**** 4 Cranky Stars ****

Unexpected Changes is the second book in A.M. Willard's Chances series. It continues Tabitha and Carter's story that we were first introduced to in Unexpected Chances.

Change: It’s something that comes with seasons, life, and love.

Tabitha has convinced herself that love isn't worthy of change—it’s only for the people around her, as she watches from the sidelines. The former glitter queen has turned dark and grey, even though she still holds a glimmer of light for the chance at love.

Both Carter and Tabitha are on a journey for the change they desire, but is it too late to reconcile a love they both deserve?

Lives will change as secrets are revealed. Trust is rebuilt as two broken hearts find their way back together as one.

Secrets can destroy your life and ruin relationships. Can Tabitha and Carter’s survive the vindictive nature of Carters family?

There were parts in this story where I wanted to climb into the book and start kicking ass.

AM Willard writes a tale of deception and love that pulls you in and doesn't let you go. I love her characters and feel as if we're old friends.

Can Tabitha and Carters rocky relationship survive the torture and deceit from the outside world? You will have to read this story and the series to find out.

This is a must read series. It will suck you in and blow your mind with the events that take place.

I have to re-iterate that you need to have read book one “Unexpected Chances” before you start this book.
Unexpected Changes begins it weave its magic right from the first page but it is taking up the baton directly from the events that were abound at the end of the first book, so you have to be up on the plot, because this is the culmination of Carter and Tabitha’s story.
Carter is up to his eyes in all sorts of crazy, including the situation with Bethany,which is proving to be just about enough to drive him completely mad. It is almost as if his past and the lunacy that around him is conspiring against him, jepordising the relationship that he really wants, the woman he wants – Tabitha.
The book is a great read, a romantic journey to a happy ever after that was well earned and thoroughly deserved.
Although I have to say that I was thankful that the uncertainty wasn’t dragged out, that Carter’s issues were addressed and resolved and that both Carter and Tabitha had a chance to show those around them that they were right to fight for what they want, that they are meant to be together.

Yet another satisfied A.M Willard reader, that’s for sure. Unexpected Changes is the sequel to the Chances series. I have to say, after reading Unexpected Chances, I really wanted to just jump right into this one, but I had to finish up a bit of my queue before then. I read this book in a day, eager to find out how things ended up for the lovely, sassy Tabitha and the heartbreaking, irresistible Carter. I was not disappointed... (More via Website)

5 Crazy Ass Must Read Stars!!!!!

I had to go back and re-read Unexpected Chances to refresh my memory on. I intended on just skimming through but got dragged back into the story. I'm glad I did because it made reading this better.
I enjoyed the conclusion to Carter and Tabitha's story. It was a roller coaster ride of emotions that had me glued to my kindle.

You must read Unexpected Chances first.

This book continues where Unexpected Chances left off. The flow from one book to another was great. I have to be honest because I didn't love the first book and wasn't sure if I wanted to read this one. I am so glad I did. I think the reason I didn't love the first book was the characters hadn't truly developed and I felt like something was missing. Well A.M. Willard definitely gave me what I wanted in this book. We follow more of Carter and Tabitha's story as well as catching up with Angela, Logan, Seth, Jessica, Kelly, Cory and many others. We also learn more truths to the lies that were hidden and destroyed many lives. This book was amazing and brought me to tears. If you have never read any of A.M.'s books you need to, she is an incredible Author and she makes her readers feel every word on the page and pulls you into her stories that she weaves around your heart.

A.M Willard weaves a wonderful book. This is the continuum story of Tabitha and Carter. We get a more look into what Tabitha is feeling and who is always by her side helping her with these dark issues. Of course we have some crazy women that just wants to destroy their happiness and Bethany is set in getting it any way she can. You will feel all the emotions with this story and will totally enjoy the end. Highly recommend this book.

~~~~~~~~~~Dee's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~
Perfect title for this book! Many, many changes occur in the lives and personalities of the characters. The biggest one being the love life of Tabby Cat and Lover Boy. In the beginning of this book, a few revelations surface about the conspiracy and control of Carter's life for the past decade. But the plot thickens with more mystery and many unanswered questions. Challenges to our lovers sometimes brings pain, certainly frustration, confusion and discouragement. An incident with Cory became a turning point in Tabitha's mental state; a chance encounter of Carter with Bethany made a big change in Carter. Entertaining story with a beautiful ending/beginning. I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
~~~~~~~~~~Amanda's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~

