How to Make an Awesome Mind Palace: A Crash Course to a Better Memory

Rate this book
This is a short 8-page crash course on the basics of how to make a mind palace. I am a former student of psychology from Northwestern University, and I have successfully used the mind palace to improve my memory greatly. All of the techniques that I discuss here are accurately based in mainstream psychology, and written to be easy and accessible to anyone. This is not a doctor's treatise—I am someone who is especially knowledgeable of mind palaces through academic studies and personal experience.

Short and Sweet

Very useful and effective overview of the mind palace memory method. Does not attempt to describe the universe of the method but does a good job with what it does do.

Short crisp and to the point

A good, fun read to reaffirm if you already know about mind palaces. If not you should go for elaborate books first and then come to this.

Quick read

Very short sweet and to the point. I like his description of his palace and little helpful hint to make it seem real.

Not worth reading

The book is very short (11) pages. Of the 11 about 9 a
Seem to have been spent on one example of how it works.

This book is a great intro for anyone who wants to learn what a mind palace is and it's basics. For someone like me who was looking for more techniques and tricks to help create a mind palace, I would say to look elsewhere. Overall this is a great book and a quick read.

A very quick read - 10 minutes? - and a very basic introduction to the art of creating a mind palace. You could probably get the information in this book from a quick Google search. Not badly written, just not a lot of detail or different methods, etc.

A good quick overview of using mind palaces to improve your memory

This more of an overview than a crash course. I think I need to read some more before I would jump into this. But it is an excellent overview that gives you a strong understanding of the concept.

Helpful guide

This is a short and sweet guide. It is helpful advice but not rambling on how to make your own mind palace.

A good book for beginners who aren't familiar with the concept. It was a good intro into the subject, but very basic and nothing you couldn't learn with a few Google searches. It could have gone into much greater detail and still served its purpose as an introduction.
