Rayne is getting the chance of a lifetime to live out her dream as a newly signed R&B singer at A-Town Productions. Side Story
Rayne seems to be the one who really believe in fairytales, when her family don't. Her music career seems like it will take off soon but seeing how her mother was also trying to be a singer and how she conceived her twins. Chase really believe in Rayne and he wants to really take her to the top. Brooke is a conniving Bitch and I can't wait until her past catches up with her. Toya needs to let her sister fall on her face. James is just plain nasty how are you trying help destroy your cousin happiness. I can't wait until his and Brooke secret comes out.

Great read
Well written--this story is true to the title as Rayne & Brooke continue to battle for the prize--Chase. Brooke seems to have all types of tricks for Rayne to contend with. Great page turning beginning to series written by Tiece & Tonii! Looking forward to reading part 2

If you haven't read this, stop reading my review and one click now! I hope that Brooke goes on with her life and can find happiness. You can't constantly nag a person and, think you will not drive them away. What Brooke revealed at the bar while talking to James, made my jaw drop. Brooke may think her secrets are safe but, I have a feeling they are about to be aired. Who will it be, Rayne or Brooke? I hope Rayne be able to take on all the drama that's about to go down. Can't wait for part 2! #teamRayne

interesting storyline that kept my attention from the very start. true to the title, Rayner will not settle for less than the number one position in Chase's life. However Brooke is not having that! I definitely need to see how this is going to turn out with these two ladies and all the underlying secrets that are being kept concerning Brooke's past

This book was just ok
It is a really slow read. It gets somewhat good at the end. But it's hard to root for Rayne or chase because they both shady fa real. And chase trying to act like he didn't cause Brookes insecurities by cheating in the pass is annoying. He trying to play the victim just so he can basically cheat again. And Rayne is annoying. Trying to act like she is so honorable when she know he is in a relationship and she is just being the groupie waiting around to be with him. Yea definitely not reading the second one.

Oh my! This was a great read. First off let me just say that I love this author. Her stories seem so real. And so far from what I’ve read all her characters seem so familiar. I love that! Can’t wait to read part 2!!

This book had the potential to be a five star read for me. Unfortunately I kept having to make corrections in my head to the grammar and spelling in order to make the story flow. The characters were interesting, the storyline was interesting. Unfortunately due to poor or lack of editing the story the authors attempted to tell was lost on me.

This book was fantastic. Brooke is crazy and she can only blame herself for pushing Chase away. When he finds out the truth he's gonna kill Brooke and James. I hope Rayne don't get hurt in all this drama. She is just so sweet and I hope her life don't turn out like her mama's. 💙💙

Oh wow!!!
This was a pretty good book with a few errors. Man I truly wish Brooke would just go on with her life and stop being so trifling. Why cause so much drama when you know things have changed?! I actually liked Chase. He saw what he wanted and even though he slipped up a few times I think things could actually work between him and Rayne. Rayne is the laid back type and I wanted her to go to Brooke's ass just once!!! She did have her naive moments though being as know she thinks her situation will be all peachy. Damn James is a straight disappointment. I see why him and Jeremy aren't as close as they should be. I hope Winter gives him a run for his money. Ugh Brooke desperate ass was doing the most. I couldn't believe she tried keeping Mason away knowing how he was conceived. If anything she should be thanking Chase instead of causing so many problems. She has way too many issues! And boom, things are about to get real!!! Brooke truly is sleeping on Rayne but I can't wait until Ms. laid back shows her what she's really made of. I'm ready for part 2 to get some answers. Will James and Brooke be able to continue keeping their secret, did Brooke get someone to piss for her, will Brooke's past finally catch up with her, will the beast come out of Rayne full force, and will Chase keep his word??!!

I read the other reviews to ensure I wasn't being too critical. This could have been condensed to a much shorter version. I can hardly believe Rayne would be held in such high regard when she basically ruined someone's life. If he hadn't been so distracted, he may have turned around and given Brooke another chance. You can't just hurt someone that you truly love like that; but he couldn't think clearly. He was worthless. He and Rayne deserve each other, in the worst way possible.
The story line is immoral. There is way too much intimate detail and disrespect. The errors and elementary style writing left much to be desired.

Ugh!!!! Very disappointed!!!!
Well I was very anxious to read this book so I immediately got it. It started off slow but I continued to read it. By the middle of the book I'm skipping around trying to not stop reading it. There wasn't a lot of drama or subjects to keep me interested like all of TIECE's previous books. I only finished because I still wanted to know what would happen. Well I'm still disappointed but the ending gave me a little hope so I might read part 2. I might!

Good read
I really enjoyed this book. Won't give any details but I don't understand why there has to be a part 2. Why can't it just be one good book? It's so aggravating because it takes so long for the second book to come out that you have forgotten what the first book was about. But nevertheless it was a good read.

The book is okay,but I really didn't like how the person named Brooke was done. I understand that Chase wasn't in love with her,to jump into a new relationship as soon as you walk out,that's so messed up.I read this book and were not happy with it. I wish Brooke would just understand that at least he came and told her and he didn't cheat. Eaten I think your getting into more than you can swallow . This is a great story. In these types of stories, I can usually side with the new chick but that is not the case with this story. I have a real dislike for Chase and Rayne.

This book captured my attention from the beginning. I love the bond that Rayne and her twin sister Winter share. The characters were very realistic. I enjoyed the complicity of Brooke and Chase's character. I'm excited to see how everything unfolds in part 2.
