Epic series!!! Each book gets better and better, I am so glad I stuck with this series!! I liked the first book Mica but gave it 4 stars because I didn’t like how a few things turned out and then Slate absolutely blew me away!! Slate was an epic read and I would put it up there with one of my top favorite mc reads.

Bear is just as good and I am really looking forward to finishing the rest of this series. I highly recommend reading The Rebel Wayfarers for fans of authors such as Lauren Gilley, Susan Fanetti, Catherine Johnson, and Beth Flynn. I am so glad I discovered Maralisa DeMora!

I'VE RATED AND GIVEN A REVIEW TO EACH BOOK IN THIS BUNDLE:

Mica:
3 Stars
Here we go again! I don't understand why this book received so many four and five star reviews, seriously, is it me? I'm beginning to honestly think it's me that's just finding flaws in these books or maybe I'm reading different books from all of these other readers because I just can't fathom why so many people enjoyed this book, I just can't!

I will admit the storyline was good and not to mention really sad. Children are supposed to feel loved, protected and safe with their parents and siblings, not full of loathing and disgust and hate and pain. So I feel for Mica and what she went through, first with her father then her brother and finally Ray. I swear that woman was a magnet for man trouble.

What had me so fucking confused and then disgusted was the whole relationship/non-relationship between Mason, Mica and Daniel. Were they a triad? Did they want to be? I really didn't understand what the fuck was happening between Mason and Mica? So he was in love with her but not enough to be in a relationship with her, but enough to offer his club's protection for life? WTF? She's in love with Daniel but every opportunity she gets she runs to Mason and relies on him and his club for protection, for safety and guidance even though Daniel can offer the same fucking things, oh and let's not forget the fucking and the blow jobs she gives Mason, her 'friend'. Again..WTF! Then she has the fucking nerve to get upset because she feels Daniel lied to her because he never told her about his EX wife! This fucking chick is all kinds of crazy!!

I'm sorry but I don't think she deserved Daniel, he was a great guy and I feel he wasted his time on a woman who was scared of her own shadow and will ALWAYS prefer the company and protection of another man, even if she claims the only man she loves is Daniel. He is a fucking pussy for putting up with Mason and his caveman ways, if he wasn't man enough to fight for Mica and make her accept the club life then he needs to back the fuck up and let her be, she belongs to another man and all that touching and looking and 'Babe this, Babe that' needs to come to a fucking stop, he needs to show Daniel some fucking respect...

A Sweet & Merry Christmas:
3.5 Stars
It's all in the title...a sweet and Merry Christmas. It was very sweet how Brandy and Jess got together, no big fanfare, not a lot of chasing or hard to get, just two people who were friends and who genuinely loved and cared about each other. It was really sweet..

Although I will add that I thought it was Uber creepy that Mason was standing outside their door listening to them have sex for the very first time, I don't care that it was his bar or that he was happy for them...that shit is just creepy...who does that...ewww! That man has issues!!!

Slate:
4.5 Stars

Oh this book was so much better than book one! I thoroughly enjoyed reading Slate's story, from the very beginning,  throughout his journey on his bike and the different places and people he came across until he finally found his place with the Rebels. His was an amazing beginning, with an interesting middle and an even better ending! I loved it!

The only thing that I didn't like about this book was the three to four chapters that I literally skipped because they were the just copied from book one and that was when Mica came into the picture. Those chapters could have been left out of the book or could have been condensed into one short chapter but to have those same three or four chapters word for word...ugh it was just boring as hell to read again. There were like a few paragraphs from Slate's POV but not enough to sit there and read those chapters, it was easier to just skip them..

I was glad Slate got his HEA, it was surprising it wasn't with the person I thought it would be with, but she was to young and annoyingly indecisive so his new woman was perfect for him...sweet and all about the club life!

Bear:
4.5 Stars

Excellent read! Bear/Rob's book was an amazing story, it really went into detail about his life before the club, his life in the Navy, his marriage, his sad loss, the friends he made in the Baugh Brothers after he left the Navy and then how one coincidence leads to another and he becomes involved with Mason and the Rebels. It really is an amazing journey, much like Slate's was and I enjoyed reading every part of it. Everything really does happen for a reason...

What I didn't enjoy was the fact that there was so little of Edith/Eddie. The majority of the book focused on Bear, his trials and tribulations but there was so little on his relationship with Eddie. They saw glimpses of each other on and off for years, went on one date then he left on 'club business' for two weeks, after that they sort of have like a whirlwind kind of romance where he keeps questioning his commitment not only to her but also to Andrea, he deceased wife...Wierd but understandable I guess, until he finally makes a decision, the wrong decision I might add!

Why the hell do these bikers always wait until something horrible happens to their women before they decide to man up? Ugh....

