I was given an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. I love shifter books and each of these authors brought something different to the table. We got cheetahs, bears, and wolves, oh my! Each book has a different spice level so you're bound to find one to your liking. Great characters who are strong and know what they want. A fantastic collection I recommend!
Awesome sexy stories from the autors in my opinion I think everyone should have this book in their personal library . I guarantee you will be into the books from beginning till end.
Unexpected Diversion by Vella Day The new doctor in town seems like he would be a perfect spring diversion. When looking at her pending nuptials with yucky chucky Chey certainly needs an escape. One last hoorah. Dr. Storm has no idea what hes getting himself into. Story is sweet and sex is hot.
Waking the Bear by Kerry Adrienne two months of "me time" seemed like the perfect plan to regroup and find a direction. Gorgeous park ranger/ landlord/ bear shifter... yeah you know hes gonna be sexy.
Prime Desire by Andie DeVaux Pretending to give someone their dream job is not a great way to start a relationship. Its been three years since their one night together. Will he fight for his mate or let her walk away again. Nick has a whole list of problems but sexy aint one.
Bear Essentials by Lia Davis Lia never disappoints. Witty characters and lively conversations keep you invested in the story of a man who needs to handle claiming his mate carefully or spook her and lose her forever. sweet and sexy story.
Match Made in Hell by Milly Taiden Davi is a daughter of the queen of Hell. Helldate.com is the solution to her declining numbers of supplicants. Matching a fiery tempered secretary and Hot as hell warrior/wolf shifter wont be easy, but they both need laid to loosen up a bit. Love the flow of the story and voyeuristic tendencies of Davi. Cant wait to see who she matches next.
This anthology is full of fantastically original concepts. There is attention to detain in every story. And the authors really crank up the heat. Each story was a joy to read individually, and together, they’re a sure-fire dose of shifters for all those addicts out there.
I don’t think that there was a single character in any of these 5 stories that I didn’t like. The combination of humans and shifters was shockingly brilliant. Each author has their own take on how it works. The melding of the worlds adds that extra layer of realism that really allows you to live the story vicariously through the characters. I’ve also got to say that Taiden’s twist on Hell & its inhabitants was absolutely priceless.
This is one of those anthologies that you’ll buy because you like 1 of the authors, and fall in love with 4 more. Each story is unique in its own way yet leads readers on a magical journey. It’s a must read for all shifter lovers out there.
Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work in exchange for an honest review.
I highly recommend this anthology to everyone!! I enjoyed reading all five of these stories from five outstanding authors who all went above and beyond! I found all five worlds intrigued me in different ways and the characters were very memorable and enjoyable. What a perfect combination of writers giving readers hot and steamy shifter books, and with Spring around the corner (and all this winter weather way too cold) this is an excellent read for those days you need a hot book to warm you up, loved how the book started with Vella Day's book first, I knew she'd bring a hot story out and she brought heck of a story. Lia Davis and Milly Taiden also brought the heat, and I was very pleased with both of the stories they have here. Before reading this, I had not read anything by Kerry Adrienne or Andie Davis, but after reading Spring Fever, I am now a fan of these two ladies as well!! I adored them all, 5 stars!!!
My review of each story is in the order of my most favorite to least favorite and not in the order they come in the book.
1. Match Made in Hell by Milly Taiden Laura Nieves is the personal assistant to Davi, who is in charge of the seventh circle of Hell, which is the level of gluttony. In a matchmaking scheme, Davi puts Laura in charge of finding a mate for her head guard, Damien Wrath. Damien is a shifter who has stayed loyal to the memory of the wife that he died for and wants nothing to do with Davi's matchmaking...until he meets Laura. This story cracked me up, Laura has a kind of defiant shy innocence about her, until she loses her temper and Damien is a dominant, dirty talking, confident male. The way they interact with each other is nothing short of hilarious, especially when Davi, who is determined to match them together whether they like it or not, is around to add fuel to the fire. This was actually the last story in the book and by far my favorite out of the five, you can't go wrong reading anything Milly Taiden writes.
2. Bear Essentials by Lia Davis Nichole has been dumped by her jerk of a boyfriend who also got her fired from her job. She down in the dumps and trying to gain back some confidence in her large curvy self. While drinking coffee and looking at job ads at her friend bakery/cafe, Nichole is approached by a big sexy guy who wants to go out with her. Trey is the brother of the friend who owns the bakery and is a bear shifter. Trey knows Nichole is his mate but he has to prove to her that he loves her for who she is, curves and all. This was short but hot and sweet, Trey spoils Nichole with attention and care until she can't do anything else but believe that she is his world and that their love for each other will last a lifetime.
3. Prime Desire by Andie Devaux Nicholas saves Evie's life on night in the mountains of northern Colorado and takes her back to his cabin were they have one amazing night together. After losing controlling and biting her during sex, claiming her as his mate and shifting into his weretiger form, Evie runs back to her home a few hours away. Three years later, Evie is offered her dream of photographing rare snow foxes in the same area she almost lost her life. She is given a guide to help her find the fox and the guide turns out to be none other than Nicholas. He's spent the last three years gaining control over his tiger so he can be safe to claim his mate. This story was sweet, Nicholas is always conscious of Evie's well being and always trying to take care of her. Evie doesn't want to be charmed or taken care of by Nicholas, but can't seem to stop herself from enjoying his attention.
