Cain: A Billionaire Fake Marriage Romance

Rate this book
One reckless night in Manhattan might destroy everything.
Because when you’re born into the Stone empire, every mistake becomes leverage.

Greer Worthington is the daughter of the one man powerful enough to make it crumble.

We can’t stand each other.

Which made the night we spent together even more dangerous.

Too much tension. Too much whiskey. One mistake we can’t take back.

Now she’s pregnant.

And her father will destroy my family’s company if I don't step up.

So we make a deal.

A fake engagement. A temporary marriage. Nine months of pretending we belong together.

She moves into my house in New Orleans.

Into my life. Into my bed.

We both know this ends after the baby is born.

But every day we pretend to be in love…

I start wanting the one thing I never planned to keep.

Her.

Cain by Blakely Stone was such an addictive billionaire romance filled with tension, secrets, drama, & chemistry ❤️‍🔥 From the very beginning, the story pulls you straight into Cain & Greer’s chaotic situation, & once the fake marriage, surprise pregnancy, & workplace tension started colliding, I could not stop reading.

Cain is the definition of a control-freak billionaire MMC 😮‍💨 He spends his life traveling the world closing billion-dollar deals & keeping the Stone empire running smoothly. Control is everything to him… until Greer completely throws his world off balance. After one reckless night together in Manhattan, the last thing he expects is for her to walk into his company as the woman he just hired — or for their one-night stand to suddenly become much more complicated.

And Greer ❤️ I really liked her character. She’s intelligent, driven, & fully aware that working in a male-dominated business world means constantly having to prove herself. So many people assume she only has her position because of who her father is, but Greer knows exactly what she’s doing & refuses to let anyone underestimate her. I loved that she challenged Cain instead of simply giving in to his control issues.

The chemistry between these two was SO good 🔥 The tension from their anonymous one-night stand mixed with the forced professionalism at work created so many emotionally charged moments. Adding the surprise pregnancy & fake marriage arrangement on top of that only made the tension even better 😮‍💨 Watching them go from “this is temporary” to slowly blurring the lines between fake & real feelings was one of my favorite parts of the story.

I also really enjoyed the forced proximity aspect once Greer moves into Cain’s home in New Orleans. Sharing a house, pretending to be happily engaged, & constantly fighting their attraction created so much tension throughout the book. Underneath all of Cain’s need for control though, you slowly start seeing how deeply he cares for Greer, even before he fully admits it to himself.

The story balanced emotional moments, drama, steam, & family pressure really well, which kept the pacing engaging from beginning to end. Between the fake relationship dynamics, billionaire family drama, emotional tension, & possessive MMC energy, this was such a fun romance to binge.

Overall, Cain was a steamy, drama-filled billionaire romance with strong chemistry, emotional tension, & two characters who constantly pushed against each other while slowly falling harder than either of them planned ❤️‍🔥 If you love fake marriage romances, surprise pregnancy tropes, workplace tension, billionaire MMCs, & forced proximity with lots of steam, this one is definitely worth checking out ✨

Cain
This is book 4 of the Stone Legacy series and oh boy was it amazing. It starts out all hot and heavy and then fizzles out. I wasn’t sure I was going to get the hea I was hoping for but in true Blakely form she delivered.

Cain is everything you want in a book boyfriend, too handsome for his own good, strong, a protector, wealthy, and of course great in the bedroom department. 🤪 On a business trip in NYC he meets a woman in hotel bar and things get hot and heavy. But she is gone before he wakes up the next morning. Never knowing her full name or getting a phone number. Life goes on like normal until she shows up as a new employee. But that’s not the only bombshell that gets dropped.

Greer has worked her whole life to life outside her father’s name and shadow. She wants nothing more than to make a name for herself outside people’s judgement that daddy does everything for her (which couldn’t be further from the truth). But after she leaves her job and is feeling dejected she asks him to help. Little does she know, the man she is sent to work for is none other than her hot one night dalliance.

Blakely Stone has a way of pulling you into the story and making it feel like you’re the person in the room. I felt every emotion with this book. Hot and heavy during smexy time, excited when they decided to get together (even though it was “fake” marriage), devastated when everything fell apart, and by the epilogue I was over the moon with how it all turned out.

I love a good love story, and Blakely does it extremely well. If you’re looking for a new author, check her out!.

Cain has control issues. He works hard at his family's company. He travels the the world for the company to close billion dollar deals.
Greer knows that working in a mans world that life would never be easy even if she was and is smarter than they are. They believe she's never earned her position because of who her father is, never mind the fact that she is very knowledgeable on what she does for a career.
Cain hires Greer not knowing who she was. they had a one night stand where they only gave their first names only. They agreed that there will be no repeat of the past, they are strictly going to be professional s now that they work together.
Greer has a secret that no one knows. Cain is still thinking of her in a very unprofessional way.

Cain And Greer were great from the beginning, they were both savvy business people in their own right, they had chemistry and they were both making a name for themselves in the same field. When Greer gets hired on at Cain's family company, neither knew that she was going to be working for the one night stand from NY... and what a night it was!

When they meet up in New Orleans, their relationship gets even hotter. I loved this couple and couldn't put the book down. Cain was a good man and that came through loud and clear when he stands up for Greer in the end.

I LOVED this book and can't wait to read the remaining brother's books!.

-A steamy billionaire romance filled with drama, secrets, and intense chemistry. I received a free copy and am voluntarily sharing my honest thoughts.
Cain and Greer’s one-night stand turns complicated when they meet again at work, with a surprise pregnancy and fake marriage raising the stakes even higher.
The story keeps the pages turning with strong characters, emotional tension, and plenty of passion from beginning to end. A captivating and addictive romance.

From the first page to the last, I was completely invested in Cain and Greer. Their story drew me in and didn’t let go. Funny, sad, romantic or simply hot, this book has it all. All my favorite tropes: one night stand, unexpected pregnancy, fake marriage, this book has them all exception much better than what you’ve seen before. This is the first book of this series I have read and can’t wait to go back and read the others.

This is Book 4 in The Stone Legacy Series by this author, and can be read as a standalone. It is a steamy romance between Cain and Greer. These two flawed but likeable souls and the unique plot make for an interesting read. What starts out as a one night stand turns into something more. It is a love story with drama and steam, sexual tension and chemistry, and twists and turns, plus appealing secondary characters. An emotional page turner.

They meet at a bar that leads to an intimate night. Greer thought that would be the end of it until they reconnected when he becomes her boss and their path really begins. It is filled with high stakes drama, a surprise baby and compelling characters that kept me engaged with this story from start to finish.

I really live this series with the New Orleans vibe. I love the way the author weaves in a bit of history into the story line. It makes the reader feel like they are there with Caine and Greer. Their story is full of angst and conflict. It takes them a while to come to their HEA by determining what is fake and what is real. This is a book that I will read again in the w.

It’s Magic
Cain and Greer. One sultry, steamy night that changed their lives without them knowing it. Is it magic that pulls them together? This is New Orleans after all. Because even when they fight it, the pull is just too strong to resist. So why even try!
