Beautiful illustrations, a sweet tale of accepting the differences in people, even if you are the one who feels different and one young author to watch VERY closely! Bearly Different by debut author Kayla Carbone and co-author, Janine Carbone is a light, fun read designed for younger readers, is sure to become a bedtime favorite as it celebrates the differences in us all. Perfect for family reading and discussion, Kayla Carbone has shown her chops as an author who knows how to write for children.

Henry’s family is going on a picnic. Everything’s packed and ready, and the park is full of families enjoying the day. Henry notices that each person is different and decides to play a game of pretend, to be the most different of all! Join his family’s fun adventure as well as revel in the vivid illustrations, rich with color and action of their own!

Celebrate with Henry, share this book with the children you know, share a family moment talking about the story, the pictures and instill the love of books and diversity from an early age. Charming, warm and family oriented, a must own, must share, must read! Because, no matter how different we are on the outside, we have more in common than you think.

I received this ARC edition from Kayla Carbone in exchange for my honest review.
