventures. I also love reading science fiction and fantasy works.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Fun to read with clever characters. It was inspiring without being preachy. I enjoyed the theme of the unbreakable will. Lots of fun twists and turns with tender romantic moments. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
This is an excellent book. It has strong characters, spirituality, mystery and suspense, and a lot of other things combined to make it one heck of a read.
I JSUT FINISHED THE BOOK. I WOULD HONESTLY GIVE IT FIVE STARS. I liked to vivid scenes and the comfortable pace that leads throughout the spiritual transformation of Gracie. Gracie went through a lot of hardships, losing her father, not getting along with her mother, rejecting Piglet the dog and the hard decision she made to run away. She made that move not knowing how she could survive and having no money to support herself. Through the survival ordeal she learned to appreciate her dog Piglet and take her as a companion while she looked for a job and met strangers. She faced many disappointment until she met Derricks. He led to the right path of spirituality. With the help of Derricks she learned the meaning of love and forgiveness. I recommend this book. It's refreshing and shed lights to the meaning of spirituality and love.