The sequel to Unexpected Chances and a perfect ending. This series is beyond breathtaking and will not leave you disappointed. You will not only want to laugh but you will be holding back tears and a little anger. There were just enough details to leave you satisfied and wanting to finish Tabitha and Carter's story. You must read Unexpected Chances before Unexpected Changes.

~~~~~~~~~~~Sharlene's ★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~
After discovering just how deceitful Carter has been, Tabitha closes down once again. Where will this twist in their story lead them? Tabitha definitely does some soul searching in this one. She relies heavily on her friends and good thing too because they are full of wisdom. Carter is still hot after Tabitha but is still having the same troubles he had in the first book. Although they are moving along, will he ever be free? I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, so to speak. But it just kind of faded away instead. Once again the characters are well developed. The same secondary characters return in this second installment of the Chances Series. There are some sex scenes in this book but they don't go into great detail, just enough to let you know what is going on. The author must love to travel because she has poor Tabitha flying all over the place in this one. lol Typically cliffhanger stories (first installment) don't usually float my boat, but I truly liked this story and these characters so that made up for it.
This is not a stand alone but does have an HEA.
~~~~~~~~~~Lillian's ★★★★✰ Review~~~~~~~~~~

Book 2 in my opinion was even better than the first one. It takes us back to Tabitha & Carter. Things have really gone downhill for them. Will Carter ever be free from his wife and get to be with Tabitha and not fear for her safety.

Tabitha can't do this with Carter anymore he has broken her heart and she wants nothing to do with him. She tries to put on a brave face and she throws herself into her new role in the company. But Carter won't give up that easy he needs her to be his life and he will make sure that he gets the documents that he needs to get away from the Edwards family.

Will they ever get their chance at a life together or will it be over before it even begins. It is really hard not to give anything away. The book just got better as you go along. The character's personalities came out more and you got to read more about the other characters. I am sure that there are many more books to come as there are stories that need to be told. I am happy to recommend this series so far to my fellow readers. I received a ARC in exchange for an honest review

Lord where do I start?! I love this story. It hit all the right emotions laughing, wanting to throw my kindle, even becoming a blubbering mess. A. M. Willard has done it again. She knows how to bring you as if you are one of the characters. If you haven't read this story yet it's a must read. I do suggest you read the one night series because you will meet Tabby in it as it's a story about her best friend. You will also catch a glimpse is Carter. However back to the book we go.

First let me touch base on how we left Unexpected Chances. At the end Tabby and Carter are not talking. So when you start Unexpected Changes you are questioning who our Tabby Cat is going to choose. Will Carter get away from his crazy wife and get family? Well I guess you will have to read to find out. All I'm going to say is either way you won't be disappointed. Well I know I wasn't anyway.

A. M. Babe you done it again just as you always have. Now you are sitting there reading this thinking what did I do. Right? I'll just tell you. You've knocked me on my ass. You've dove this from book one. As I told you back then I'm still saying it again I'll always be the Tabby to your Angela.

Tabitha is working herself to the point of exhaustion. Her best friend Angela had her baby boy Graham and she is in New York. Carter knows that its time for the truth no matter who it hurts in the end. Jack is with Carter and Mark is in New York keeping an eye on Tabitha. Tabitha has made a decision that she is going to have a baby but she passed out in the building. Mark called Carter and told him about Tabitha passing out. Cory has been there through it all to pick up the pieces of Tabitha after she broke. She went to Seattle to confront Carter and leave but things happened.
Tabitha is very exhausted, she is having problems with the copier at the office. She is godmother to Graham and she is going to spoil him rotten. Carter is doing what he can to get out from under the Edwards family. He knows that he is going to have to do everything that he can to get Tabitha to forgive him. Angela is living in New York and she is very happy. She doesn't want Tabitha to spoil Graham. Logan's wife. Logan is Angela's husband. Seth is Tabitha's brother, Jessica's boyfriend. Jessica is pregnant, refuses to move in with Seth. Seth's girlfriend. Works at SHI. Kelly is Carter's friend and works for Carter as his personal assistant. Mark works as a PI with Jack. He is in New York keeping an eye on Tabitha. Jack is Carter's friend and a PI. Cory is Tabitha and Seth's friend. He is with Meredith.
This is the second book in the Chances series and you need to read the first book before you read this one. This is another amazing read by AM Willard. I was drawn in from the first page, the story is very well written and the characters are very well developed. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

This is the conclusion to Tabitha and Carter's story it starts off where the other one left off. To get the full impact you must read book one first. I have to say I did enjoy this one much more than the first one. Most of the question were answered but leave a few more unanswered. The author has grown as a writer with no repeats of what was said before, she may have touched on what one said but it was not repeated. This alone brought this story up a star in my book.

