She nursed for 20 years, working in a variety of settings from the newborn nursery to the recovery room, to dialysis. But she never lost her desire to write.
She sold her first book in 1994 to Silhouette Romance but later discovered she had a flair for comedy and branched out to Harlequin Duets and now, to Blaze.
Lori is an adventuresome soul who loves to travel. She’s taken flying lessons, completed two marathons, rode in a hot-air balloon, performed with a professional jazz band, traveled Europe as a teenager, hiked volcanoes in Hawaii, trod on glaciers in Alaska, shot white-water rapids, water-skied, snow-skied, raced all-terrain vehicles, bodysurfed in the Gulf of Mexico, and photographed grizzly bears in Yellowstone.
She lives in her native Texas, with her own real-life hero, Bill.

Enjoyable
This was a fun story about taking chances, facing fears, falling in love with your very best friend, taking a leap of faith, and finding your HEA.
That being said, I was a little disappointed in all of the errors. One, especially, went “He wanted him.” I do believe SHE wanted him. Overall, I enjoyed the storyline and Lori is one of my favorite authors.

Engaging continuation of the Heartthrob Hospital series!
Jack loves his neighbor CeeCee, but she is convinced her family has been jinxed to never marry happily. To combat this, she will not allow herself to get close to any guy. So he pretends to be his wild twin Zach, who would only want a wild fling. How long can he pretend to be his brother? What will happen when she finds out the truth? Read this to find out! It was funny and kind of sad at the same time.
The pace is fast and the tone is uncertain yet hopeful with a character oriented storyline that has some steamy scenes. The characters are vivid and engaging. It was an interesting concept for the story, but I did feel it was starting to go on for too long. I can't wait to read Janet's story next!

Ni bueno, ni malo. Esperé un poco más de comedia, a pesar de que tenia momentos que pueden salvarla, pero que no llegan a completar el contexto de comedia romántica.
