This was a good book to read since we plan to go to Croatia on a tour. Croatia like anywhere in Europe has a lot of quaint old architecture. It has a long sea coast yet an interior portion. Croation is the language that they speak. They border the Adriatic Sea which is the same as Italy to the south and west. The country dates back to about 700 AD. They have a basketball star there who was Kresimir Cosic. He played in America at BYU. I saw some of his games on TV and he was very entertaining. The capital is Zagreb. They were involved in a war in the early 1990's after Yugoslavia broke into pieces.
