My Thoughts - 4 out of 5 Unicorns - I really liked it!!!
***Received the ebook for an honest review, but I bought it before I read the copy she gave me :)
The cover definitely grabs my attention which is probably why I bought it as soon as I saw it :) but I’m a shifter book addict for sure :)
Catherine’s books always leave me feeling happy when I read them :) I wished there was a bit of action though in this one since they were cops, but it didn’t happen. I like seeing shifters go all caveman protecting their mates. It is always easy to connect with Catherine’s characters and worlds though I can’t help but wonder is Alex’s story published and I just haven’t seen it or is it just part of this story only in minute details. Catherine does an amazing job with the bears sharing Sadie, but the men are not lovers which I was wondering when I started reading this if that was the direction it was going.
Sadie is easy to connect with….well at least for me because I’m horrible at the whole dating men thing, so I get the bad experiences clouding everything in the here and now. Her best friend is honest and tells her like it is which is great when she thinks too much. The boys are….well everything I would want ;) My favorite scene involves water, but you have to read it to know what I’m talking about :)
I recommend this story to all the bear shifter fans out there who don’t mind two bears having one mate :)

I was gifted a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Sadie just wants to met one nice guy. Is that too much to ask? After dating some major losers she is desperate enough to let her best friend Peyton set her up on a blind date. The problem is that its with two men at once. There's gotta be something wrong with that...right?
Dane and Jackson are best friends and both are bear shifters. As the new alphas for their clan they need to find a mate that is willing to be shared between the two of them. When they meet Sadie and are both attracted to her they believe they've finally found the one for them. But they fear that telling her the truth about their dual nature will make her run for the hills. Determined to win the sweet and sassy Sadie they tag team her until her head is spinning and she can't possibly think about not being with both of them together.
Sadie made me laugh. I could see her confusion of how she was supposed to date both Dane and Jackson without one of them getting jealous. Her fears of what would happen when she had to choose on them was even more telling. I liked both Dane and Jackson. They were both sweet and so caring towards Sadie from the start.

This was a good story. I liked Dane and Jackson as the heroes of the story and Sadie was a good heroine except for 1 part that I found...disappointing. This is the first book I've read by this author and I liked it enough that I'd consider trying more of her work in the future.
Sadie is a nice woman who hasn't had much luck with men. Sadie seems to have bad luck with attracting losers and this hasn't helped her self image issues (that go all the way back to high school). Sadie works as a vet tech and has a decent life but does wish she could meet the right guy. She's unsure if she's moving in the right direction when her BFF sets her up with a blind date with 2 guys...both at the same time.
Dane and Jackson are werebears and have been BFFs since they were kids. They've always been close and have shared everything. Once they were named co-alphas of their pack, the pressure was on for them to mate (for the stability of the pack). Dane and Jackson know they want to share a mate but now they just have to find the perfect woman.
So Sadie goes to a bar to meet up with Dane and Jackson. She's surprised at how attractive they both are and how interested in her they both seem. She's also a bit confused about the fact that they don't seem to feel the need to compete with each other for her attention. By the end of the date, they clue her in to the fact that they both want to date her and not compete with each other and she's ok with that, feeling she can wait to see how things work out. Regardless of what they say, Sadie is convinced that eventually she'll have to choose between them. They start dating, both separately (with Sadie going on dates with each of the men without the other) and all together (where all 3 are on the date).
Sadie isn't sure about where things are going but she starts liking both men very much. Jackson and Dane think that Sadie is perfect for them but they're worried about easing her into not only a menage relationship with them both but also the knowledge that they're both werebears. TBH, I thought that they played things pretty well and progressed well. Unfortunately, there were some issues and Sadie wasn't as accepting of everything as one would hope which caused some drama towards the end. Eventually she gets her head together and things get worked out, the story ending with Sadie, Dane and Jackson starting a HEA together.
This was an enjoyable story. Overall, I liked the characters...Jackson and Dane were good and I didn't have any complaints about them. I liked Sadie for the most part but her reactions to certain things was very disappointing and brought down my enjoyment of the story (otherwise I probably would have rated it 4 stars). Regardless of Sadie disappointing me, I still liked the story and enjoyed it overall. :)

I liked it - I am a Catherine Vale fan! And it was my first Kindle Unlimited book (30 day trial here).
My only compalint - and this goes for all of her books - is that they are always too short for me cause I want more! The story is good and all conflicts are resolved so its not that she needs to write more for me to enjoy this book. My issue is that I enjoyed this book and these three people/shifters as a menage couple (not sure I can use that word but don't have another word to use) and I would love to know more about them as they build a life together. I am greedy - I always want more words from authors I enjoy!

