I have been looking forward to this book and I loved it! Grace travels from America to the UK to talk to the Dashworths and tell them about the circumstances around Sebastian’s death. When you’ve read the previous books this is a mystery that has been keeping everyone wondering what happened and in this book we get all the answers. It is also the story of Tobias, the Duke of Glanmore, the last of the brothers.
It truly is a lovely and romantic story where both characters slowly but honestly grow closer. Grace is definitely the best match for Tobias. She’s outspoken, courageous, honest, loving and loyal. And she challenges Tobias in a way nobody else has, which is good because since everybody’s looking up to him as the Duke. Tobias sometimes has difficulty expressing himself and that only adds to the distance between him as duke and other people, which makes him feel quite lonely. Grace is nothing like that; she speaks her mind and just talks to him like a human being, despite his title. This helps him do the same because there isn’t an expectation like in other situations. I have to admit that I was surprised to see Tobias talking so much; I hadn’t expected it but I was glad to see that.
I liked their easy banter and the fun they had together (gold vase). There’s so much fun in this book. And I loved Tobias opening up and learning to see his value beyond the title and the expectations.
The lovestory is endearing, lovely and honest, the banter between them was great, as were the other brothers Edward, Freddie and Christopher. We didn’t get to see much of their wives which was a pity, but the pace of the book is good.
I loved Charlotte telling Tobias that her new friend has the same name as he does: “Grace and Grace” because he’s of course called ‘Your Grace’.
I am sad the series had ended but everything is wrapped up perfectly and there is a proper ending to not only this book but also this series. Again this book can be read as a standalone but i am grateful I got to read each book; I loved every single one. If you haven’t read the previous books I can honestly recommend each book; they have great fun, camaraderie and banter in common but each is about a different brother with beautiful qualities who in a way has to find himself and gets there with the help of the right woman for him. It is a beautiful series and I loved everything about it.
I read that there will be another series about the Beauvarlet family, which I am definitely going to check out!

I have loved and enjoyed every one of the books in this series and was delighted to be able to read Tobias Dashworth’s story. Tobias is the Duke of Glanmore and to those who don’t know him well he comes across as stern and unapproachable. Then along comes American widow Grace who it turns out is responsible for bringing Sebastian’s daughter and the Dashworth brothers much loved niece Charlotte to England. They meet in unlikely circumstances but there is immediately an attraction. However much she is attracted to him Grace has vowed never to marry again. Tobias isn’t particularly looking for a bride, especially when most of the eligible young ladies only see his status, wealth and the thought of becoming a Duchess the main reasons to wed him. When Grace eventually speaks about her past and the events leading up to Sebastian’s death to the family she is unsure how they will react……… The way the relationship between Tobias and Grace develops is slow but intense. I liked how Ella addressed Tobias’s speaking issues by weaving the difficulties he found throughout. The Dashworth Family, how the characters are portrayed and their interactions are just one of the things I’ve loved about this series. Drama, romance, family dynamics and just enough spice make this a great read. Thank you so so much to Ella for the opportunity to read this.

The finale I have been waiting for!
At last we meet Grace, the person who brought niece Charlotte from the Americas to the Dashworths at the beginning of this series. Loved the taciturn Tobias as the head of his lovely family, and the spectacle of him falling head over heels in love with the indomitable Grace. I devoured this book in one sitting.
Five stars.
