Cassie Wilder had a simple plan for what to do in Key West the second time around.
Testify at the trial of the rapist she helped catch last year.
Make sure he gets locked away for the rest of his natural life, so he can never, ever hurt another girl.
Wait for her BFFs to get to town, so they can celebrate.
And stay far away from Ty Connor, because three months after breaking up with him, she still doesn’t know whether being with him is worse than being without him.
Spring Break, take two.
All of the above? Out the window.
Turns out testifying is a lot harder than she thought it would be.
Not only is the rapist she helped catch last year not locked away for the rest of his life, he’s on the loose and looking for her.
Oh yeah, and it’s definitely harder being without Ty than being with him, especially when she has to watch him with someone else.

Finding You by Jenna Bennett is the follow up to Before You and chronicles the tale of Cassie and Ty.
One year later, Cassie is back in the Key West to give out her testimony against a rapist. But this time, Cassie is back in the Key West alone. Ty and Cassie broke up, due to the fact that Cassie couldn't handle the what if scenarios of Ty's job. She hates that she would be always wondering if he is safe or alive. Though they both still love each other, Ty's career was always standing in their way. Back in Key West, the rapist that Cassie is testifying against is on the loose and is looking for her. So with her life in danger, Ty will stop at nothing to make sure Cassie is safe? Will Cassie and Ty be able to rekindle their relationship? Or will his job be too much for her to handle?
I enjoyed this book quite a bit but it did get me frustrated with the epilogue. The buildup of Cassie and Ty together again and then to read that epilogue I wanted and needed more. Overall, the book had great writing and storytelling but I wished it had Ty's POV on his take on the relationship.
This was the last installment book that I read in the latest Sex on the Beach Trilogy and I found myself intrigued by the continuation of Ty and Cassie's story but not satisfied with the rushed ending. After spending money on all of the second books I was most disappointed in the ending of this one. There was no bow and that bothered me. Cassie went back to Key West to testify at the trial and Ty was there to testify and consult also. We find out early on in the book where their relationship stands and then are left trying to figure out how Ty feels. I never really got an answer because we were never even given much of a glimpse of his POV. There were plot twists and turns and the story itself was good but there was nothing romantic about how Ty and Cassie interacted throughout the whole book and what is the point in buying a romance book (that is part of a trilogy no less) that isn't going to at least show you how they really feel about each other. Was disappointed in that aspect. I don't need flowers and roses, but some interaction between the characters that showed a glimpse of their love, devotion or plans for the future would have gone a long way in making this a better book. We get an epilogue that was flat and although there is a brief snippet of how they have spent the days in-between the ending of the trial and being at the bar, we don't get a glimpse into what they discussed, how Ty feels and what the whole situation with Carmen was.
FINDING YOU was exactly what I expected and I loved it! Ty and Cassie had a bit of an unconventional love story and I think that is one of the reasons I loved it so much. Last Spring Break, there was a serial rapist on the loose and Carrie was caught in the crossfire. Lucky for her, she met a guy and struck up a friendship with the sexy Ty Connor, who just happened to be undercover trying to catch the bad guy. In this story, we see the aftermath and trail which brings these two back together again. I felt like this story was genuine. The fears and emotions that Carrie has are very valid and realistic. It isn’t all rainbows and butterflies. It is real without being hopeless, something that many books are lacking these days. Ty and Cassie’s personalities click very well. They are open, honest, and great talkers. Carrie wears her emotions on her sleeve and Ty loves her enough to see what she wants and needs, always able to act on those cues. The element of suspense and drama in this story is what sets it apart from the other SOTB novellas. It is a story that focuses on a situation and not just a romantic connection. The trail and aftermath are central to this story and we see Ty and Cassie work through some heart issues along the way. I loved seeing all the familiar faces from BEFORE YOU. I loved the Fuentes family and then familiarity of the places we see. Unlike the other stories in the second part of the SEX ON THE BEACH series, this story takes place in Key West only. It brought back our two main characters and created space for them to reconnect and make the tough decisions. Their ending was perfect for who they are as a couple. I loved their devotion to each other despite the fact they were not always together. Their heart connection is genuine and their love was real. This might be my favorite of all three but they are all so perfect you cannot really compare.
This was an action and suspense packed story! I love how Jenna kept you guessing at how this was all going to play out. Jenna threw a little bit of romance in there and made this a really great story.
Cassie and Ty met in Key West the previous year when Cassie was there on Spring Break and Ty was there as an undercover agent working on a case. Cassie ended up falling prey to a rapist that Ty and his team were out to catch and so she became a key witness in this case. Cassie and Ty fell in love and Ty ended up moving back to Chicago with Cassie to see how things worked out for them as a couple. Cassie became a worry wart over Ty being gone and unable to contact her while working on different cases in different places away from her and broke things off with Ty.
Cassie never quits thinking about Ty and when she has to go to court in Key West a week before Spring Break the current year, she wonders how Ty will act towards her. The first time that Cassie sees Ty, he seems to have moved on and is giving all his attention to Carmen, a looker from last year as well. Cassie is still feeling possessive but she reminds herself that she was the one to bail on their relationship because of Ty's job.
