ALEXANDRA NORTH...

... is a #1 Amazon bestselling author. She writes romance, with erotic themes, British humour, drama and often suspense; there is always a HEA at the end of a book/series.
Ms. North lives in the rambling lush hills of Yorkshire, United Kingdom with her swoon-worthy husband and two children, 15 and 9. She worked as a Graphic Designer & Illustrator, for over 18 years before she wrote her first book and now combines design and writing in this new path when creating her book covers and teasers.
Writing was always a hobby and took a back seat to University, work, parenthood and unfortunately later, chronic long-term illness. One day she woke and thought 'life's too short - I'm going to finish that blummin book!' She now devotes her time to writing love stories full of humour and naughtiness. When she isn't manically typing away or trying to be the model wife and mum, Alexandra can be found shoe shopping (shoes are her weakness), cosying up with back-to-back TV series and enjoying her very own Sebastian Silver.

It began a decade ago with a spilt drink and a missed opportunity amongst two people destined to be together. Now ten years on, sexually frustrated Lucia Myers is seeing her friend as though it were the first time…

This is just brilliant I m luvin it

I can't believe how much I m luvin this series its so good an this book is the best so far it's just as hot as the first maybe even hotter an the story just got a whole lot better I couldnt get enough of this book from the start to the finished it had me hooked I was dyin to know how things were goin to go between Lucia an Sebastian

Things in this book were not so plain sailing for Lu an Seb but one thing that had got stronger was there relationship there was still a few times where things got a lil complained but they fought those times an the times where people tried to get in the way but this time Lu knew what she was up against but there is still someone who wants her an they won't stop until they get her even of she is Seb's

I have to say I m dyin to now who is causing al these problems I still have a feelin who it is but then I start doubting myself it's just what makes this book an series so good

Lu an Seb were even hotter in this book an then to add to the mix Abby Lu's bestie an Nathan Seb's brother who r a couple an just meant to b r just as hot I have the say the Silver Brothers r very sexy an know how to make a woman happy an I can't wait to for

This book was great an I m dyin to start the last book in the series I need to know so much there is so many questions I'm dyin to know what's goin to happen next again the characters r great an I want more from this crazy couple I recommend this it's so good xxx

This book had me crying like a water facet and laughing like a crazy person.

The One Addicted is the continuation of the first book.

This book starts out how Lucia handling herself after her last arrangements with Seb and found a devastated and broken woman. But she power through it and continues with her live, work and raising her little boy, Finn. When they finally see each other again due to work circumstances, things just got hot and heavy.

Will Seb’s and Lu’s bond get stronger or will it falls apart from people going against them?

Oooh Alexandra, you did it again. You had me laughing, crying and freaking out all within the same book!

The One Addicted is the second instalment in ‘The One’ Trilogy. So if you haven’t read the first book, please stop what you’re doing and get a copy asap!

At the start of this book we learn how Lucia coops after her last encounter with Seb and we find a devastated and broken woman. I really felt so bad for her! But as the Heroine as she is, she sucks it up and continues with her live, work and care for her sweet little boy. When the two see each other again due to work obligations sparks fly and things are getting hot and sweaty again!

But in the meantime danger is lurking and it soon looks like not everybody is so happy to see Seb and Lu together again.

I’m such a big fan of Seb and Lucia. Seb is you’re larger than life Alpha Male who protects and cares for what’s his (swoon!) and Lucia is a highly educated independent woman and mother who doesn’t take any crap whatsoever :-)
I especially liked that during the story Seb’s and Lu’s bond was getting stronger and stronger and although the end left me crying so hard you know (hope) they are going to make it somehow.

I really can’t wait for the book 3.

3-3.5 stars

As mentioned in my review of the first book, a good editor and typesetter would really help this book. From time to time, I had to reread to figure out who was saying what and there were punctuation and other errors. Also, I could hardly read the Stalker's notes... The font was so small and too complex to read. Please keep it simple and make it bigger and ditch the varied coloring!

The stalker element is an intriguing addition and while I know who it is now, for awhile it could have been at least one other, so that was well done. And the kernels of clues in book one and then this book that were pointing to this person before we were even aware of the stalking was good.

Overall, book 2 held my attention better than book 1, even if the Maldives bit was a little drawn out. The author does a good job of sprinkling little clues and hints throughout the story pointing to major plot points without being so obvious or blatant about them. You think you know, but then you find out it could be something else and that's enough doubt to keep things interesting.

