Rhea is a sweet girl starting on her own with her rundown home (newly purchased) that's located next to the fire station. Calder knows just what she needs, and he is great at directing everyone into action. Beck is compassionate and keeps Rhea feeling loved. Ash is exciting and wild. Rhea has to pick one or somehow keep things from self-destructing. I enjoyed all the action in this high-heat reverse harem romance story.

A Fiery, Fun Reverse Harem Romance with Heart!

I picked up Firemen Next Door by Cassie Cole expecting a steamy, light-hearted firefighter romance… and that’s exactly what I got — with way more heart than I anticipated! Cassie’s writing draws you in immediately, mixing swoony characters, witty banter, and emotional depth. The small-town vibe and the firehouse setting give the story a cozy, “found family” feel that kept me turning pages well past my bedtime.
The flames aren’t just literal — the chemistry between the heroine and her three firefighter love interests is intense. Cole balances romantic tension, humor, and tender moments very well, and even when things get steamy (which they do 🔥), it never feels gratuitous — it serves the budding relationships. The characters feel distinct and fully realized, and their vulnerability — especially in scenes where they’re supporting each other through tough situations — made me genuinely care about the outcomes.
I also appreciated how Cassie wove emotional beats into the narrative. It’s more than just surface-level romance; there are moments of real growth and connection that boosted the overall story. The pacing is brisk, the dialogue is sharp, and the ending delivers the satisfying conclusion fans of reverse harem romance are looking for.

I really enjoyed this story. Her/their books are always great.
Not that I'd like to live next door to a firehouse but who wouldn't like to meet the three firemen in this story. It starts as a competition between them but why choose when you can have them all.

This was a good story that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. When Rhea moved Next Door to the fire station and her movers just dumped all her stuff out of the truck onto her front lawn, the three fireman Next Door came to her rescue. Calder, Ash and Beck were instantly attracted to Rhea and offered to move her stuff into her house and as payment they each wanted a date with her. Between an arsonist and all the hard work that she was doing, things move, progressively fast, until eventually Rhea‘s house was targeted, and the person who was closest to her, was discovered to be the arsonist. Her three men rallied around her, and were there to support her and protect her at all times, and moved forward to their own happily ever after.

Easy Read

Rhea moves to a new town, new home and comes to the attention of three firefighters. As they each try to win her affection Rhea finds herself faced with an impossible choice. Who should she choose? Does she have to choose? As the town faces a serial arsonist the stakes grow. Will Rhea get the chance to explore more with her suitors or will the arsonist take the chance away from her?
This was an easy read. It was just enough to keep you entertained and guessing, but short enough for a light read. I enjoyed the dynamic between the main characters. Each brought something different to the equation. The arsonist mystery was enjoyable without too much complexity. There was also plenty of spice between our main characters as well.

This was another great read by this author and I really enjoyed the ratio of plot and spice, making it a page turner for me. Rhea is new to town and has just bought the house next to the fire station. With some move-in day help from Calder, Ash and Beck, she starts going on dates with them, individually. The plan was for her to pick the 'winner' that could keep dating her. Ha! With three hot firemen being all the things to her, she couldn't choose ;P Expect to get caught up in this entertaining read filled with action, connection, humour and steamy romance as you follow Rhea to the HEA she deserves. Good fun!

Rhea has purchased her first house and moving in is a chore when the movers tell her she has to pay for them to move her boxes into the home separate from the transportation. That fiasco connects her with her three firefighter neighbors and their path begins. It is a thrilling story that has the quadruple all caught up in exploring their relationship and an arson who is getting closer to them. Will Rhea's three firemen be able to keep her safe.

Rhea buys the house next to the firehouse and three of the firemen help her when she is stranded by the movers. Ash, Calder and Beck are good guys, interested in the same women and are brothers through their shared careers. This is a fast paced book, the plot is not overly complicated, plenty of steam and generally likeable characters. With little to no back story, the characters were a bit thin and I found Rhea to be a bit immature.

Story was mostly from Rhea, the FMC’s pov but I absolutely loved the guys chapters.

Good story and perfect spice.

Rhea buys the house next to a firehouse and meets three of the firemen right away. Ash, Calder and Beck are good stand-up guys. They constantly were looking out for her.

This is a fast paced book and has steamy scenes. Was Rhea in danger of a serial arsonist in this quiet town?

I would have loved to have more back story on each of the guys.

Firemen Next Door is a sizzling hot romance, and just about every young woman's fantasy. When Rhea buys her first home she is not expecting to find three super sexy firemen living next door. There is Ash, Beck and Calder....the ABC's of fire safety is what I nicknamed this trio. The men all enjoy getting to know Rhea and then they like getting to know exactly what sets her on fire.

It’s Getting Hot In Here
Rhea has just bought her first house - across the street is the fire hall, where Calder, Ash and Beck work. This story had a great blend of wholesome neighbourliness, underlying intrigue and red-hot action. I enjoyed how they guys tried to one-up each other in their dates with Rhea, but that they still remained a team. A solid read.

no depth

I wanted to like this book but it was just so…flat. Problems are easily solved. Conflict disappears. Everyone is happy. Which is great if it’s supposed to have a cozy vibe but the story is billed as suspenseful with a whole distracting arsonist subplot.

This was a definite page turner with amazing characters. She just wanted to start over with this new house and keep her head down. What she never saw coming with the fine print in the delivery contract... When they all met the chemistry was instant. The threats the town is facing are unthinkable and no one knows who's doing it. I would love to see what happens next for them.
