This was beautifully written. I could feel all the words because the author has a wonderful way of describing life. This is a history of a family that I wanted to know. As a Guyanese American, I identified so much with the culture and stories. It was nice to read something that felt like my own. This was a love letter to the author’s family and worth the read.
