I read this through with my 7 year old. We didn’t realise it was part of a series when we came across it, but will now be seeking out book 1.

It tells the tale of a retiring spy-dog investigating one last case to prove to her children she’s still got it. And the case leads to snot powered weather control, obviously.

High concept it isn’t, but a really enjoyable read for the target audience.