Look forward to the conclusion in book 3.

I could not wait to get started on this book following book 1. After what happened in book 1 with Sebastian her best friend, Lucia Myers is not happy, she cannot trust him after what happened so she avoids him like the plague. But the ever so delicious Sebastian Silver tricks her into meeting up and Lucia cannot resist what her body hungers for. Sebastian is hell bent on convincing Lucia about the truth and wants her to continue with the agreement that they set up before about a months trial together. Sebastian does everything in his power to treat Lucia like a princess as he adores her and has done for years. But can he offer her more, and what she deserves. They set off on a path of twists, turns, shocks revelations and a lot of hot steamy sex. Enough to make the pages sizzle. But there are many obstacles they must face before they can have their HEA. But will they ever get there ? Another superb book by Alexandra I cannot wait until the last instalment of the trilogy, these books are a must read.

Alexandra North has done it again. Sebastian and Lucia are back and they are on fire! This story continues the proposition and takes you on an emotional roller-coaster with feelings of fear and joy. You just can't get enough of Seb and Lulu. I'm dying for the next book in this trilogy and any other books from Alexandra North.

I'm conflicted. Only because I'm left with a hole in my heart that is Sebastian and Lucia. Just when they have everything together, BAM! Another hurdle is thrown their way. I love how they come together, pun intended, and Sebastian won't take no for an answer. I'm on edge for the next book in this series.

Complimentary copy provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.

The One Addicted, the second book in The One Trilogy, picks up immediately where the first book leaves off. Lucia and Sebastian are on the outs after a woman claiming to be Sebastian’s girlfriend shows up, however it soon becomes apparent that there is more to the story than at first glance. Seems Toni is up to her old tricks in an attempt to break up the couple. But the pair prove that years of friendship and their budding romance mean far more to them than anything their past can throw at them and proceed to grow closer and closer.

Much of the book is spent exploring Lucia and Sebastian’s relationship, both emotionally and physically. There is a bit more angst than in the first book with a lot of time back and forth wondering how they fit into each other’s lives and making assumptions of how committed they are to each other, assuming the other is on board for just the “friends with benefits” relationship they had agreed to. Once they finally get their feelings out of the way, they can pursue the type of relationship they had always hoped to.

This volume though really starts to become intriguing in regards to the stranger that is stalking Lucia, and just how bold he is becoming. She is starting to pick up on clues that the stranger is leaving behind; as he gets bolder, he is getting sloppier. The book was already a great blend of sexy and hope for a lasting relationship, the added suspense makes it one that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Friends-to-lovers is one of my favorite tropes and I am very excited to see how it ends for Lucia and Sebastian (and Finn, I LOVE the dynamic of the three of them together). Due to the angst and waffling of the main characters (ugh! Just communicate already!) this one wasn’t quite up to par with the first, but I have no doubt that North plans for this series to go out with a bang!

This book is NOT a standalone. You will need to have read book one, The One Awakened before starting this one. Trust me, you’ll want to anyway, Sebastian Silver is all sorts of worth it!

Sebastian (Seb) & Lucia (Lu) have quickly become one of my favourite couples ever :)

The One Addicted picks up right where book one finished so if you haven't read The One Awakened yet then STOP & read it now - you won't be disappointed!!! After having her heart broken by Seb, Lu is trying to just make it through each day without falling apart. She still has her little man Finn to take care of and a very hectic & booming business to run so she pulls herself out of her heartbreak and throws herself back into work.

When Lu walked away from Sebastian he realised he made a huge mistake, he couldn't bear a life without Lu in it in someway but the problem is he craves her in every way possible. Convincing her to see the rest on the month-long agreement out will not be easy but the best things in life never are and if anyone is worth it to Seb it would be Lucia.

When the two must work side by side to finish their joint business venture together the sparks start to fly both physically and emotionally. The best way to describe this relationship is like two soul mates who have always recognised & been aware of their other half but it wasn't until the two collided in passion that they realised they could never survive without the other.

The journey of Seb & Lu in this book is beautiful as they discover what life together can be like if they leave their preconceived notions at the door and enjoy what's right in front of them. With children, ex's, stalker's, joint friends and their hearts on the line, life can turn complicated very quickly in the world of Seb & Lu but it's only through adversity that they grow & realise what's important to them.

