Simone is the girlfriend to Calvin, one of the biggest drug dealers in Miami Florida. Losing her parents taught her that she should never get too comfortable with any situation. So, falling head over heels in love with Calvin and playing the fool for many years, has her questioning if she was ever worthy of genuinely being loved.

I loved this book! It grabbed my attention from the beginning. I'm still thinking about the ending. Can't wait to see what happens in part 2!

broken trust, deception
some many sheep in wolf clothing. How do you call your self a friend, but just betraying them. Jasmine is pitiful and has no respect for herself, the things she did for her husband or to try and teach him a lesson. Calvin not worth nothing, and Simone need to stop looking back. amira playing with fire

This book has some slow or lackluster points.
I really thought this book was going to be great and would have been looking forward to sequels. I will look up some of this authors books to see if any are better.

I gave it 4 stars because of the errors and name mix ups but it was still a good book. I was glad Simone wised up after learning about everything she put up with throughout her relationship with Calvin. I didn't agree with her night after the club but some things you just have to learn from. Calvin was trifling and I was mad he thought Simone should continue as if things were good. Now Tevin has to be one dumb dude!!! No matter how many things were right in front in him, it seemed as if he truly was clueless. Really Jaz and Amira??!! Both of them were down right dirty. Apparently their love wasn't as deep for Simone as it should have been. Amira was wrong and her dream may actually become reality. I feel for poor Jamal! Jay and Kenny were wrong and I can't wait until they get what they deserve. The situations were too funny and with that ending I can most definitely say it's about to get real. I can't wait to see the side that has been lying dormant within Simone. I'm just curious if all those she deeply loved are ready for the consequences for not being loyal. Will Amira try to lie her way out of her situation to keep from losing her boo, how long has Calvin's mishap been going on, what will Tevin do once finding out what those closest have done, does Jaz have any hidden motives that she hasn't mentioned, is Jamal ready to keep it real with Simone, will Jay and Kenny's plans backfire after that ending, and just how many problems will Simone cause after everything she's learned??!! Now Johnazia I need part 2 asap!!!

Although I really enjoyed the book I couldn't give it the five stars because I felt like Simone was just way to naive. Calvin dogged her for years and she just continued to play the stupid role knowing that he way cheating. I mean I felt bad for her but come on, she couldn't even really stick to her guns when she "broke it off with him". Amira and Jasmine were wrong for lying. Jasmine was a sorry excuse for a women and mother. She was way too worried about who's bed she could be in. Amira learned the hard way that everything done in the dark comes to the light. Simone and Jasmine were dumb to feed into the foolishness that Jay and Kenny were talking. It was hilarious reading about te fights though Simone is a beast lol.

Drama out the gate but a good read. Calvin can't seem to stay faithful to Simone and giving her a std broke them up for good. Simone,amira,and jazmine all have secrets and issues. Calvin an tevin didn't appreciate their women so when Simone and jaz get new ones who turn out to be snakes they try to set them up. Amira taking a chance with a relationship but is secretly having an affair that will have you on edge. Calvin now at war with his best friend has to take care of his sisters. Simone tired of being lied to is out for blood,can't wait for part 2

This is was my first read from this author. I enjoyed the storyline. However, I felt the book got a little slow midway through. I'm totally shocked at all the deceit. You really can't trust as easy. Favorite character in this book definitely is Jamal. He too smooth and funny. I look forward to reading part 2.

Everything I've read from this author has been on point and this book definitely delivered. That ending had me wanting more. Calvin a fuck boy and Jaz is such a hoe. I hope part 2 is just as good.

Pretty good
Pretty good read. I couldn't get with the ending. What a cliffhanger ending. The characters were interesting, not surprised that there were a few snakes.

Good book. A few errors, but I could understand what they ment. Calvin a dirty dog. So is Jasmine. I hope in part 2 they get what's coming to them.
