This isn't at all what I expected. I wondered whether writing for publication was something I was meant to do -- since I have been told many times I should write and that I write well, but I am very shy and introverted. Plus health problems make it hard to have a set schedule at all -- and at times I go months without writing. I also am very sensitive and worried about how I would handle reviews. Another author told me this book would help me decide. It hasn't.

It basically assumes you are supposed to be writing -- and a lot -- if you're reading this book.

There is a lot of good advice about staying in the Word and praying -- but even non-writing Christians should do that.

I was alarmed at some things though. For example, Chapter 20 is titled "Stop Complaining." It then opens by questioning if we ever heard Jesus complain and says that although he sighed over hardheartedness and unbelief he never complained or asked His Father why He had to be with these thick-headed disciples and that kind of thing. She says that never happened because it would be contrary to His character.

It may not have been those exact words, but Matthew, Mark, and Luke all record Jesus asking how long He would have to be there -- and He called them unbelieving, perverted, and asked how long He would have to put up with them.