4. An Unexpected Diversion by Vella Day Cheyenne Snow is a cheetah shifter and daughter to the alpha. Her father is ready to step down as alpha and as his only child, she has to find a mate, so he can step up and rule the clan. She is given an ultimatum; find a mate in four months or she has to mate with Chuck Lord, the scummiest bastard in their clan. She and her best friend go to the local bar to drink away her sorrows when new to town and the sexiest man she's ever seen walks in. Storm Durant is the new doctor in town and 100% human and off limits since a human can't be an alpha of a clan. They are immediately drawn to each other and have a whirlwind affair that's doomed from the start... Or is it? I enjoyed this story, it was a bit faster paced then I usually like but the plot line was strong enough to carry it.
5. Waking the Bear by Kerry Adrienne Amy Francis rents a small cabin in the mountains to paint and figure out what to do with her life after she loses her job and dumps her worthless boyfriend. Griff is her landlord and a bear shifter who recognizes that she is his mate. He is afraid to claim her right away and put her in danger since a nearby mountain lion pack is encroaching on their territory and planning to attack the bear clan in order to gain their land. Amy ends up in danger from the mountain lions anyway and Griff has to fight to keep her safe. This story ended kind of abruptly, I'm not sure if there will eventually be more or if that was it. I haven't read this author before, so I don't know if there are other books in this series or if this is a stand alone but I felt like I didn't have all the background information. It didn't make the story hard to read but I felt like I was missing part of the story, it was still a pretty good story.
An Unexpected Diversion by Vella Day: I loved this one! I found a new favorite author in Vella Day. The characters just jumped off the pages. I fell for Storm right along with Chey. He's dominate, alpha, and just sexy as hell! The chemistry between the two just burned up the pages. I really liked Chey too. She's feisty and a lot of fun. She had me cracking up. The plan her dad had cooked up too was kind of ingenious. This was a very fun and sweet read. And OMG SEXY!
Waking the Bear by Kerry Adrienne: This one was a littler slower paced for me but I still enjoyed it. It was sweet and had a little bit of suspense thrown in. I really liked Griff. He has a playfulness and grumpiness to him that is endearing. Amy's trying to have a little me time and figure out her life when she meets Griff then ends up finding out about shifters and being his mate. I liked her though she handled everything better than I would have. I wish that there would have been a bit more to the story. There was talks of a sort of war between these 2 packs but it just sort of left everything open. I hope the author decides to write more book in this world or even with this couple.
Prime Desire by Andie Devaux: Not my favorite of the bundle but I still enjoyed this one. I really liked Nicolas but I didn't like how he lied to Evie to get her to come back to the mountain. I can understand his reasoning's but lying isn't something that endears me to someone. Evie and Nick were really cute together. I just wish that the author had written the part where they actually met. I think it would have helped the story a lot.
Bear Essentials by Lia Davis: Lia's stories never fail to make me smile. I adored this one. It was super sweet. I fell for Trey along with Nichole. He's so charming and adorable. Nichole has this inner strength that I admire. She's been hurt badly by her ex who made her think that her weight was never an issue then he wouldn't stand up for her and she was always happy with herself but then he made her question that. I like how she still has some sass even through all the doubt. These 2 were great together and I hope to get more in this world from Lia. Trey has 2 other brothers I'd love to get stories for.
Match Made in Hell by Milly Taiden: Holy mother of all things naughty!!! Milly Taiden doesn't pull any punches when it comes to a steamy, sexy-as-hell story! With a smoking hot dirty talking alpha shifter and a sassy curvy girl this made for a really fun and panty soaking story!
Vella Day's Unexpected Diversion had me hooked from the beginning. Cheyenne is such a strong yet witty weretiger. I would love to hang out with Chey! Her dad's stupid ultimatum is looming over her head so she is going to have one last rodeo! Enter Storm, my new book boyfriend and his motorcycle. I would jump on this sexy doctor's bike anytime! The chemistry between Storm and Chey is sizzling. I really fell for these characters. I even cried when Storm found out about who she really was. This is a five star read!
Waking the Bear by Kerry Adrienne was a great action-filled love story. Griff is such a great character. The way that Kerry added the bear aspects to his personality are genius! I really empathized with Amy. Amy and Griff really heat up the forest. I was glad to see Amy getting her confidence back. I really enjoyed their story. My fingers are crossed for a full novel! Four and a half stars!
Prime Desire by Andie Devaux was a new author read for me. I loved the chemistry between weretiger Nicolas and the headstrong Evie. The way Nicolas works to control his tiger nature to get Evie back warms my heart. I love Evie's take no crap attitude. She really fights for her dream to be a wildlife photographer. Hot story! After reading this, Andie Devaux has a new fan! Four and a half stars!