I would have liked to have seen how he told the board they were fired, along with if his father-in-law was brought down and what all he was into, how the father played into all this beside the affair. I was nice to see how things were between the two main characters after two years of being together but I would have like to have known about Tabitha brother how things ended with him and his girlfriend along with Cory I believe he might have an interest in Kelly.

Carter is hot and cold so is Tabitha with their on and off again relationship. Leave me alone no call me later. Carter has his reason as does Tabitha neither can stay away long from the other. Bethany his wife did a 360 she comes across as a totally different woman than book 1. This was a woman I could like but man did she do a flip side.

Unexpected Changes is a sweet love story that that has some bumps along the way that must be overcome before the lovers can have HEA. The author gives a few surprises and a little humor that will shock you and make you smile. With all the writing style changes the author did between the two books I found this to be a good read. Fans of A.M. Willard are going to love this ending to the series.

Okay! Amazing Sauce, doesn't cut it! I {HEART} A.M. Willard!!! She blew me away with the first book, and she just kept topping off my tank with this sip of extra cool water! Her writing style is great and so intense, that like I said before, it just draws you in. I love and hated a lot of the characters. But this was a great second book to the Unexpected Series! although, it was very hard to like the antagonist from the first book, even if that person had a change of heart. It just seemed too easy! But whatever, I loved this book anyways.

Within this tale, we continue with the destined love story of Tabitha Jean Michaelson and Carter Northwood. Both have their dark and dreaded past, Carter more so than Tabitha. But how can you stay away from what your heart yearns for the most? How can one bright light be so bad for you? I don't want to give to many details out, but just know there is a great H.E.A. within the book. And I cannot wait for the next story.

I loved Tabitha's spunkiness, but there were definite times I wanted to reach within the book and strangle her! And O.M.G., your belly will hurt from laughing so hard from her ridiculous antics! And Poor Carter! He has to learn how to be open with her closed door of a heart, and how to draw her in, plus tame his wild Tabby Cat.

Great Book, when's the next?!

I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Unexpected Changes by A.M. Willard is a follow-on to Unexpected Chances and cannot be read as a stand-alone novel. This second book wraps up Tabitha's and Carter's story.

Unexpected Changes picks up pretty much at Unexpected Chances' cliff hanger. Carter's secrets are impacting the possibility of a real relationship. His farcical marriage to Bethany is driving him crazy. The conspiracy that has overshadowed his life for ten years has become unbearable. Tabitha is a light at the end of Carter's tunnel.

The tumultuous budding relationship between Carter and Tabitha as well as the rising suspense of Carter's bleak and controlled life is wrapped up quickly and conveniently early in Unexpected Changes. Tabitha and Carter are free to pursue a relationship. They just need to convince family and friends that they are soul mates who are final on the right track.

Unexpected Changes is a sweet love story that contains a few ripples that the lovers must overcome, but it ultimately provides a savory HEA that A.M. Willard fans will thoroughly enjoy.

Loved it!
This is the second book in this series, and if you haven't read the first book. Stop here and go back and read Unexpected Chances, you'll love it. That being said, I couldn't wait to read this after the cliffhanger from the first book. This book picks up where the last one left off, and gives us all of the answers that we've been looking for, and wraps up Tabitha and Carter's story. Tabitha and Carter have really put me through the wringer, but I just love them to death. I just wanted to hug Tabitha, and tell her everything was going to be alright, but was it? Would the secrets, and craziness keep her from finding happiness, or is there still a chance for her? During the journey with these two characters I have laughed, and cried, been super frustrated, shook my head and sighed. It is really heart wrenching at times. I just love this author, she really knows how to get you, she pushes all of the right buttons to give you a fabulous read. I won't give anymore details of the book, because I don't do spoilers, and I also don't repeat the synopsis because if you're reading this, it's got to be somewhere on the page. I will say though, if you liked the sound of the synopsis, read the series, it's even better than it sounds. I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the conclusion to Tabitha and Carter's story. Unexpected Changes starts right off where Unexpected Chances left off. You must read Unexpected Chances before reading Unexpected Changes.
I LOVED these two books!! Tabitha and Carter's relationship is a bumpy one. Just like with any relationship, there can be issues that arise that are out of anyone's control. I really enjoyed Carter and Tabitha's journey and their story. This book pulls at your heart strings when everything is revealed. I do not give spoilers so you will need to read and find out for yourself if they get the HEA or if Tabitha decides to go for the new change and finds someone else.
A.M. Willard is an amazing author and I truly love her writing style. I have read and enjoyed all of her books. I highly recommend all of A.M. Willard's books.

