Longing to experience the life her mother once led—the life of a carefree Parisian heiress—Avery Keller opts to give up everything she’s ever known—family, home, and a love affair with her dearest friend Pete. But when the dream abroad becomes a nightmare, Avery must count on her family and the man she loves to help her escape. But once home can she pick up where she left or will fate have stepped in and given Pete someone new to love?
Bestselling Author Bernadette Marie writes contemporary romances and believes in Happily Ever After. The married mother of five believes in love at first sight, quick love, and second chances. An avid martial artist, Bernadette Marie is a certified instructor and holds a second degree black belt in Tang Soo Do. She loves Tai Chi, traveling to Disney parks, and having lunch with friends. When not writing, or running her own publishing house, Bernadette is probably immersed in a Rom Com, from which she will often quote one liners.
So, so, so sorry that all these kids are married off already. Love this series and this family. Thank you Bernadette for making my laugh, cry, be mad, and happy. Cannot wait to read more of your stories and characters. Thank you again.
The Keller Family series just gets better and better! Avery Keller wants the life her mother had and gave up. That of a rich heiress living it up in Paris, with chauffeured limousines, fancy clothes, and jewelry. We all dream of happily ever afters, being rich, and famous. But dreams have a habit of turning into nightmares, and Avery, having walked away from her fiance and best friend Pete in Nashville TN, finds herself a virtual prisoner abroad. I loved reading this book, it gives us the flip side of luxury and old world families.
And Peter had been friends since second grade, he has been in love with her forever, she finally sees it on her birthday when they go from being friends to much more. But her grandfather dangled a winery in France at her and she & Pete were suppose to go together until his dad heart attack. But grandfather was going to use her. She escaped with help from family and Peter still loves her.
Avery needs to find herself but as she is ready to leave for France she allows herself to give into her feelings for her longtime friend. When things go bad in France can Avery depend on anyone to be there for her including the love of her life?
Bernadette has done it again! The love story of Peter and Avery is absolutely and undeniably HOT!! I love how Bernadette weaves a storyline from a past book into this present storyline! The book ends in true Keller style...everyone present, all passionately loving and committed and living their happily ever after!! Way to go Bernadette!! Now go eat you some pink and black cake!!!
Avery and Pete have been best friends since childhood, but one night changed that. They thought it was for the better until something terrible happened. Can Avery stand by her man or follow the unknown? How bad could things get?
Another well written story in this series. But this is my least favorite book in the series. I didn't really care for Avery and her selfishness. I am also not a fan of reading about main characters with other people, it's just not my cup of tea.
5 stars! Great conclusion to the series! Pete is such a sweetheart! So glad that Avery realized that what she was looking for was right where she left it. I love the Kellers!!!
The start of this series was excellent, I loved it but now it's one of those series I feel should have stopped while it was ahead. It's nice to see what the children have grown up to be though.
I admit I shed a few tears when I started reading Avery and Pete's story. I'm more than a little sad that the Keller's series has came to an end. This story like the rest was a joy to read.