Lia Davis's Bear Essentials was another new author read for me. As a BBW myself, I could relate to Nichole's loss of confidence. It's hard with all the stick thin models running around. When you add in her jerk of an ex, it just adds to her self doubt. Sexy shifter Trey is the best hero character. The way he helps Nichole overcome her insecurities made me smile. There is a great amount of chemistry between the them. This was a hot story and I can't wait to read others from Lia Davis. She is on my TBR list. Five stars!
Match Made in Hell by Milly Taiden sizzles! I loved the sexy dirty talking shifter Damien. His refusal to have a relationship after his wife tugged on my heart. Laura's character is great. The interaction between Laura and Damien is hilarious. The way they both fight this relationship tooth and nail( or is that claw), is futile. Their chemistry can't be denied! I love how Milly includes the story of how they both landed in Hell. A great five star read.
Overall, this anthology is one of the best I have read. The romance doesn't disappoint. The fighting action is thrilling. I enjoyed finding new authors and reconnecting with some of my favorites. They have outdone themselves!
*This was provided to me free in exchange for an honest review* This was a pretty decent box set. I enjoyed it, for the most part.
An Unexpected Diversion by Vella Day I love the sneaky dad biker DR thing going on here. This was a clever sexy story and had my turning the page to figure out what was going on! Well written and fun, I'll be looking for more from this author.
Waking the Bear by Kerry Adrienne This was an interesting story. I liked the idea of a Park Ranger shifter. The war between species was interesting. I would like to read more about it. I liked Griff and his loyalty, his protection, even his grumpiness.
Prime Desire by Andie Devaux To be honest, this book didn't impress me. The story was just so-so. I don't care about his reasoning, but lying would not endear me to someone. It would certainly not make me love him. I just didn't enjoy this story.
Bear Essentials (A BBW paranormal romance) by Lia Davis This was a fun, sexy, quick to the point story. I like that the drama didn't drag on through the whole thing. I got a great feel for the characters and their interactions felt real. "Connies said I should stop thinking and 'get my ass mated'. This was a great read.
Match Made in Hell (A BBW paranormal romance) by New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author, Milly Taiden This was fantastic! I loved the interesting new story type from this author. As usual, we have the sexy BBW and the rough tough male shifter. I liked the Hell setting and Davi has me dying to find out more about her website and dating services! "You look like a grandmother." Davis shook her head. Laura raised her brows. "And you look like a high priced hooker." It's witty, super sexy and has you panting for more!
Milly Taiden's Match Made in Hell, introduces a great new series, that I look forward to reading all of. I wanted to read it again as soon as I finished it. It was a very sexy story and I enjoyed every last scene. I also will never think of gladiators the same way, and the twist I didn't see coming was perfect, Ms. Taiden can pack a HUGE punch in a short story and I love that about her!
Vella Day's Unexpected Diversion, Cheyenne is being forced to marry a man that is ALL wrong for her. So she jumps at the chance to find a diversion, and a hot biker is the perfect diversion, even though he is very human. I really hope this becomes a series.
Andie Devaux is a new to me author, and she won me over with Prime Desire, I definitely found Nicolas to be a sexy tiger, and I wouldn't mind finding myself lost on his mountain.
Kerry Adrienne's story was good, I enjoyed sleepy and grumpy Griff, and how quickly Amy figured out everything, that was refreshing in a heroine.
Lia Davis is already a go to author, her and Milly were the reasons I first picked up this book, so I was not disappointed at all with Trey and Nichole, they were sexy and the writing was at the level I always expect from Lia.
I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review
Prime Desire by Andie Devaux
Nicolas, a man with a secret, rescues Evie, an aspiring wildlife photographer, during a snowstorm in the mountains. They spend the night together. One incredibly hot, steamy night. The next morning Evie leaves in a rush after she discovers Nicolas' secret. Evie is smart, independent and, although she can't seem to forget their night together, is cautious when it comes to Nicolas. Nicolas is mysterious, handsome and has never been able to forget Evie. A few years pass, and they meet again. Nicolas has been busy preparing a life he hopes will include Evie. Evie never forgot Nicolas, but she also never expected to see him again. Nicolas has issues he needs to work on before he and Evie can be together. This is a great story. These characters are a good match for one another, with just the right amount of SEXY, STEAMY scenes. I hope to read more about them in the future. A HOT, SEXY SHIFTER ? Yes please. YOU NEED THIS BOOK !
Five great authors, five awesome shifter stories all wrapped up pretty in one box set. If you love to read about a variety of different shifters you have to check this collection out. Cheetah, tiger , wolf and bears are about to see what mating is all about. Each story is unique and pulls you in. The characters are well developed, easy to like or dislike and the storyline twists and turns are sure to keep you on your toes. Love is never easy and it gets more complicated when a human is your mate. Each story comes with its own obstacles to be overcome and the journey to their happy endings is definitely entertaining. From high in the mountains to the depths of hell, hot sexy alpha males show their human mates how to burn up the sheets. Quick, fast and entertaining, you will not be disappointing.
I had the supreme pleasure of reading Bear Essentials, Lia Davis's contribution to this anthology early and I absolutely loved it. I cannot wait to read the rest....