The court hearing gets under way and there are several turn of events that cause Ty to pay close attention to Cassie and even go out of his way to protect her. Both of them suddenly realize that the feelings they had for each other are still there and decide to see if they can make things work. Jenna drug you along though because I was unsure myself if these two were going to be able to rekindle their relationship. I am so glad this story ended in a HEA. Thanks for a great read Jenna!!!
LOVED IT! Last year Cassie Wilder had a really unexpected spring break in Key West; she helped FBI agent Ty Connor and the local police capture a serial rapist. Jenna Bennett provides edge of your seat writing when Cassier return to the island to testify as one of the few survivors who can remember anything about the attack. The tension in her relationships and the tension from the case ties the reader to page after page. Plan on reading this one in a single sitting. Note that there is extreme danger and violence but nothing is described graphically just heart-poundingly.
She and Connor were together for six months but her fears of losing him in his job as an undercover agent put too much stress on the relationship so they broke up but now she has to face the man she loves again. Facing the trial and the rapist in court is hard enough but when he manages to escape the danger amps up. Cassie hopes that he will do the smart thing and head out but she fears that he will come for her, and although he didn't manage to hurt her badly before, she is well aware of what he is capable of even before he murders his victims. Note that there is danger an violence but nothing is described graphically.
FINDING YOU by Jenna Bennett is the follow up to Before you, another book in Sex on the Beach series.
A year later we are finding ourselves back in Key West for the trial of the rapist that was terrorizing Key West. Cassie is back to testify and Ty is back for the trial as well. Too bad they are not back together as a couple. Cassie and Ty broke up a few months back because Cassie couldn't take Ty's undercover work anymore. It was too much for her to worry where he was and if he was OK all the time.
Cassie still loves and misses Ty. She knows she is being selfish by letting him go. Ty on the other hand, seems to have moved on. Cassie sees him around town with a new girl.
Being back in Key West has been hard enough for Cassie. Being there without Ty, now with the trial and her upcoming testimony, she is a mess. Add to the fact, the raspiest has now escaped from custody, it had thrown Cassie for a loop.
Ty being the stand up guy he is, will not leave Cassie's side. He is going to protect her no matter what.
Can the couple rekindle their love back at the place they first met?
Finding You was so addictive that I read it in one sitting. I loved the mystery aspect in this book, and I think it was made better by the fact that I read the first book before reading this one. While this book could be read without reading the first, I feel that reading Before You really enhanced this story. Ty and Cassie broke up between where the last story left off and where this one began, but they were forced together when the man whose trial they both have to testify at escapes police custody. Ty once again had to protect Cassie from him and it helped Cassie realize that regardless of if she was with Ty, she would always worry about him because she loved him. I can't wait for the third and final book in this trilogy to come out. I highly recommend this one and give it 5 stars.
*I was given an ARC by the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
I enjoyed this book as much as I liked book one. It was short, sweet, suspenseful, and to the point. This is a continuation of Ty and Cassie's story. Cassie and Ty are no longer together. Cassie couldn't take the pressures of being a girlfriend to an undercover agent. Now she is back to testify at the trial. She hasn't seen Ty in a while. She still loves him but soon realizes everything is not the same. It looks as if Ty has moved on... or has he? s things heat up in Key West and a madman is on the loose... again. Will Ty be able to keep Cassie safe again? Will these two find a way back into each other's arms?? I loved the chemistry between Cassie and Ty. I am keeping my fingers crossed for one more installment to this series. I recommend this series.
When I read Before Me, it was an all right read. It wasn't my favorite between first three books. So, I was a little worry and didn't know what to expected with Finding You. I must say that I enjoyed Cassie and Ty's story. However, I will say this again, I wish We got hear Ty's side of the story. Finding You is still a good read, but I think it would have been better if you got Ty's side. I liked the fact that we had the bad guy escaping and wanting to capture Cassie and finish what he wanted to do. It add to the danger. Ending wasn't a true happy ending, but kind of happy for now ending. Overall, it was a pretty good quick read. I think that if you liked Before Me, you will enjoy Finding You.
Cassie and Ty! Yep, this is the one I liked the most. I was so intrigued by the back story of these two. Not only did they have chemistry, but they had a true suspenseful story that could easily have been expanded and made into a full novel. I mean the trial and what had happened and what ends up happening in the trial itself was just a true page turner. I could not put it down when I started this one. I felt their ultimate ending was a little rushed but yet it was not the truly happily ever after as one might want. I felt that it was the right ending though for the characters and it was happy (no true spoilers - that drives me nuts). Overall, I gave this one a 4 star rating as I really liked this portion of the triology!!
I feel like this book is the perfect story for those who prefer the realistic stories. Where it isn't all fairy tale endings and love and first sights. It feels like what a relationship in the real world would seem like. That sometimes couples break up not because someone was unfaithful or stopped loving each other but because sometimes love just isn't enough. And I loved the ending, like there were no promises of forever. They just have to take it one day at a time and that's what I love about this book
As a continuation, this was a good book. It didn't really exceed my expectations, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I like Cassie's story, although I feel like there wasn't enough in this book to make me root for her and Ty. It has a good ending, even if it personally left me wanting more. I am sure that fans of Cassie and Ty will love the ending anyway.
It was ok. Not as fun or interesting as the Savannah Martin series. This was the sequel to Bennett's first Sex on the Beach novel. Cassie has regurned to Key West for Stan's trial. She meets Ty again while there and realizes the sparks as hot as ever. A very quick read.
