As someone who has been falling in love with reading more and more, this is an absolute must read! It’s cute, it’s complex, it’s smutty, it’s emotional, it’s perfect!

It’s got the suspense of a will they/wont they, the passion of raw unfiltered emotions, and the spice of a ghost pepper to satisfy every MW and MM spice fan!

Andy your a star takes the pining that people have grown to love from Heated Rivalry and plops that same level of yearning to a small college town open mic musician and his hot local bar tender. A complicated timeline involving messy exes, current partners, and a roller coaster of acceptance, this is a must read you don’t want to miss!

An absolute joy to read! I was smiling, crying, and kicking my feet by the end. The characters and their struggles are well thought out and developed. And the story moves at a good pace. I relate to Andy's thoughts and actions so much through much of the book.

Overall, a beautiful romance story. And the spicy scenes were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. This is one I will definitely re-read again and again.

I received this ARC for my honest opinion. Andy, You're a Star by Britney Mitchell was an amazing read. It’s a complex relationships, growth of humans and learning that people change even if they are resistant to it. It has a lot of suspense and yearning with raw unfiltered emotion while navigating who someone is as a person.

Andy, You're a Star, is a book that shows that Andy and Doni grow along the journey together. Yes, its messy. Yes, its complicated. Yes, it's emotional. That is all part of the human experience and shows that. The ability to go through and experience life in all its glory through the mess and hurt is something that inevitably happens for everyone. I highly recommend reading!

Young love.

Been there, done that it was like I was reading about me( not the rock star part) but we've all fancy that person we weren't meant to.

Great story, managed to get in the characters straight away.

The only thing that bothered me was they were all stammered through out the book.

This truly is a story that is very real for a lot of people. Andy is just a normal guy trying to navigate the craziness of life while also trying to figure himself out. Things get crazy, things get sweet, things get spicy, and things get sad- but things work out in the end for the best. I greatly enjoyed following Andy's journey and the authors writing, I can't wait to see what comes next from this author.

Andy, You're A Star is the perfect blend of sweet & spicy, with a few "How could you!?" moments thrown into the mix. My heart laughed, broke & fell in love alongside Andy & Doni (and all those involved). I got so wrapped into their love story & the other side characters (Please tell me we're getting more from them in the future!!) that I forgot Andy still had his dreams of being a rockstar to fulfill!

You can tell how much passion & vulnerability Britney Mitchell poured into Andy, You're A Star, and I can't wait to see what they release next!

Omg. What a FUN read. It’s been a while since I devoured a book this quickly. This story was filled with the type of drama that isn’t there for no reason, but lets you piece together who the characters really are in a way that will keep you turning pages from beginning to end.
The bi awakening trope in this story was handled beautifully, and I loved that we got to see the realest parts of how Andy handled a new queer relationship, dealing with his career and family in the process. It felt REAL.
and, the spice in this story was such a bonus;)

I will be the first in line to read Britney’s next book!!!

I finished the book and oh my god this book…. Is incredible it had me on an emotional rollercoaster ride and it had me go HOT DAMN it made me cry it made me kick my feet and giggle, it made me GASP! It’s an amazing read and now I’m grieving cause I finished it and i love these boys so much! And Cynthia and Darren 😭❤️ I am a sucker for the double happy ending Britney you made an amazing book thanks for this MASTERPIECE!
The storyline had me hooked from beginning to end if I never MADE A THREADS ACCOUNT I WOULD Have NEVER HEARD OF THIS AND IM SO GLAD I DID I WILL LOVE THIS BOOK FOREVER! she had me love the mmc girlfriend which I usually don’t when I read mm romance books and I rooted for all parties to be happy! The spice was SPICING 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 it’s sweet it’s spicy what’s not to love READ THIS BOOK YOU WILL LOVE IT!

I'm so beyond proud of the author. I've seen her grow so much over the years I've known her online. But this wasn't for me. When the cheating happened, I knew I wasn't going to have the best time.
This book was short and the insta love was insane. It felt more lusty than anything, for all the characters. I have more thoughts but I have already gotten attitude for my thoughts.
This book just wasn't my cup of tea but I think others will love it! I will support the author in her future endeavors

3.5/5 stars for this cute romcom, which tells the story of Andy, an aspiring musician and Doni, a barman at the local tavern which hosts a weekly open mic night.

Andy is happily in a relationship with Cynthia, but can’t help noticing how objectively hot Doni is. Doni himself is newly single following the break-up of a three-year relationship with Erik - and is harbouring a secret crush on Andy.

When Andy and Cynthia's relationship flounders and they realise they are on different paths in life, Doni and Andy become closer and realise that perhaps they're destined to be more than just friends...

There's not a huge amount of plot to speak of beyond the love story, and the spice factor is relatively light. However, as a straightforward friends-to-lovers romance, this is a light, quick and heartwarming read with cute and likeable main characters. The perfect palate-cleansing read in between heavier books.