Sighs...anywho I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens between Mason and Willa, I think she's awesome, so spunky and he really needs to stop crushing on stupid Mica already because she has totally moved on! She has her husband and her son and he is still harping on her like some damn stalker...creepy much! Move on bro...it's not going to happen...Willa is so perfect for him! Hope he gets his head out of his ass...soon!

OVER ALL I HAVE ENJOYED THIS SERIES SO FAR EVEN THOUGH IT BEGAN ROCKY FOR ME WITH MICA'S BOOK, BUT I'M GLAD I CONTINUED AND WILL CONTINUE WITH JASE AND GUNNY'S STORIES!

FYI: This series cannot be read as Standalones. All these books interact in some form or fashion and it's better for the reader to read them in order or else you'll be confused as fuck!

Mica (Rebel Wayfarers MC Book 1)

4.3 star

I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well but after realizing where the author was taking us I was a little disappointed. The story has laughs, pain, grief, love and heartbreak.

This is Mica and Daniel’s story. Mica has a troubled past that still haunts her. She lives next store to the president of the Rebel Wayfarers, Mason and he and his club consider her an “f*cking treasure”. They call her that and their Princess and will protect her to their very last breath. She has trouble trusting men and is on the run from one. After being attacked she meets Daniel who with the help of Mason protects and rescues her. Mason knows she can’t live the life of his woman so he must find a way to keep protecting her but let her go to be with Daniel. Daniel is a hockey player and successful business man. When her pass comes back to get her she must push both Daniel and Mason away to protect them. Will they understand? Can she count on Daniel & Mason to protect her in the end? Or will they both let her down?

I loved these characters. Have to say I loved Mason way more than Daniel. Not that Daniel was not a hot alpha male I just wanted more of Mason. There are some tear filled moments and some anger filled moments in this story. There is one part that had me laughing out loud. That is when Mica renames one of the club members from Meek to Road Runner (Meep Meep). But all in all I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

Slate (Rebel Wayfarers MC Book 2)
4.5 star

I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and I was kept interested. The story has laughs, pain, grief, love, abuse, and heartbreak.

This is Ruby and Slate’s story. Slate has always been a protector. After traveling and meeting a few different MCs he finally finds a home with Mason’s club. When Mason makes him President of one of the clubs Slate meets Ruby. Ruby is quiet and sweet. She becomes his club’s Princess. Which means the men of the club will protect her until the death. When both their pasts come back to haunt them they will have to fight to stay together and whole. Slate’s brother brings a ton of crap down on the club. Slate must protect him and keep the members of the club safe. When Ruby’s past snatches her he must figure out where they are and get her back. Can he get to her in time? Will he be able to keep her safe and protect her? Or will she be to broken to come back to him?

I loved these characters. Slate is super alpha protector and knows what he wants. Ruby is a little broken and needs Slate to help her heal. You get a ton of the side characters in this story so it’s not just Slate and Ruby. But all in all I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

Bear (Rebel Wayfarers MC Book 3)

5 star

I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well and I was kept interested. The story has laughs, pain, grief, love, abuse, kidnapping, and heartbreak.

This is Eddie and Bear’s story. Bear is broken. He was away in the Navy and lost his family. After joining Mason in the Rebel Wayfarers he finally finds his new place. He sees a few glimpses of Eddie over the years and is drawn to her. Eddie’s father is President of a MC club in a different state. She wants nothing to do with Bikers. But she is drawn to Bear. After forming a relationship Bear decides she is better off without him and leaves her. She is then kidnapped. Can Bear find and get her back? Or is she gone forever?

I loved both of these characters. Bear is the strong silent type. You can feel his pain throughout the story. Eddie is strong and sweet. You get info from childhood up until the present in this story. You get a ton of the side characters in this story so it’s not just Bear and Eddie. But all in all I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read.

I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story in this series.

Absolutely loved the first three books and novella of this series!

Mica
I absolutely loved this book and I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of the series!!!

Mica is one of the strongest characters I've had the pleasure of ever reading!!! The things she has lived through, and what she does to protect her loved ones is unbelievable. And I don't mean that like they aren't believable but that they are just so terrible. And to finally find her forever love only to have to go through even more, jut WOW!!! Daniel is great. Maybe not as great as Mason but perfect for Mica!

And Mason, OMG, I really want him to find someone worthy of that much loyalty!!! And so many other great characters that I can't wait to get better acquainted with!!

A Sweet & Merry Christmas
A very quick, very sweet story about how Brandy and Jess finally got together!!! Enjoyable, but maybe too short!

Slate
The more I read of this series, the more I fall in love with it!!! Learning Slate's story from the very beginning was great! Getting to know Andy from boyhood to manhood, seeing what molded him into the strong man he became... Totally makes me understand him and why he is the way he is. I was a little upset when things didn't work the way I thought they would at one point in the story, but I got over that when Ruby came into the story!!!! She was so perfect for Slate!!!