The ending had me in tears as Lucia's stalker goes to extremes to make sure the love she has created with Seb is ruined and to make them realise they're not meant to be together. Will the stalker win or will the bond Seb and Lu have, see them through anything? I seriously can't wait for book#3 - bring it on Alexandra :)

I enjoyed this one a tad bit better than the first.. even though both seemed a bit too lengthy for me, and tended to drift off into things I wasn't too interested in.. for example when she was working on that project, me personally I could care less - what it looked like, who James was, who he was doing, yada yada yada.. I wanted to fast forward right to Lu and Sebastian and get to the juiciness.

So, the book starts off where book 1 ends.. Lu is heart broken, she is barely making it, and only faking for Finn's sake.. until her friend's stage a meeting with Sebastian and she gives him a second chance.. things start to look up, but now we have a Stalker in the mix, then throw in some insecurities, Sebastian's commitment issues, another secret, a horrid accident, and bam! A great love story with a thrill, however the Stalker had the last word!

ARR received for an honest review.

This book picks up straight after The One Awakened.

The trials and tribulations of Lucia and Sebastian, continue. With a certain person coming out of the woodwork, with the help of someone in who refuses to go away. The one that refuses to go away, put Sebastian in an unfortunate situation, that causes a rift between Lucia and Sebastian. Outside forces i.e. family and friends, are trying to get the two of them back together.

Things seem to go well for Sebastian and Lucia until something happens that could either tear them apart or make them stronger. The incident that mentioned brings to a head something that is unsavoury that is going on with Lucia, that she has failed to mention to Sebastian.

My favourite parts of the book are the times Sebastian, Lucia and Finn are together acting like any "normal" family should. Sebastian has stepped into the step-daddy role with such ease, compared to Finns dad who is a waste of space. Then the holiday that Sebastian books for him and Lucia, in my mind, I was wishing I was there. Also, not forgetting the sex scenes, I am surprised that Lucia isn't walking around with a permanent limp, with the amount of sex they both are having.

I have a theory of who is out there plotting to cause trouble for Sebastian and Lucia. Will not say but the clues are there or are they? Is the author trying to throw us off the scent. Well will have to wait and see.

Can't wait till the next book to find out who it is and to see if Lucia and Sebastian have the HEA.

I was given an ARC for an honest review.
The continuation of Lucia and Sebastian's story. One could never get enough of Sebastian. Alpha male, hot and dangerously sexy. That's exactly how Lucia saw him. Her best friend and soul mate. She knew he was it for her after their first night together but unfortunately Sebastian being the player that he was, she knew after her proposition was over they had to remain friends but did not know how they would manage that. She was so sexually attracted to him as he was to her. Only the site of each other had both of them wanting, needing each other in every way possible. They were both addicted to each other. Sebastian had to come to terms that she was really something special in his life and he wanted no other man to have her. Their connection was so obvious to everyone but themselves. Being on edge lately, Lucia had the feeling of being watched, but ruling it out as being just something made up in her head. A lot of times she felt the presence of someone else but never was able to see anyone, so she put that on the back burner, for now anyway. She never thought she would have a stalker, but she did. He watched her every move, wishing it could be him with her, never giving up on him and her together. Finally able to convince Lucia, Sebastian takes Lucia away. One week in Dubai, was pure bliss with Sebastian, Lucia never wanted it to end. But all things but end, right? The ending of this book will leave waiting to open Book 3. So well connected, this series is addicting.

** Provided on behalf of the author for an honest review **

The One Addicted starts where The One Awakened left off.

Lucia’s heart is broken.
She’s hurting.
She’s shattered.
Her best-friend and lover broke her heart.
She misses him.

So she does the only thing that she knows will get her through it.

She throws herself into her work and concentrates on her beautiful boy Finn.

And Sebastian.

He’s hurting.
He misses Lucia.
It’s all been a misunderstanding.
He craves her.
He needs her.
But how does he get to her to explain it?

And so begins the continuation of Lucia and Sebastian’s story.

A story about forgiveness, misunderstandings, hurt, pain, hope and love.

Will Lucia and Sebastian get through it?
Will they get their happy ever after?
Will their love survive?

