I came across this little gem the other day and realized that this was the author's first published work. So I figured, What the hell? and gave it a go...Here's what I got for ya!
First of all, I have to mention that heroine of this book LOVES shoes! I mean LOVES them{{looks down at worn out flip-flops}}.
Serena Kascade came across a spoiled, self-absorbed, snotty pain in the butt, who's main objective was to give her daddy's bank account a massive stroke. However, as I began to delve further into the story, I started to understand why she behaved the way she did and the dynamic between she and her father.
Trust me, daddy's an ass of epic proportions!
On the flip-side...
Gunner, the president of the Rattlesnake Motorcycle Club, is by far one of the sexiest biker boyfriends I have come across in a long time {{fans self}}. He has a “take no crap from anyone” attitude that bursts from the pages. The author's description of Gunner made me want one of my own. Definitely sexy!
And the heat level of this little number?
OMG! These two are absolutely insane in or shall I say out of the sack!{{read it and you'll understand}} They made my Kindle heat up and my lady bits ache for more. I have to hand it to the author, she has a way with storytelling of the “Big Nookie”.
My only issue with this first time piece of work is it seemed to need an editor. But hey, it wasn't anything that couldn't be overlooked. And with the amount of sizzle this story packed, you can easily bypass the errors.
The way the author weaves the story into a “What the hell just happened here?” moment, tells me that she will be one to watch out for!
Bravo, Miss Jackson! I look forward to reading your next book!

Poor, Little Rich Girl and Hot, Sexy Biker
Hot, Dirty, Rough Novella with a bad boy who is a member of a motorcycle gang.
Serena is out to punish her dad by buying items from his rival's agency. Her mother died when she was young, and Serena's only friend is her maid. She comes home to find that her apartment has been trashed / ransacked. Instead on running out and calling the police, Serena searches through the rooms for her maid. She ends up being kidnapped.
Gunner is a leader of a motorcycle gang. He is has kidnapped Serena for ransom. He is a sexy biker with a sensitive side. As soon as Serena see Gunner for first time, she is attracted to him. He thinks she is the most beautiful woman. Gunner has Serena send videos to her father everyday. He lets her know that he had an rough childhood. As these two spend more time together, they talk and the sexual tension grows. These two are very hot together. There are some rough, dirty and hot sex, like the one in the shed / dingy room where Serena is held.
Eventually Gunner tells Serena what is really going on with her kidnapping and her father. He asks Serena to go see her father and steal something of his that is very important to him. The other bikers didn't know if she would do it and prove to be with them / Gunner.
There is a lot of hot sex scenes in this book. There is also an instant love with Serena and Gunner. I didn't mind that part and still enjoyed the story of the couple. If you are looking for a short, sexy read, this is a book for you. Holy Hot Bikers!! I am looking forward to other books by Meg Jackson.

Not Bad
It's a short book, but it's not bad. A little too insta-love for me though. There is not a lot of character development but that's sort of appropriate for these types of short stories. I am hoping the writing improves with further novels.

Don't give up your day job
I don't know what to say. I am assuming that the author is approximately thirteen, prepubescent and has an overactive, unrealistic idea of life.
1. Grammar--please stay in school 2. Plot--i think there is one. 3. Characters--the girl, who is suppose to come from a wealthy, privileged background has no social class, no education, no sense of self worth. She is from New York? Certainly not 5th Avenue. She is like a off off off off Broadway play that closes fifteen minutes into the play on opening night.
Ms. Jackson, I am sorry. This is not your profession. Stay in school. Fellow readers. This book is really bad. I wasted 15 minutes out of my life reading this and I will never get it back.

I enjoyed the story, the problem is, it was hidden among so many superfluous words; a paragraph to say what one sentence could. I skimmed through most of the book.
The sex scenes were fine. They were well written, but they didn't stand out, and I didn't find them different than other sex scenes of this genre. I only specifically point this out because the summary specifically pointed them out...

A quick short MC read. Fast paced, great characters and a different storyline from what i have read. Would of made a good full length novel.

This is an amazing read. It's very well written and the characters were very well developed. I was hooked from the first page. I can't wait to read more books by Meg.