Fantastic book, can't wait to read more!!!!

Bear
Oh my, I adore Bear!!!! This is my favorite book of the series to date!!! This book just tore me up, I so wanted Bear to find what he had lost. And I wanted Eddie to find the love she deserved!!! A lot happens in this book. There is love, loss, betrayal. So much pain!!!! But this quote right here stole my heart:

DADDY, the glitter is from my wings. I wish you were here. I was an ANGEL tonight, just like you always say. I love you, ASH. XOXO

It will be hard for the rest of the series to live up to this one!!!

Can't wait to read more of the series!!!

"Rebel Wayfarers forever.... forever Rebels!"

Over all I'm giving this box set 5 stars and you can thank Slate and Bear for that! I loved How each story coincided with each other and filled in the answers that the others left open! So glad I decided to read this!
I've reviews each book below:

Mica:
4 stars
Ok so while I liked Mica I didn't love it I guess it could be because I'm not a fan of love triangles. I thought it was kind of all over the place. I think if the relationship between Mason and Mica was kept 100% platonic and Daniel was introduced in the beginning (and if Mica talked to him instead of shutting him out) I would have liked it more! the story was great don't get me wrong I just think It could've been a lot better.

A Sweet and Merry Christmas:
4.5 stars
This was super sweet and short and I loved it so much

Slate:
5 stars!
I loved slate so much, I cried and wanted to wrap that boy in a blanket to protect him from everyone! the story sucked me in and wouldn't let me go until I was finished with it! What I really loved is that we started at the beginning before Andrew became Slate and I found that important This was the book to make me love the Rebels! ( And In my opinion I think slate should have been book 1) I want to find my always now!

Bear:
WHAT KIND OF CLIFFHANGER BS WAS THAT ENDING MARIALISA! God damn bear pulled at my heartstrings I don't think I have ever cried so much while reading and I loved every second of it! I wanted to wrap Rob in a blanket and protect him just as much as I wanted to smack his dumbass upside his head! (Now that's love) just like Slate I loved how the story started from the beginning from before Rob became Bear this was amazing story and I can't wait to read more!

Wow! Just wow!!

What a wonderfully, beautifully written series. The pain, the heartache, the love, the brotherhood and the many different roads the Rebel Wayfayers travel. Please have tissues. I have never been more intrigued and fell in love with another single series as much as I have this one. The trials and tribulations Mics has throughout her short life. The beautiful and winding long roads that Slate has traveled and the different people he has met. The growing up he had to do because of his home life. The tragic and devastating and debilitating heartbreak that Bear had to endure in his short years on the earth. The beautiful sayings and thoughts that were intertwined. Just a beautifully written work of art.

CAN'T WAIT FOR THE OTHER BOOKS

MICA - I didn't want to read this book because I couldn't stand the thought of some bit#h hurting one of my REBELS, especially the President, Mason. But the way you write Marialisa, it was so good and I ended up loving Daniel (he's no Mason but close). I also liked Mica and she ended up with the right man. However, Mason better find his always and love her with all he has. SLATE - Dear me what a life he lived before he found his Rebel Family. Slate was intelligent and street wise and boy could he read people and situations. Ruby was perfect for him because he is and will always be a care giver, protector. I loved him too.
BEAR - As good as the first 2 books. I felt so sorry for Bear's grief, but then he found Eddie and after 12 years allowed himself to love. Wonderful series.

Laugh and Cry a lot

Mica, can I be her when I grow up? Club Princess and Treasure! She has had a world of hurt thrown at her but is a Survivor with the respect and love of all the Rebel Wayfarers especially Mason but then there is Daniel. Eany, meeny, miny, Moe. Slate, was a strong kid who has to grow up fast and becomes and even stronger man and is loved by many women and MC Prezs from Coast to Coast and from North to South. They all see him as a good man as he searches for his place to call home. Bear, now this story will break your heart, this guy finds true love as a teenager. Life has a way of giving us some hard deals but Bear has to learn to pick up his heart and keep going.

Love love love

I was introduced to Rebel Wayfarers MC through Lila Rose's Living Without. I was intrigued from that introduction. When I won a copy of Rebel Wayfarers MC Vol 1-3, I dove in and fell in love. Everything you could want from an MC series wrapped up into these books. I absolutely can't wait to get the next boxed set!

Best MC reads

I was able to get all 12 books at once. Just finished this first set. MariaLisa has a wonderful way to tell everyone's story without losing the reader or he story thread. The character's stories overlap but she is able to make the overlap and not lose the story of you end up reading them out of order. I heard to the next 3 members

Best

I have worked my way through quite a few of her books and I really like her characters and the grand scope of her plot arcs. They work together very well. Separate, the books are a bit shaky for me, especially since I read for the plot and the characters, not the sex scenes. The omnibus/boxed set makes the flow of the plots and the arc of the themes flow much better.