An Unexpected Diversion -Vella Day -Cheyenne Snow or Chey is the towns local veterinarian and also the alpha's daughter. Her dad has given her an ultimatum, find a husband by August or she will have to marry Chuck Lord. Where would she find a shifter husband? Bring on Storm Durant the new local doctor In town, the new human doctor. But that doesn't stop her from having fun until the fun becomes a little more serious. When betrayals come to light Storm is hurt but he stills wants Chey but at what price. Be careful what you wish for! I loved it. Loved everything about this story. Loved the characters, Chey was a alpha female strong, stubborn and quirky and Storm human but he was no less dominant and really sweet. It was a short read but it read smoothly.
Walking the Bear -Kerry Adrienne -Amy Francis had been layed off from her job and with her breakup from her boyfriend she wanted a fresh start. So she decides to get away and rent a small cabin in the mountains where she can relax and paint. Griffton or Griff Martin is the ranger for the area and bear shifter. His got enough problems without his mate showing up. The mountain lion pack were trying to take over the local forest area run by Griff's den mates but she was here and he would just have watch over her and keep her safe from a distance due to the shifter war. Nothing is ever that easy especially when it comes to a shifter's mate! I loved the storyline but I just felt it was cut off to quickly at the end, it felt like half the story was missing. I loved the characters as well but it would have been nice to meet some of the bear clan. There were quiet a few grammatical errors throughout the story but still really enjoyable.
Prime Desire -Andie Devaux Three years ago Evie meets weretiger, Nicholas when he rescues from a snowstorm. She ends up in his bed but before he wakes she takes off to avoide any awkwardness. What Evie doesn't realise is is that she is his mate. But he lets her go because his scared of what his tiger side might do. But with his tiger under control the time has come to get his mate back and he calls in some favours. Evie gets a job in the Rocky Mountains which she is really excited about. Unsuspecting that her ex lover orchestrated it all she heads out to Colorado. She's shocked to see Nicholas again but she's there to do a job, so she thinks. Now all he has to do is try and explain why he mislead her! I haven't read about a weretiger in awhile which was refreshing. I really enjoyed storyline and the characters, who were really sweet. I just wish that it could have been longer!
Bear Essentials -Lia Davis Nichole has had a traumatic breakup with her ex and on top of that she's jobless. Her friend decides it's enough of sitting at home and takes her on a girls' night out. She meets the gorgeous Trey Black for a second time that day but this time his not taking no for an answer. Trey took one look at Nichole in the cafe and new she was his mate. But she never gave him a chance when she ran out of the cafe earlier. This time the curvy goddess wasn't getting away from him, he would do what ever it took to get her in his bed and mated! I love Lia Davis's books and this one was no difference, I loved it. It is my kind of shifter story. The characters were strong and sweet. Wish it was longer and I would love to see this book as part of a series!
Match Made in Hell -Milly Taiden Laura Nieves is assistant to Davi or as others know her, mistress of the Seventh level of the underworld. Davi along with her sisters have started a matchmaking site, Hellmatch.com and she wants Laura to run it. The first to go onto the site is Damien Wrath, a shapeshifter. When Laura goes to get information sparks fly. Damien recognises Laura as his mate. But things aren't always as simple as they seem....or are they! This was an unusual read for me but it was a very interesting change. I really enjoyed it it was different!
Very fast paced shifter romance, complete with passion and fighting lessons! And now a bit about the story...
Cheyenne Snow has been promised to the awful Chuck Lord by her father if she can't find a suitable husband/mate in four months. Since Chey's dad is the pack alpha her husband needs to be able to take over the cheetah pack, so this is no small task ahead of her. When she decides all hope is lost she decides to have a spring fling to take her mind off the awful Mr Lord! If only she could get her father to change his mind!!
Favorite passage: “I want to love you the way you deserve.”

Prime Desire By Andie Devaux - 5 stars
Can their desires outweigh their fears?
Great story of never getting over that one night in college. Characters and setting are well described, I feel like I'm hiking along with them. And now a bit about the story...
Evie and Nicholas had a chance meeting once in a snowstorm. He saved her and the night only got hotter from there. Even years later they are both still thinking of it. There is only one problem, the tiger. Will they overcome their fears and doubts and trust in what they feel for each other or will they just keep running??
Favorite passages: - “Seriously?” she asked, face alight with anger. “Did you forget where the gas pedal was? Or did you hope I would die of old age before we got here?” - “It’s time to stop running.”
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Bear Essentials by Lia Davis -5 stars
Stranger to Mated in zero to....
Great introduction to the bear den of Blackrock!! This story follows one of the alphas three sons. All three are tall, hard bodied bears with striking blue eyes. And now a bit about the story...
Nichole had just broken up with her boyfriend. Since she also worked for him, she was out of an job too. She has no real idea where her life is going until she runs into the Black brothers. Can 24 hours essentially change her life?
Favorite passages: - “I do know how to work the microwave, female.” - “That’s not me, it’s the bear.” Her smile widened and she rolled her eyes. “Sure, blame it on the bear.” “True story.”