Changes

Loved the story about tabby cat (Tabitha) and lover boy (Carter). There are new changes both are going through.
I did not think Bethany would change, but I guess when circumstances are different people change. I never would have guessed the identity of her new love interest.
It is so sweet how Tabitha's family and friends make it clear to Carter that he has to be good to her and watch his back. Loved the thermos crazy incident. Loved the part where Tabitha realized what her mother folder her was true.
My mother talked to me when I had hit rock bottom and said I’d know when I found the one I was meant to be with. ‘Wow’ is how I can explain that statement.

This book was filled with twists and turns. I love the way A.M. writes, it flows so easy and some parts are like poetry. I've heard this was the end of the story for Carter and Tabitha, I hope that at some point they will have a novella or some other story written about them. I love them. This story was kinda intense. With all the things that happened to Tabitha and especially all the things that happened to Carter. I'm trying so hard not to give spoilers. I will just say this, I loved this book and I didn't want it to end at some points. I give this book 5 stars, it deserves every one of them.

Love Love Love!!! After reading Unexpected Chances, I had an absolute dislike for Bethany. After Unexpected Changes, that dislike went down the teeniest tiniest bit. Felt sorry for her but not that much. Tabitha and Carter on the other hand - ahhh!! So happy for the two of them and they finally got their happily ever after. Love doesn't always find at the right times or situations, but in the end it finds us and works out. No two people could have deserved to find love and each other more than them.

Carter and Tabitha's story continues! But can they overcome all the hurt and pain that occurred during Unexpected Chances? Will Carter ever be free from the chains of his past. Can Tabitha look past the pain she suffered from the secrets kept?

Unexpected Changes is truly a story about change. Change that occurs after hard time, change that makes your life better and allows you to see that there is a glimmer of hope for a happy ever after.

A fun romantic read where although both characters are strong characters, you still see so much growth and change from them throughout the story!

I just fell in love with Carter and Tabitha all over again. I just loved this book and this series.. This book picks up right where the first one left off. Tabitha is trying to get on with her life with little success and Carter is trying to right his life so he can be what Tabby needs.

I just loved this book and the series. The author pulls you right in and keeps you reading and turning pages LOVE LOVE LOVE

So glad to see how things played out after the 1st book.

This was a pretty cute read. I enjoyed the first book, Unexpected Chances, enough that I had to see how things ended. Tabitha is a humorous character that I've become quite fond of. So, I wanted to see if she got her happily ever after or not. Carter was an unfinished puzzle at the end of the first book, so it was nice to get the rest of his story.

If you liked Unexpected Chances, then read this book, too. Reading this one may have made me like the first book a little more. I feel like I have the full story now.

***Please read Unexpected Changes (The Chances Series Book 1) this is not a stand-alone book.***

The story picks up where the cliffhanger ended. Readers will have all the right emotions from laughing, crying, screaming, to loving the book.

I found book 2 at step in all its twists and turns aka it got better and better writing wise. Secondary characters are sharper and the story unfold with great love for each personalities.

By the end of the book the readers will be so sucked in thinking this ride was needed for all events which took place.

Wow! Fun Story

The first book, Unexpected Chances, ended on such a cliff hanger I was a little angry since I thought I'd have to wait to see the ending. This book, Unexpected Changes, is a fun, sassy read. You do need to read the first book to understand the story.

I enjoyed the relationships between all the characters maybe because mine are similar. Showing the inner struggles of the relationship and how we can be our own worst enemy is what kept this such a fun read

I look forward to seeing more from this series.

Tabitha and Carter's story continues in book two of the Chances Series. I was completely taken away by the emotions within this story. Tabitha isn't just the sassy woman that you believe she is. She has deeper issues than anyone could've imagined and Carter helps her through those tough times. This book has it all. You will laugh, cry, scream, but most of all you will fall in love with Tabitha and Carter's story immediately. Great Job!

Another sexy and strong book by A.M. Willard. Was very anxious for this release. I just love this group of friends and all they experience and share. I try never to blow the story for those who are checking reviews so to sum this up, I loved the story with its twists and turns and the humor. I loved this book. Loved the sparkle and the pink and Tabatha's sass. Such a fun read that made a long airplane ride bearable. And who wouldn't want Carter to keep them company...
