There are two things Harper Lynch wasn’t expecting when she made out with an attractive stranger at her aunt’s wedding.

One: He would show up on her doorstep two weeks later as the son of an old family friend.

Two: That he would be staying in her house, right next door to her.

If living together isn’t enough, Duke starts to go to Harper’s school for the year, and immediately earns the status of the senior heartthrob. Suddenly, Harper, the girl who keeps mostly to herself and spends a lot of time in her room watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathons, is the envy of every girl in her high school.

Harper couldn’t care less, and despite that fact that she has insisted that she has in no interest in Duke, she is still subject to the wrath of jealous, catty bitches and the admiration of wide-eyed freshmen. It really doesn’t help that Duke is constantly flirting with her in his own irritating yet charming way.

Harper refuses to be yet another conquest, but is that what Duke wants?

Or does he want more?

I have started and finished this book in just one sitting. Its a good book if your looking for some light read and the characters here were kinda realistic.

So as I read the beginning of the story it's really interesting to find out that the shy/quiet type Harper made out with some stranger and that stranger turned out to be the one whose gonna live with her and her family for quite a long time. :)

I also love the friendship of Harper and Olive, its really great to have a bestfriend where you two treat each other like sisters.

And then Duke and Harper, Well you know maybe they kinda have struggle at first but then everything went smooth as the story goes on.

What I also love about Duke is when he's taking care of Harper and he's little ways to annoyed her.

Its a quick read for like it consists of 26 chapters on wattpad? Well not so sure about that but yes its really a good book to read. Plus the cover is gorgeous! :D

This was one of the better books I have read on Wattpad! The plot itself is pretty simple and lends itself to be expanded on throughout the book. The main characters weren't one dimensional, which is my main problem when reading books on Wattpad. Though I would love to have certain things fleshed out, especially the minor characters, this book was a lot of fun. If you new or old to Wattpad, I would recommend this!

A short & cute story. But, Duke is unbearable! At their very first encounter he said " you and I both know that we"re going to end up in bed together " and I'm like wtf!!! If I was in Harper's place, I'm pretty much sure that I will kick him on his manhood and will took a Polaroid picture! Jerk aśš

Well I dont know if this counts as a book but it's a story and I guess that's enough for me.

I kind of like the plot just a tiny bit but overall it was meeeh. It was funny indeed and a light read. Definitly fanfiction type.
