This book will turn everything your thought you knew about World War 2 upside down. You thought Britain defeated the Luftwaffe in the battle of Britian because of the RAF and Winston Churchill

Wrong!!!!!

Britian won the battle of Britian because it could build more aircraft and train more pilots than Germany, but 1941 it was out building Germany by at least 2 to 1 in all main areas of weaponry.

The aircraft factories, the ammunition plants, the dockyards that achieved this astonishing out were laid down in the 1930's. The main ammunition factory in the UK, Bishopton was authorized and funded in 1936 - it did not come into full operation until 1940.

The weapons and the factories that won WWII were authorised, built and designed by Neville Chamberlain as both Chancellor and Prime Minister.

So this is a book about the construction and development of Britains war industry in the years leading up to WWII. . . . and its Neville Chamberlain 'the appeaser' and his insistence that air defence should take priority that had all the necessary factories in place when the war started.

This book will change your ideas about WWII
