Wow wow wow. I fucking love masked men smut. That ending was definitely unexpected the hunt. I definitely need to hear more about this. Hopefully there will be a sequel

The book was great right from the beginning really sucked you in. The dynamic between Nirvana and Blake was spicy! Cody one the other hand...let's just say he's a bitch 😂 for being a short read it had a great plot i just wish we got more of the back story of the characters it was intriguing! would love to see a 2nd book just about the hunt. I would definitely read more books written by Stephany.

This was a short & spicy stalker romance! Our fmc finds our mmc while searching for new partners to create online content with. Shes in charge 100%; follow her rules or leave. What she didn’t expect, was to become the prey this time around.

I loved how the inside of her home was described, it feels exactly like how I’d want my future home to look/feel (basement room, aside)

I liked this one, the plot is there, but let’s be real. You’re here for the spice with this one

If you love masked men who are OTT possessive and obsessive with a dirty mouth I strongly recommend you read! I was lucky enough to be an ARC reader and I devoured this book! I couldn't put it down, the MMC was 🔥🔥🔥 and the spice was the perfect level and the plot twist you won't see coming!

Plot (no spoilers): Dark romance author, Nirvana, values her privacy. Alone in the woods with her words, she is able to be herself and keep her readers satisfied by fulfilling their secret, dark desires. She turns the plot of her novels into spicy scenes she films using masked men for hire to act out her scripts.

Enter Blake and his video entry. Blake is everything Nirvana has been searching for in a scene partner. He doesn’t play the part of the masked villain. He embodies him. The voice. The confidence. He appeals to Nirvana in ways she can’t ignore. Except Blake's entry isn’t random, and Blake isn’t going to play by Nirvana’s script. He is busy writing his own.

My take: Off Script was an easy, fast paced read. The plot is engaging and the spice is spicing. It isn't what I would call a feel good read, but it is a feel. good. read. Blake is the right amount of unhinged, possessive, and dangerous but confident enough in himself to make you want it–want him. It's only when Nirvana's freak matches his own that the fun really begins.

My only complaint? I would have liked more back story on the characters. Don't get me wrong, there is enough to understand everything that happens and enough to add some depth to a plot that's heavy on the sexy. I'm just a characterization kind of girl.

Also, let's take a minute to shout-out Nirvana's bff, Ryan. I've heard from a little birdie that his time to shine is coming. And to that I say, yes, please.

What happens when a dark erotica romance author hires masked men to help play out her scenes? This book happens! Off Script is crazy madness full of erotica, kink, mayhem, and murder. Nirvana, the FMC, lives in a secluded cabin in the middle of nowhere and holds auditions to find the perfect masked men to help act out her scenes. She invites a couple of masked men to her cabin, but things go ‘off script’. We meet Blake, the man that’s obsessed with Nirvana and planning on showing/giving her exactly what she wants. We go into this story thinking that Nirvana is going to get herself into some trouble by randomly hiring masked men, but then we discover some hidden secrets about her that are shocking, leading us to know that she is equally crazy and dark. Blake is technically not a nice guy; he is crazy, dark, and murderous. Yes, he would do anything for Nirvana and is utterly obsessed with her. Yes, they both make a cute crazy couple when they’re together and do lots of criminal things together, but hey, we just go along with their crazy, toxic behaviour. They’re also so deliciously filthy together. I’m definitely interested in what crazy, messed up things they’ll get up to next.

WOW

I loved this book. If you love Dark Romance then you will definitely love this.
There is darkness the whole way through, a lot of other books I’ve read take a while for the characters to get involved with eachother and discover each others dark side but this, darkness was everywhere and I lived for it!
The flow of the story was good too, not your typical dark romance read in my opinion. Normally there’s ups and downs in a book however this book I feel stayed on the same wave and got higher at the end. That is NOT a bad thing, I really enjoyed the pace and the way the story went. I need a man like this…
Also Is that a hint right at the end of the book? I think it is, I cannot wait for whatever else is to come of these two!!🫣❤️🔪

Maybe I’m crazy…

Butttt I devoured this book and loved every second of it. I’m a sucker for a masked man dark romance and this one was no exception. Absolutely loved Blake (and Nirvana). They were both perfectly unhinged and I loved it! The spice was SPICING. 10/10 on the spice, the plot. Everything. I wasn’t a fan of Cody so that’s why he didn’t get praises here lol am I crazy for wanting my own pet King? Probably. But he seems like the perfect pet! Also, bonus points because this author is local to me! Glad I discovered her!

If you love dark romance, Off Script by Stephany Gallegos is a must-read.

This book is completely unhinged in the best way—I couldn’t put it down. The masked man trope adds so much tension and mystery, and the chemistry is intense from start to finish.

It’s dark, addictive, and definitely not for everyone, but if you enjoy edgy dynamics and a bit of danger in your romance, this one delivers.

Quick read but very enjoyable. I wish there had been more background, primarily for Blake, especially to explain what caused his obsession with Nirvana. But overall it had good plot, there were some spots that could have used a bit more detail, but it wasnt a detriment to the story. I really hope there is a sequel that will cover the hunt, there are so many cools things that could be done with that concept!

Off Script by Stephany Gellagos absolutely consumed me.

I loved that both the FMC and MMC felt morally gray/villainous, but their pasts made you understand them completely. Their connection was intense, messy, obsessive, and honestly perfect for each other. Plus the pets were such a fun bonus.

This is dark romance at its finest. I absolutely loved the fmc a dark romance author who dabbles at being an influencer. She has a side gig where she hires anonymous masked men to play out her book scenes. Well she didn’t know who she was up against till she met Blake. He’s the perfect masked man. The twist in the book caught me off guard and I couldn’t put it down. I also love that it’s formatted like a script! If you didn’t catch that, shame on you! Read this!!!!!

It started off a little bit slow, but it quickly picked up. I was hooked after the second chapter. The plot is original and unique. It has very likable characters, besides Cody, he was annoying. The spicy scenes were on point for me and the ending was very satisfying. My only complaint was that there isn’t more!!! 10\10 would highly recommend.

They saw one another depravity and met the challenge of keeping pace. How quickly their fantasy came to life when Blake’s the weapon! Amazing book!

This book gripped me like “steel wrapped in velvet”🔥As soon as I started it I could not put it down I smashed it in one sitting. It was so easy to become invested in the characters. I liked how the pace of the relationship between Blake and nirvana wasn’t rushed and developed in a gradual way with them building trust between each other. I also really love Ryan’s character and hope we get a story about his travels with the husband’s ashes🤞🏼