I received this book as an ARC for a honest review. I may or may not post spoilers.
Now this book surprised me and I had a hard time putting it down as I read it. It has a different take on shifters. It has 2 alpha males running the clan of bear shifters. A BBW young woman who has been hurt in the past who over thinks everything.
I was super pleased with the writing style of this author, who takes a enjoyable realistic view on shifter relationships. She writes in such a way you can believe this is possible in real life. That you could be this lucky young lady and find this type of males. Which makes it super easy to blend yourself with the young lady and the males as your reading.
The sexy scenes are not over the top, in fact again they are believable. Not saying they are not hot, just it is written in a way that its possible to be in her place. The writing style is able to transport you into the bar, the woods, or even the other places they have dates.
Your hometown boys and girls do on most dates. I would say this is a great new shifter book that combines real life and shifter life in such a way to as open that door and make it possible to believe in shifters hiding out in our world.

Going on a blind date with two men is way out of Sadie’s comfort zone but Dane and Jackson soon have her falling for them and the reader can’t help but get drawn into the story as Sadie starts to open up to the idea due to her burning desires for both. The chemistry between these strong compelling characters sizzles from every page and the m/f/m sex scenes scorch the readers inside and out but the relationship may just come to a screeching halt as Jackson and Dane have a secret, one that their hesitant to share with Sadie.

This was a pretty good short story. Sadie is a single plus and down on her luck her best friend Peyton offers to set her up on a blind date she refuses, but Peyton isn't taking no for an answer Sadie goes on a date with not one but two hot guys. Werebear's Dane and Jackson have been the best of friends ever since they were young cubs so when they are both made alpha of their clan, they agree to share more than leadership they want to share a mate all they have to do is convince Sadie. This was a good book and I wanted more, this was my first time reading this author this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. The chemistry is strong between the three of them. We follow these two alphas as they try explain to Sadie that she doesn't have to pick and to show her their other sides. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

You'll have to read this very revealing and fun love story to find out the adventure that ensues.
I really liked this story, it was very believable. I mean how would you react if the 2 hunks you just had mind blowing sex with for the first time told you, no showed you, that they turn into bears? You would probably freak out!

Sadie hasn't had much luck in the love department so her friend convinces her to try a dating service. Problem is she is set up with two men. How does one go about dating two men then choose or does she? Jackson and Dane are looking for a mate and Sadie is the perfect candidate, but what happens when they keep a huge secret from her. Will Sadie understand and stay by their side or will prove to be too much?

I have not read too many of Catherine Vale's books, but the cover on this one just grabbed my attention. I was a bit surprised that Sadie was initially unsure about being with bear shifters, but enjoyed how the story ended. I will probably pick up a few of this author's other books since I enjoyed her writing style on this story.

Wish I could give a negative star rating. This story was shit plain and simple.
1. It made no sense timeline wise.
2. The plot was stupid and had NO FORESHADOWING. Things just happened. In fact there was no Plot it was just a bunch of shit smashed together in the most awkward way possible.
3. The the female characters (because Jackson and Dane were actually really sweet and didn’t deserve the shit sandwich known as Sadie in their lives) were bland, boring and the WORST PEOPLE EVER. Both Sadie and Payton were selfish arseholes I wished would just die. Seriously Peyton constantly refused to abide Sadie’s obvious boundaries around sharing her relationship details. And Sadie was just a selfish prick who had all the power and made the guys wait for her go ahead to do anything. Talk about a power imbalance. Because sure there’s being patient with your partner/s and then there’s, Sadie holding Jackson and Dane’s balls in a vice because they apparently didn’t share their big ’ole secret on the first date. She was exactly what she said she was near the end TSTL (Too Stupid To Live).

Jackson and Dane, I pretty much adored from the moment we meet them. Here are two guys caught in a really difficult situation and they’re desperately trying to make the best out of this that they can. Saddie made me want to tear my hair out most of the time. She’s mostly sweet and wonderful , but I found her to be overly dramatic. Everything that isn’t exactly how she expects it to be is The End Of The World. Thankfully, Chicken Little gets her head on straight and Sadie realizes she has something amazing with her two bears. If she hadn't been such an over-the-top Drama Queen I would have enjoyed this story more and rated it higher.

Firstly, this novella was given to me under the name Twice as Wild. I have also seen it on the author's website as Her Two Bears. This review is for the menage story of Sadie, Jackson and Dane.
Okay, lets start with what I liked. I enjoyed the premise/plot being a big fan of mmf menage and shifter romances. This novella had plenty of potential and could be a pretty good read.
There is one main huge issue standing in the way of this novella being worth the read. I personally enjoy first-person point-of-view (POV) but no more than one person's POV should be told in first-person per novel. I was good with things when we started off in Sadie's first-person POV but then we move to Dane's POV but we stay in first-person. This gets confusing for a second until you realize the switch and it totally pulls you out of the story. Then we start going back and forth between not 1, not 2, but THREE different first-person POVs! That was when I would have put the book down if I hadn't been given it free for review. I do NOT review books I don't finish and aside from the POV issue and a few minor grammar issues (easy to overlook on their own) the story was nice though tame for menage.
I cannot say I recommend the book the way it is now but if it is ever re-written so there is 1 or less first person POVs, I would definitely recommend it to menage lovers.