Match Made In Hell by Milly Taiden - 5 stars
Finding the perfect match can be Hell, but try doing it in Hell!!!
Wow, this one is hot as Hell ;) -- We've all heard of 7th Heaven right? What about the 7th level of Hell?? This book will get you started on a great new series all about it. And now a bit about the story...
Davi is trying to figure out how to keep up with her sisters. Then it hits her, she needs to match up her warriors! But who to start with? Then she notices how her prudish assistant seems to have the hits for her head warrior and she hatches a plan to increase her minions!
Favorite passages: - “After what happened with the last episode of Days of Our Hell, things need some lightening up.” - “Do you have a sturdy bed?” She winked. - “Hell is only tolerable because you’re here with me.”
This story was quite interesting and I really enjoyed it. Cheyenne (Chey) is a veternarian and also a cheetah shifter. Storm is the new doctor in town. Chey has been ordered by her Alpha father to find a husband within 4 months or he will pick one for her. Chey and Storm meet in a bar and the sparks fly instantly. Only she can't marry a human. The sex between these two is hot but when Storm finds out why Chey sought him out, things change.
Waking the Bear by Kerry Adrienne:
Amy, after losing her latest boyfriend and her job heads to the hills for some quiet 'me time'. She wants to relax, find herself and paint while deciding what she'd going to do next. She rents a small cabin from Park Ranger Griff. He warns her of the dangers of the woods and tells her to stay close to the house. After waking from his hibernation, Griff knows he has a war on his hands with the mountain lions wanting to take over the forest. He's trying to keep Amy safe at the same time without giving up his secret of being a shifter. Of course, Amy doesn't listen and Griff has his hands full.
Prime Desire by Andie Devaux:
In this story we are introduced to a weretiger. Nicolas had been banned from his clan at an early age because he changed too early in life and could not control his tiger. While at this cabin he hears a faint call for help. He rescues the heroine Evie, lost in a snowstorm and separated from her friends. He takes her to his cabin and takes care of her. Still not being able to control his tiger, during sex he bites her. Evie is up and out of there first thing the next morning. 3 years later, Nick feels he's under control and wants his 'mate' back. Interesting story on just how he goes about it.
Bear Essentials by Lia Davis:
Trey, a bear living within his clan has been in trouble a lot growing up. When he meets Nicole, a BBW with issues pertaining to her weight, she is leery of Trey's come on line. She's just left a relationship heartbroken with low self esteem. She's just not ready to head back down that road again. When Trey meets Nicole a second time after laying in wait at the local bar, Nicole decides to give him a chance. He makes a deal with her. Give him 24 hours to convince her he's totally serious and he'll give her 24 hours alone to decide. A lot can happen in 24 hours.
Match made In hell by Milly Taiden:
Davi is in charge over her minions in the 7th level of Hell. The 7th level is for souls who were condemned for gluttony. She needs more minions to compete with her sisters to stay her mother's favorite so she initiates Hellmatch.com. Laura, Davi's assistant is in charge of the first case. She is questioning Damien, a wolf shifter, a gladiator and now one of Davi's guards. He died for his wife and even though he didn't truly love her, he feels loyalty to her. His wolf recognizes Laura as his mate when she questions him for Hellmatch.com. Laura is not interested. Sparks fly though when Davi herself interferes and tries to push the two together.
Overall, I think this set was a joy to read. Definitely worth the money for this boxed set. I would give this whole set a 4.5 star rating. Some of these stories I wish were longer although none leave you hanging.
***A gifted copy was provided by the author(s) for an honest review*** I really enjoyed reading Spring Fever: Shifters in Love. Waking the Bear by Kerry Adrienne How the story starts is two months of "myself time" seemed like the perfect idea to regroup for Amy and find direction. Then the way between species breaks out. I really found I liked that interplay . I loved Griff and hus hot Alpha ways and how he protects and desires Amy, an artist . My Rating 4 stars Prime Desire by Andie DeVaux This story didn’t really do much for me. Out of all the books in this box set, I feel this is the weakest. No offense to this author, it is the story didn’t work for me. Nicolas lying didn’t make me like him. Others may understand his lying but to me, no. My rating 2.9 stars ** Bear Essentials (A BBW paranormal romance) by Lia Davis Great story! Nichole has been dumped by her jerk of a boyfriend due to her size who also got her fired from her job. Trey approached her and asked her out=reason was she was his mate. He loves her , curves n all. This was a sweet story about how a shifter man loves a woman for who she is-not what she looks like. My rating 4.5 stars ****
An Unexpected Diversion by Vella Day Cheyenne Snow is a cheetah shifter and daughter to the alpha. Her father is ready to step down as alpha and as his only child, she has to find a mate, so he can step up and rule the clan. Cheyenne knows she can rule and doesn’t need a mate to do so and feels that having to need a mate to do so is wrong-and what is even worse is that she is given only 4 months to mate with Chuck Lord, the nastiest lowlife in their clan. Chey n her best friend decide to head to their local bar and in walks pure sin-Storm Durant is the new doctor in town and 100% human and off limits – and all I can tell you is-this was one of my favorites of this box set. I really enjoyed how this box ended. My rating 5 stars *****
Match Made in Hell by Milly Taiden Laura Nieves is the personal assistant to Davi, who is in charge of the seventh circle of Hell, which is the level of gluttony. Davi puts Laura in charge finding a mate for her head guard, Damien Wrath-Well which is going to be hard because ole Damien is a shifter who has always stayed loyal to his dead wife memory –that is until Laura. These two have a great chemistry. I loved reading about how love came to be for the matchmaking Laura and the dirty talking , yet loyal Damien. My rating 4.6 stars ****

Overall: Fun stories. Some I liked more than others but overall good reads. *4 Stars*
An Unexpected Diversion - Vella Day *3 Stars* I liked that he used his brains to win the challenge. 'Brains over brawn' isn't a normal shifter maxim. I wasn't a fan of the humans being superior to shifters theory. I didn't feel like the story should have ended without some resolution about Storm taking over the pack. I also didn't agree with how Chuck was handled. I would have expected that attempting to assault the pack Alpha's daughter would have more severe punishment than banishment. I wasn't a fan of Leo's at all, from the way he treated his daughter and her assailant to the way he was condescending to Storm, overall a douche.
