Josh, a good looking, popular high school student, meets his new neighbor, Emily, over summer break. She is homely, a little overweight, and doesn't compare to the beautiful, popular girls he dates. Yet he finds himself falling for her charm, wit, and personality and looking past her physical appearance. But when the school year begins, and he's back with his old clique, he doesn't know if he can afford to be seen with a girl like Emily. Will he dump Emily for the next pretty girl on his list or risk his status and friends to pursue true beauty?