After posting my review on Goodreads.com I was contacted by the author who stated that she appreciated my comments and planned on re-writting the story with only one POV and making a few other changes. That was in February 2015. As of this posting, I have not been contacted again by the author and no re-write has been released to my knowledge. I am a little disappointed about this because she asked that I wait to release my review until I could read the new version and now I am left wondering if she was just saying it to get me to not release my less than favorable review.

I rated this book five stars. I was given this book to read and write a honest review, I have enjoyed every book of Ms. Vale's that I have read. But I am a person who loves reading shifter romance
Wow oh Wow, This is a great read! Everything I have read of Ms. Vale is amazing her books are written with a dose of feel good in the mix. I really enjoy her writing style it always draws you into the storyline and makes her characters easy to fall in love with them. But this storyline just hooks you from the first sentence to the last and nevers let go. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down until I was finished but I so didn't want it to end. So far this has turn into another marvelous book in this series. The potential of this book is certainly great. It's makes you laugh and smile which is the main reason this my kind of series. But all three acted a little strange after the first timed they were together and they revealed they were shifters.
Dane and Jackson are two new Alpha's and they are ready to be mated because they clan thinks that the Alpha that leads the clan should be mated. So they went to Nora and she matches the shifter to their perfect mate.
Sadie is a Vet tech and she has only had horrible time with the guys she has picked to date. Again Nora sets Sadie up with these two awesome looking guys.

This was billed as a bear shifter ménage romance with “steamy and erotic” content. Really? Because I waited 70% into the book for the first sexual encounter and finally the moment arrives only to have it lack warmth, reality, and certainly any erotic overtones. Here’s an example: "Things went pretty quickly from kissing and touching to hands exploring some pretty intimate areas."
"Pretty intimate areas?" Any story featuring a ménage should not be G-rated, it can’t be based on the fact of the ménage alone. Do I need to mention that I don’t want PG-rated? Two hot guys and one BBW should equal sexy and hot. Look, we all know that writing a sex scene, much less erotica, is difficult, but this was like the words were sewn together by a pre-teen who rightfully shouldn’t know what a sex scene is: no depth, no emotion, no descriptions of body colors and tones, heck we don’t know if anyone has hair anywhere or not. And don’t get me started on the fact no one talks about using condoms or discussing STDs or pregnancy. I felt like I was sat down and reading a Harlequin pre-1990s with a shocker of a ménage, which probably still doesn’t happen in Harlequins.

"Pretty intimate areas?" Any story featuring a ménage should not be G-rated, it can’t be based on the fact of the ménage alone. Do I need to mention that I don’t want PG-rated? Two hot guys and one BBW should equal sexy and hot. Look, we all know that writing a sex scene, much less erotica, is difficult, but this was like the words were sewn together by a pre-teen who rightfully shouldn’t know what a sex scene is: no depth, no emotion, no descriptions of body colors and tones, heck we don’t know if anyone has hair anywhere or not. And don’t get me started on the fact no one talks about using condoms or discussing STDs or pregnancy. I felt like I was sat down and reading a Harlequin pre-1990s with a shocker of a ménage, which probably still doesn’t happen in Harlequins.

Wow! I absolutely loved it! Catherine Vale's amazing talent, incredible skill and unique style shine brightly in her latest release, Her Two Bears. Vale never fails to excite, tantalize and entertain her readers while always leaving us satisfied, warm and all fuzzy inside. I love a great paranormal, romantic happily ever after story and Vale is definitely a master at giving her readers just that, in spades! The story is exciting, compelling, romantic, sweet, arousing, sensual and steamy. The dialog is smart and well written. The characters are captivating, engaging, endearing and sexy. Beautiful curvy Sadie is pretty much fed up with the dating scene. She's certainly had more than her fair share of bad encounters and terrible relationships. Her best friend Peyton, seeing Sadie's unhappiness, sets her up on a blind date with not one, but two gorgeous guys - at the same time! Huh? A little unorthodox- maybe - but Sadie decides to go with the flow and live on the wild side, even if it's just for one date. And Sadie doesn't regret it, not for one minute, because her dates, Dane and Jackson, are the two hottest guys she's ever seen! Wowza! Dane and Jackson are both instantly attracted to the sexy Sadie and they want her, badly, and at the same time! What? Yep, they are co-alphas of their clan and they want her as their mate. This book is perfect for those who like something light and easy when it comes to a mfm menage. For those who prefer a read with a lot more sustenance and character development it may not be as appealing.
I entered into this Catherine Vale book with a lot of hopes. But I think I need to stick with more of the contemporary type menage. PNR, the category in which this falls, needs a lot of imagination and acceptance of extraordinary things. But trying to condition myself to the fact that a pair of Alpha shifters, who rule over one Clan, also need to share a Mate? That kind of pushed it for me.
The heroine, Sadie, was much too accepting for my liking. She had explained her serial string of bad romances and personal insecurities. Then along came the bear shifters, Jackson and Dane, and suddenly she loses all her inhibitions. Hmm, okay I can work with it. But the deal breaker was how soft and pliant the male leads were.
What I'm saying is, I love character development. This, unfortunately, didn't really have me. The romance was okay, maybe not something that I will keenly remember after this review, but it was half decent. So I waited for the raunchy stuff to begin. I'm a perv - sue me! However that too left me feeling confused, and not in a good way.
Would this book stop me from reading more of Catherine Vale's work? Probably not. I actually plan on reading The Wolves Next Door when my reading challenges have an opening.