Waking the Bear by Kerry Adrienne *4 Stars* I disliked the lack of resolution. I wasn't a fan of the heroine. She doesn't seem to have the sense God gave a goose, I really wanted to smack her. Also she did a 180 after hearing he was the bear.
Prime Desire by Andie Devaux *5 Stars* When I read Broken Prime, my first thought was 'I hope she does a sequel!'. Here it is *happy dance* The prologue does catch up so even if you didn't read Broken Prime, you were still able to read this one without feeling like you walked into the story halfway. I'm glad that Nicolas's life turned around. I was cheering for him and Erin to get their HEA. I loved seeing his brother and sister-in-law too. Thank goodness for her advice on women or Nicolas would be doomed, doomed I tell you! *snicker*
Bear Essentials by Lia Davis *5 Stars* I love the heroine, she was sassy and I loved watching her get her confidence back, 'Go get 'em, girl!'. I really like that she took the time to think and talk it over before jumping in (even if the conversation was short). I like that the fight against April was kinda realistic (taking a bigger/stronger opponent down by hitting weak spots and head injuries). I loved that they appreciated her gentle heart and gift.
Match Made in Hell by Milly Taiden *5 Stars* I am hoping she makes this into a series because I love Davi! She is hilarious and ruthless. I liked the closure they got from seeing Kele/Katherine again.
If shifters are what you are wanting with them finding love even their mates than this is the stop. The thing about this one besides love is in the air is that it has not one but five different authors that bring it in for us readers with what we want most out of a story-a explosive story between two that with enough heat can melt away any doubt about why readers love shifters. Milly Taiden gives you one that will let you know just how fun matchmaking can be to have a hand in but one in particular gives you one that could be said it was one made in -, wait not there but no matter since it is so hot it is where it belongs in this story but you are given a treat of delight in seeing someone get their just deserve too. Vella Day that a what she thinks is one last fling hiding from the new doc actually bites her in the butt because with the attention she gets that dad actually will know best with the joy of seeing why. Not too often do I read good bear shifters and this has a double dose. One from Kerry Adrienne about when bear shifter Griff rents his cabin out to a artist he gets more than he expected because he also gets his mate. But oh the timing but love does not wait for it to go away when it is the time. Also one by Lia Davis that this bear will have his hands full with trying to get a not sure of herself thanks to a jerk shortly after it with convincing her to trust when he says she is the one for life. Should of come with a warning for sure each one of these that to the fair of heart these might be too hot to handle if not careful. Oh and not to forget this one by Andie Devaux that when he saves her in the past Nicolas can no longer go forth without her-his mate that he decides to turn her path his way with something that is dear to her heart, her photography. But then big cats like weretigers do know how to be patient enough to claim what is theirs. But then he must take down her walls so Evie no longer have anything to fear. Love the best kind found between two people that were meant to be together found right here between these pages with passion to fit the season. Received a copy for a honest review.
Paranormal Romance isn't normally a genre that I read but these stories kept me riveted the whole time. Every single one was hot!!
Unexpected Diversion - 5 star
Chey and Storm's story is hot and sweet. The supporting cast of characters, from Tasha to Leo, really adds a great dimension to the story. And Chey's "Da-ad"...yep I've done that a lot so I could hear the tone in her voice as I read.
Waking the Bear - 4 star
Out of all of the heroes in this set I do think that Griff is my favorite. Sexy and sweet. I liked the small town setting and the descriptions of locations are very vivid. The only con in this one was Amy...for some reason I just didn't connect with this heroine.
Prime Desire - 4 star
For me this was the hardest story to get into but the character development for Evie and Nicolas was phenomenal. The changes in POV were very easy to follow and the way that the emotions were described far outweighed the difficulty I had in reconciling the man with the tiger. I did like the strength Nicolas showed at the end of the story.
