Annie Taylor is in the middle of a murder again. This time, it’s personal. With the help of her friends, both human and paranormal, she needs to solve the mystery of Amanda McCandless before more people die. But when an unexpected heir arrives, threatening to reclaim the cursed McCandless horde, will Annie have the courage and strength to fight back?
Quirky characters, cursed items, and a murder to solve, this fun and quick read is the sixth book in The Antiques and Drinks series.
The sixth book in the series. These books continue after each other like there is no time between them, so I would recommend reading the book(s) before this one as well.
As at the time of reading this book, about a year had passed since reading book number 5, I did have to think back about what happened in the timeline. But it was fun catching up!
I this book we learn more about Annie's past, which felt intriguing and heartbreaking at once. We also see a side to her spectral buddies we didn't know yet and a surprise near the end.
Even though it is a short read, I loved the backgrounds and inner turmoil.