She talks to her friend about it who convinces her it's not necessarily a bad thing. When she meets Jackson & Dane she's a little shocked that actually she likes them both equally. So over the next few weeks she gets to know them and comes round to the idea that they want a menage relationship. But it all changes when they go camping and they reveal a secret. Some things are really hard to get your head around and she completely shuts down. With a little help from her friend and a little time out she realises there are far worse things than having a relationship with two men who shift into big bears.
I love a menage story especially when it has bear shifters in it. I loved the characters, Jackson & Dane who were the alpha males but really sweet as well and Sadie strong but vulnerable. I really enjoyed the storyline which ran smoothly from start to finish, which is important to me as I don't like the meeting of mates to be rushed there is nothing worse. There were however some grammatical errors and repetiveness in places but saying that I still loved it and I definitely recommend it!

Poor Sadie hasn’t had the best of luck in the love department and has pretty much given up on finding the perfect man. With a push from her friend Peyton she takes a huge leap and decides dating two men might be better than one. The only problem, our mouth-watering heroes are bear shifters. Dane and Jackson have recently become joint alphas of their pack and are looking for a woman who is perfect for both of them. Are they a match? Is dating two men more than Sadie can handle or is dating two bear shifters too much? You’ll have to get the book to see. I guarantee if shifter romance is your thing, you’ll love this series.
Vale mixes just the right amount of love, sex, and humor into the book. I always enjoy when an author can make me feel like I really “know” the characters, what makes them tick, what makes them laugh, their fears and insecurities. And she keeps you on the edge of your seat reading about the trials and tribulations of a conservative human dating two wild shifters. This book was a real joy to read. What a great start to a new series, I can’t wait to read the next one to see what Vale comes up with next.

I was looking for sexy shifter romance, and although I've read a lot of werewolves and big cats, I had never considered bears before. This book doesn't disappoint in that regard, because you get two of them. The heroine is down-to-earth and likeable, and it doesn't take long for this book to get directly to the point.
The sex isn't explicit (which made me a little sad), but I enjoyed myself as they enjoyed themselves. If you get what I'm saying. *cough*
My two wishes were: 1. that it was a little longer so that we could see Sadie meet the Clan (Because who doesn't want to see bears drinking beer?!) and 2. That there was a little more character backstory. I just needed a little more depth to really get wrapped up in the grizzly goodness. Which brings up another question for me (as a hiker). Were they black bears or grizzlies?
I digress.
This is a good read for to-the-point shifter erotica with enjoyable, sexy characters who are most definitely masturbatory material. And that's a high compliment coming from me. Heh.

Oh this is an amazing book!. You will fall in love with these super sexy Bear shifters!. Sadie is about to have every woman's dream. She has a blind date with two sexy men at the same time. Dane and Jackson are best friends who are Bear shifters they are also Alphas of their Bear clan. Now that they are Alphas they need to find a mate to share. Alex their werewolf friend believes he has the perfect woman for them. Alex's girlfriend's best friend Sadie. So he sets Sadie up with a blind date with them. Sadie does not know what to think of this off the wall set up lol. She can not figure out how two best friends would want to date one woman. But she feels she hit the jack pot when she meets these two sexy cops Dane and Jackson!. Dane and Jackson want Sadie for their mate but how do they explain they want her together and not only that , but that they are Bear shifters!. This is one of those books you do not want to end!. It is funny,Sweet and charming. This is a must must read book!

For me I loved this read. Sadie who hasn't had any luck in the love department agrees to go on a blind date with not one guy but two. Jackson and Dane are to Alfa bear shifters looking for a mate to share Who agree with Alex their best friend to go on a date with Sadie.