But does someone have other ideas?
Who is lurking in the shadows?
Who is watching Lucia?
What do they want from her?
Is she safe?
Or will Lucia and Sebastian be destroyed at the hands of a stalker?

Alexandra North has yet delivered another brilliant read. Full of emotion, we simply couldn’t put it down. We felt the pain, the hurt and the love throughout the whole novel. And let’s just say, the sex…….Off the charts, hot, raw, steamy, damn hot!

For us we highly recommend everyone to place this on their TBR list.

A definite 5 star read

I was very happy to have the chance to review this second book in the trilogy. It had been awhile since I read the first juicy tale about Sebastian and Lucia so I needed a bit of a refresher. The book did not provide one like I had wished, but I went back to goodreads to awaken my mind. This is definitely a book to read in the series order and not as a standalone. You would miss too many enjoyable and important details otherwise.
Jump into the up and down relationship of millionaire Seb and single mom Lu. Best friends for over 10 years these two have a major past and have finally roused their sexual future. I love these two as a couple and have cheered them on from the beginning. But of course no relationship is ever easy!
Seb whisk Lu away on a massive vacation in this novel and they have many exhilarating nights. I must say the sex scenes in this novel were off the charts. Which I very much enjoy but I’m not sure it was very realistic. Either way I did enjoy knowing Seb could go at it over and over again. Lucky Lu!
I also loved the twists this novel took including a possible stalker watching Lu and also a very dramatic ending. Seb and Lu are put through a lot more than just happy adventurous times. Real life creeps in and isn’t so nice. I’m very anxious to see how they recover and what the future holds for them. All I do know is they will be together!

So let me start off by saying if you have not read Book 1 stop reading this now. This book picks up right where the first one left off. I was devastated at the end of book 1 and couldn't wait to read the next one. I am seriously in love with Seb and Lu. They have been best friends for 10 years and have discovered that they are much more than friends. I think they both always knew that the other was "the one" and just didn't admit it to themselves. So with book 1 we saw them really connect and explore their relationship and what they were to each other and then with this one we see the deep rooted love they have for each other. I will say there were a few twists and a few "URGH" people that make you want to scream and throw your kindle. Ms. North you have me hooked, line and sinker with this story. I can honestly say that I am ADDICTED to Seb and Lu. This whole series will be ones that I will be buying in paperback and rereading them many, many times. They have very quickly become at the top of my favorites list!! Now, please oh please hurry up with book 3. I am dying here!! This series is a MUST READ!!! I wish I could rate it higher than 5++ AMAZEBALLS stars because in my eyes it truly deserves it!!

After being somewhat disappointed with the first book in the series, I was happier with the second. My main complaint about book one, that Lucia and Sebastian's hot/cold behaviour was too frustrating and hard to comprehend, was thankfully not present in this book - finally, our protagonists connect and start building a real relationship. There's still drama, of course, but at least I could relate to them and the choices they made. I still felt that the secondary characters were too exaggerated, but they seemed to play smaller roles in this book. Some of the plot lines were rather predictable, and dragged on for too long before they got interesting. Thankfully there are some great sex scenes to make up for it! Finally, like the first book, I felt a good editing would really help - lots of little typos that made for a confusing read, and multiple continuity errors that forced me to jump back and reread to see what had I missed or misunderstood.

I give the book 3.5 stars because I do like the main characters, and I'll likely read the last book when it's released to find out what happens. Improved editing would bump it up to 4 stars.

Alex has quickly become one of my favorite authors and I am absolutely addicted to this trilogy. If I could give both books more than 5 stars, I would!

The One Addicted picks up where The One Awakened left off with both Lucia and Sebastian (and me) heartbroken. Despite all the obstacles that are thrown at them, they both value their friendship above everything else which makes the bond between them that much stronger. They know there's no question about needing to be in each others lives; they just need to figure out what those roles they need to be.

I loved that my emotions were always in a state of confusion; one vicious cycle of laughing, crying, anger, concern and hotness - serious hotness!

Even though Sebastian keeps me thoroughly enthralled, the additional twist/mystery makes this story even more intriguing. Just when I think I have it figured out, I'm thrown.

Oh and let me just say, being a single mom myself, the way Sebastian treats little Finn makes me swoon even more.

I am so excited for the third book...sleep and work be damned when it is released!