Bear Essentials - 5 star
Nichole vies for the title of favorite heroine with Laura from the last story. I love how the author describes her physically. I also enjoyed the way that Trey was able to read her feelings...how the author described Nichole's facial expressions and mannerisms that Trey could read. She didn't leave it as an ambiguous "he could sense something." She was very detailed in what physical cues that Trey could read to understand what Nichole was feeling.
Match Made In Hell - 4.5 star
As I said before I can't decide between Laura and Nichole as to which is my favorite heroine. Damien is hot and oh so dirty the naughty girl in me was left fanning herself. And I love how Davi brought the truth to light in the end. I wasn't expecting that and it was an interesting twist. The only reason that it didn't get 5 star was because of Elena. I really didn't like that character and she was off-putting to me. I'm glad Laura "handled" her.
Overall Rating: 4.5 Rockin’ ★★★★☆ This box set is a must have in my library. Each story delivers a delicious and sexy shifter romance for the reader.
Match Made in Hell is the newest paranormal romance novella by Milly Taiden and is included in the Spring Fever: Shifters in Love boxset. Milly takes the reader into the depths of hell where she weaves her matchmaking skills like the true artist she is. Her characters are funny, sexy and totally explosive when pushed to their limits. This is Laura and Damien's story and you do not want to miss the heat that this couple produces on each page.
Laura is an assistant to Davi, who is the head honcho that reigns over the seventh circle of hell. When Davi decides she needs more minions, she decides to play matchmaker. She enlists Laura to help provide her with a match made in hell. Laura has always been a conservative employee wearing modest, not appropriate clothing for a member of Hell’s Princess’ entourage. She doesn't want to attract attention and allow her inner craziness out much to her boss’s aggravation.
Damien is a warrior and protector by nature. He is the leader of Davi’s guards and over sees her forces. He does not want a mate, but once he meets Laura all bets are off. He finds himself wanting to know more about her and being waylaid by her putting up barriers between them along the way.
Milly Taiden continues to provide very satisfying, hot sexy reads for those of us that are in need of additions to our growing libraries.

For this review, I chose A Spring Fever by Milly Taiden, Vella Day, Kerry Adrienne, Andie Devaux, and Lia Davis. This is a paranormal romance box set, which has 5 brand new stories from 5 different authors. I am going to try to keep each review for these down to a few sentences.
I received a copy of the ebook for a honest review of this book.
Onto my review these stories:
Five Great Shifter authors and each had something different to offer the readers. Each had HOT chemistry, a bit of suspense, love the main characters, powerful, and passionate. I don't normally read books about Shifters, but something caught my eye. This is only my second book in this genre.
With Waking the Bear by Kerry Adrienne, is there more to this story? I loved the suspense of the SenPal Mountain Lion Pack. There was so many adjectives to describe Chey, which I loved.
With Unexpected Diversion by Vella Day, this was HOT, but it was more than just HOT. I can not think of a word to describe it. Love the nickname for Chey! "Like a moth to light, she pounced."
With Prime Desire by Andie Devaux, I loved that the park ranger was the Bear Shifter. I laughed when I saw that Griff loved honey in his coffee. Another story with lots of adjectives to describe Nicolas. Love the nickname for Evie!
With Bare Essentials by Lia Davis, I loved how we read about Love at First sight. It reminded me how much I love my husband.
With Match Made in Hell by Milly Taiden, loved how there was a witch in the story. Was she a good witch or a bad witch? This story was a little different since the location was Hell!
☆☆☆☆☆ I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. Would I recommend this book? Yes! Author? Yes! Would I read more from this author? Yes!
Spring Fever: Shifters in Love was a decent read and a good intro to new authors. Of the five, Lia Davis was the only one I'd read anything by before. I love shifters, though, so this book seemed right up my alley.
Cheetahs (a first for me!), bears, mountain lions, and a wolf--fun! Plus, each story was short enough to be read in a sitting, which is great when you've got a busy schedule.
Though they all were affected to differing degrees by the novella's eternal complaint--being too short to really develop a full story satisfactorily--Spring Fever was an entertaining way to pass the time and some stories were definitely more solid than others. They definitely improved as the book went on--the first story's plot (An Unexpected Diversion) relied a bit too heavily on characters not bothering to have the obvious conversations for my taste, though it did have potential. Several of the stories utilized insta-love (or at least insta-lust), but with the excuse of the animal inside the shifter recognizing its mate, it's a more palatable device than it might otherwise be.
The last two stories were my favorites (Bear Essentials and Match Made in Hell), even though the fact that the hero in Hell was a shifter was almost an afterthought--it definitely wasn't as much of a plot point as in the other stories. He thought more about his wolf than we actually saw it in action.
If you're looking for new paranormal authors, though, give this anthology a try. You just might find a new series to read.
Rating: 3 to 4 stars for individual stories--overall, 3 1/2 stars and a C+

In An Unexpected Diversion things get hot and steamy as sassy Cheyenne sets her sights on Dr. Storm Durant. There is never a dull moment in any of these stories and hearts get captured as happily ever afters are pursued with fervent desire and love overcomes adversities and insecurities. While I felt that the individual stories were too short because I wanted to visit with the charming characters longer, I was enthralled from beginning to end with each and every one and I am looking forward to reading more by these hot-tastic authors.
