Amazing book on Jewish history told from the mythological perspective, MUST READ if you want to understand how Orthodox Jews see their history

Great streamlined narrative and easy understanding of early Jewish history. Although the biases toward traditional Jewish sources is clearly stated at the beginning of the book, it was still a bit too frum for me: the author inserts his own hashkafa.
