SKYWAY INTERPRETER

Rate this book
A journey is not just a physical shift. It is also a meta-physical phenomenon loaded with meanings. Every action and every event on way, hints at the immediate and also the larger meaning. A simple question like “Where are you going?” can get us thinking about the deeper dimensions of life. This book is inspired by the symbolism embedded in a plane journey.

The tight protocols of boarding a plane, constrained yet comfortable waiting spaces, long expanse of runways, the co-ordinated bustle of the staff, the take-off on a shimmering runway, the dynamic balance of the plane in the air and the turbulence- all these events present a heady mix of ingredients that seem to provide answers to a lot of questions that life poses at us.

Skyway Interpreter is a memoir of an aware mind, trying to balance the physical and the meta-physical worlds as he takes the flight for the first time. Though there is a sequence of events, yet this book can be read from anywhere to anywhere.

Amazing style and simplicity with which the author connects an air journey to life mysteries. He beautifully connects the wait at the airport, the take-off, the turbulence and the landing at a philosophical level, yet so revealing and applicable to each one of us!