Oh my, has the player, Sebastian, finally realized a long-term commitment is what will make him happy? Will Lucia be able to trust that Sebastian really wants a relationship? Lucia and Sebastian continue to steam up the pages as they explore the possibilities of a future together. Of course, along the way there are some catty woman that try to split them apart that adds fuel to the drama. We also get to experience Lucia's stalker, we don't know who it is yet, though there are hints and I think I know, but it's still a mystery. As things are looking up for Lucia and Sebastian, the stalker gets aggressive, will they find their HEA? Who is this stalker?

My only other comments go to the editing/language being used in the story. There is a lot of British slang and odd abbreviations that made it harder for me to read/follow along with typos and missing words but the overall story is worth the effort to experience this journey.

I was given this book from the author in return for a review.

I absolutely loved this book! Lu and Seb are so good together. I have only written one other review because I lurve (you'll get it from the books) to read words not so good at writing them.

I really loved both of these books but this one a Smidge more. because I was so excited to see what was going to happen! In Addicted the book picks up right where Awakened ended.

I am really enjoying the road Seb & Lu are on in finding their relationship. Lu finding that she can trust Seb & Seb finally realizing he is in love with Lu (don't they always take longer ladies??)

Our creepy stalker (I have 2 guesses on who that is) is still around getting more creepy, scary and unhinged by the page. I've laughs and cried during these two books and I cannot wait for book 3 to come out and see what happens!

This is the continuation of Sebastian and Lucia’s story from The One Awakened. They are still trying to get it together and are having a few dramatic moments that make it seems like the maybe they made a mistake with trying to be more than friends.

The author does such a good job in keeping you in touch with the feelings of the characters and the story picks up where it left off in the and 1st book. Sebastian and Lucia both have their fears of maybe the love is not real or it won’t last, but during the course of this book where they travel together, work together, and play together they realize that the bond they’ve had through the years is worth trusting in.

I found this book even better than the first, and I am so looking forward to the next installment.

5 delicious lady stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

LOVE LOVE LOVE Oh my........Sebastian what a fine specimen you are. This is the second book in the series and wow excellent run on from book 1, planned and set out at a great pace thoroughly enjoyed the different POV's. The secondary characters are great kept me engrossed throughout I can visually see them all. Again it's angsty but not as much as the first we get to see Sebastian & Lucia grow into something more, considering they were friends first so they are just finding their feet as an intimate couple and they are HOT the sexcapades again are plentiful and plenty HOT lol..........This time though it had me tearing up and I was gutted for them. It keeps you guessing and wondering WHO? can't wait to read the next instalment of Sebastian & Lucia

I was kindly given the opportunity to read this second book to Lucia and Sebastian's story, in exchange for an honest review.
The book picks up where the first installment left off. Sebastian is devastated and determined to win Lucia back.
To do so, he has to admit his love for her. She is not a one-month stand, she is the one. He is ready to do anything to keep her by his side.
There is hurt, pain and communication issues leading to misunderstandings, but so much love and emotions.
As you come to expect from the first part of the trilogy, this book was hot and truly unputdownable.
To top this all off, there are elements of suspense, with Lucia's insane stalker becoming dangerous.
I can't wait to read the final book in the trilogy.

This second book was much deeper and more intense than the first one.

Sebastian is drool worthy with so much going for him. Lucia and Seb are building a wonderful relationship despite all the roadblocks popping up for them. As their relationship grows so do their problems and the creepiness of Lucia's stalker.

I won't go into further detail on this book but I will gladly recommend you pick up your own copy because there is so much going on and the pace moves at a smooth and perfect pace.

Now the only problem I'm experiencing is the wait for the third and final book. It just can't come fast enough. So many paths to follow and my stomach is doing flip flops waiting for the final bit of this absolutely fabulous series~

5 "I Adore You" stars

This one was so much better than the first book. For one you really start to see Sebastian's and Lucia's relationship blossom. Also I was eating up the pages just to find out what was going to happen next involving everyone who is fighting to keep these too apart and before I knew it I was at the end. Let's not forget Finn, that kid had me laughing out loud at times. But before the end you will feel all sorts of emotions for these two as well as some tears. I am very excited to read the conclusion of Sebastian's and Lucia's story.

After reading book two I would highly recommend this series for fans of Fifty, This Man Series, and Crossfire Series.