In Match made in hell can Davi find a solution in helldate.com to the decline in supplicants. The website matches her with a wolf shifter can this curve her to relax or make it more unbearable. The story line great that Milly brings you in and makes you glued to the pages until the end. I look forward to seeing what happens next for Davi the daughter of the Queen of Hell.
In bear essentials Trey meets Nichole and he realizes his mate be a hand with full with all the trouble that follows. Can he seduce her enough to get over her fears that she will not run scared or will he convince her to stay and give him a chance.
Prime Desire Nick has given his mate her this pretend job so he can be close to her again. It has been while since he has seen her and wants nothing to more to be closer to her that they were 3 years ago when she walked out on him. He does what he thinks it right by lieing about the dream job will he be able to keep her and fight or will she run like last time.
Waking the bear is such a great story Griff is a bear shifter who rents his cabin to Amy even though he really does not want to. Griff finds that is he is attracted to Amy his mate while he convince her that she is his along with protecting her and his dean for danger.
Cheyenne in Unexpected diversion is given an ultimatum by her father find a husband or you must marry the man of my choosing. Her friends try to help her get a husband that will be alpha of her pack along with her fathers approval. She meets Snow at the bar were her friends work will be the one she needs or will he be more trouble.
Unexpected Diversion- I really enjoyed this book! It was sweet and funny. Really funny at the end...what a joke to play on your daughter and future mate. LOL.
Waking The Bear- I really liked Griff he was rough around the edges, big, and growly...sexy! Amy...she was kinda stubborn sometimes...she totally freaked when that cat shifted. It was funny but not cause Evers tried to rape her. The funny thing is that she really freaked out about the shifting thing. However, she accepted Griff fairly quickly. I loved the story. :)
Prime Desire- Was an ok story...not very memorable but it wasn't bad or anything just didnt hold my attention much.
Bear Essentials- Nichole has horrible luck with men...especially her last one. I understand her reluctance with Trey and he was awesome and took his time. Her self consciousness was a bit much but thats ok. Didnt stop me from reading. Anyways, loved it.
Match Made In Hell- I LOVED this! This was so freaking awesome. I just laughed! Laura is so boring and its clear she was alive in a certain time and kinda kept up her clothing that way too. Stuffy and button downs in HELL...no less. LOL. Then you have Damian who is Head Warrior and gruff and very sexy. He hated the idea that his Mistress was asking...Laura hated it too. Davi had ideas...so what she wants she gets. She was hilarious. Total opposites. The first time Laura met Damian was so sexy and funny. The things he said to her and he was masturbating! LOL She was SHOCKED to say the least. Anyways, it was a great story and I hope to have more of these from Milly.
In this box set of five stories, we are thrown into a world of alpha shape shifters by five different paranormal writers. You can get a different animal for your fantasies.
Match Made in Hell by MillyTaiden deals with hell warrior Damien Wrath and quiet Laura Nieves who both sold their souls. Finding themselves living together with a crazy mistress, they will either kill each other or heat up eternity with their chemistry.

She decides to go out one night and finds herself a human whom she cannot marry. But the diversion turns out more than she bargains and a moment of passion turns out to be a lifetime together.
Waking the Bear by Kerry Adrienne, we have an over protective bear shifter in Grif Martin. He manages to rent his cabin to an artist Amy Francis. Grif quickly realizes she is his destined mate as he tries to protect her from the wilderness and other animal shifters nearby without blowing his identity. Can he protect her and his family and risk losing it all?
Bear Essentials by Lia Davis, we meet Trey another bear shifter who meets Nicholas years ago and was turned by him and left him. Nicholas has been keeping an eye of her and finds a way for them to meet once again. Can he win her heart this time around and make her insecurities this time around?
A nice collection for who love paranormal romances that is an easy read.
I'll start by saying I wasn't sure I'd make it through the entire anthology without getting bored or irritated that the stories were the same. I've discovered that anthologies are harder for me to read, that I need more breaks from the content, and that I skim through said content more often than not.
But this anthology is one of the rare ones that kept me reading. While the theme (shifters falling in love) stays the same throughout, the way it's presented is what kept me engaged. I don't mean the shifter species; I mean the writing style. Each author has their own their unique style and they bring that to the table in full force.
These five ladies took me from majestic mountains to breathtaking forests to the heated depths of Hell all to watch their shifters fall in lust and love with their fated/true mates. While the attraction ran deep between each couple, there were obstacles to overcome in order to be together. Self-worth had to be addressed. Pasts had to be reconciled and laid to rest. Lies by omission had to be exposed and forgiven.
The path to happily ever after for each couple wasn't easy, but it isn't supposed to be. Experiencing a love that's unconditional and touches your soul is a love worth fighting for. The heartache and tears and curses are only for the moment. The joy and completion that follows is for eternity for these shifters. Come hell or high water, they'll have their mate and the promise of a lifetime of loving with them too.
