Honor is working on a love potion for a clint(in secret as that kind of magick is outlawed in her world)and if it works she will net enough money to save her home and bar. To add to her problems her friend Jake who she has wanted since the moment they meet 3 years ago is looking at her different. Like he wants her too.
I really loved Honor's character and respect her willing to do anything to save her home even if it breaks the law. I have always loved a rebel. I was laughing so hard when Honor sees Jake drink her potion. I loved Jake who is a hot alpha male with a tragic past. I always love the damaged ones. Jake and Honor's chemistry was hot and so were their scenes together. The writing was wonderful and my only complaint about this book is that it wasn't longer. I loved this world of magick and shifters and can't wait to read the other books in the series.

No denying fate
For three years our heroine has dreamed about our alpha hero, something about him won't let her go. Our hero is torn, the witch is his mate and he has to claim his mate before the next moon, he's just not sure if she wants him. Fate has a funny way of going around interspecies mating, no mater what the rules say.

This is the first book I have read by Talina Perkins and I really enjoyed it. It was a sweet shifter love story, which made me smile and that is always a good thing. The reason I have only given it 4 stars is because it is rather short, more like a novella than an actual book, but that is my only criticism . And I look forward to reading more books by this author. Honor is a witch and owns a local bar. She has had the hots for Jake a shifter and the local alpha for three years basically ever since she met him. Against the witch's law she puts together a love potion for a customer, which accidently gets given to Jake:-) I won't tell you any more as I hate when reviewers spoil the story for other readers.

this is the first book I have read by Talina Perkins. This story has a wolf ,witches,dragons and hot scenes,Harmony is a witch in love with Caden a lone wolf who happens to be the Sheriff. He comes to arrest Harmony for using questionable magic and breaking and entering. Something is going on she was hired to retrieve stolen dragon blood. Caden has become hexed. Can it be reversed? Will Harmony be able to convince Caden that they should mate? I give this a 5 star rating.

I have not laughed like this in a long time !! Jake and Honor's story is hilariously funny as well as oh so sexy hot !! Talina Perkins has managed to combine a paranormal romance with lots of sparky commentary, the perfect short read !! Loved it . 5☆'s I recommend it to anyone who loves their paranormal romance with a side of snark !! I received a gifted copy in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
