Reid McDaniels makes no bones about it. He’s crazy about Lola, and only wants the chance to show her how good it can be between them. But just when he thinks happiness is within reach, his past rears its ugly head and threatens everything he and Lola have been working toward…

Getting tired of Reid and Lo for real. The stories are too short to really get into to start with. Add to that they take a minute for the next to come out so you really have to go back and reread the last to pick up on what's going on. But add in the fact that nothing is really going on and it's just not that good. I thought Sherri was going to be a problem but it seems she's not even worth mentioning in the story. The relationship between the two is so off and on, you get to this and want it to just be over with. Not sure if I'd read the next one but if it's as bland as this one then I doubt it if it's not free.
A fantastic ending to the McDaniel Brother's Trilogy. Reid and Lola are perfection. This story was witty, charming, suspenseful and absolutely sinful. I loved loved loved this story.
We continue with Reid and Lola in this one and how their relationship is developing and growing.
I can’t say much more except that I love them. I truly, truly love them and want things to turn out great for them.
In this one we finally see that they are finally giving each other a chance and then bam! something happens involving Reid’s mother that could really hurt Reid and his brothers. What I loved the most was that Reid didn’t let that interfere with him and Lola. It’s them against the world now, and I freaking loved it.
I’m kinda sad that there is only one book left in Reid’s story and the overall series. I’m really gonna miss these brothers and the women they love. :-)
Part two of Lola and Reid, she is fighting her feelings for him, not wanting to regret the undone as her mother did. However he is pretty irresistible. Finally working through some issues Lola realizes she doesn't want to miss this chance for happiness. They are good together, hot and fun times...until the past becomes the present. A past Reid cannot face and Lola pushes on him.
As much as they want each other, this just might be too much to overcome with their new fragile love.
I need part three. Can they have their HEA? Can they overcome the past and face the future together?
I am loving how everything happens so fast. There's drama, but at the same time Reid and Lola really cut the bullshit. From book 1 to book 2 they've gone from zero to a hundred, back to zero and then a hundred again. I enjoy twists in the books I read and the author did a pretty good job incorporating one into this story. I am really looking forward to seeing how things will unfold in the next book since a certain relationship appears to be FUBAR.
Loved this installment and I hope we don't have to wait too long for the final in the series. Reid and Lola's relationship is finally shaping up when Sherri McDaniels, Mother from hell, shows up again. It will be interesting to see how the brothers deal with her. I definitely recommend this entire series.
The wait for the third book just might kill me. I love Reid. I am afraid of what is to come and how he and Lola will work through it. Amazing installment to Reid and Lola's story.
