Alphas Divided Serial #Parts 1-3

Alphas Divided: The Complete Series

Rate this book
The Complete New Adult Paranormal Romance Series, Parts 1, 2 & 3

Part One

Emma is a typical cop's daughter, who is very rarely held accountable for her actions, until the day she gets caught shop lifting with her best friend and partner in crime, Kate. Desperate to turn the girls back towards the straight and narrow path, their fathers send them to live with Emma's deceased mother's "people."

Emma is first shocked to learn that her mother has "people," and then she is even more surprised to learn those people... aren't completely human.

Thomas is the aging Alpha of a hidden werewolf pack, whose two sons, the mysterious Elam and the dark and sexy Galen, soon find themselves enamored of the two new women, vying for the position of Alpha, and starting to uncover the secret of Emma's mother's past.

Part Two

In the days following the Alpha challenge, nerves are shot, feelings are raw, and Emma finds herself in the middle of her first 'heat.'

Deciding between letting Elam guard her or claim her becomes the least of her problems as the pack's respected Alpha dies, leaving a pack divided against tradition, brothers in competition, a friendship torn, and changes from within that Emma never saw coming.

Part Three

Emma wakes up, after being attacked, to find not only her life in jeopardy, but Kate's as well. As their mates try to find them, hidden pasts are revealed, secrets are unearthed, and lives are in danger. The respected will fall, the honored will be exposed, and the truth will come out.

All of it.

Very good book

This was a really good book to read. I got lost in it, and was quite disappointed when I found it was over. This is a book I would recommend to anyone who likes shifter books.

It was ok 2.5'to 3 stars.

I'm on holiday at the moment and found this on my kindle and decided a shifter romance would be a nice easy read, I couldn't remember any details but the fact that it was on my kindle meant I must have liked the synopsis at some point.
This is the complete series it's 216 pages long and comprises of parts 1, 2 and 3, I'm not sure exactly where the 216 pages come from since the books are 62, 58 and 49 pages respectively, but anyway.

Part 1:

Emma and her best friend Kate think they have everyone fooled, they have far too much time and far too little parental supervision and they're running a little wild, matters come to a head and the girls are given a choice, live with Emma's deceased mother's family for a year or face the consequences of their actions.
The girls are in for a few surprises where Emma's family and friends are concerned, how long will it take them to adapt, if indeed they adapt at all.

Part 2:

Emma's body is changing and the more time she spends around Elam and the pack the more she changes, she also has to decide if Elam is her mate and if she'll really be able to walk away when her year is up.
Not everything is running smoothly, the alpha challenge has divided the pack and Ziva is a thorn in Emma's side.
I'm not one to get hung up on editing mistakes as a rule but this book had so many it was difficult to read and when the wrong name is used in the wrong place it's just confusing, I know just about all the reviews for this book are really good but I couldn't see that it had anything new and due to the mistakes it wasn't a smooth read.

Part 3:

In this the final book all the secrets and lies are exposed but first Emma's life is in danger and she not only has to save herself but her best friend Kate as well.
My main problem with this series, apart from the atrocious editing is that I already knew or had guessed all the secrets so this turned out to be a bit of a anticlimax in the end, everything went exactly as expected and I was left feeling a bit cheated really.

With a few flaws it was an easy read. I see the passion in each page. So many feelings at once.

I love these series of hot, sexy shifter love stories

I love J. M. Klaire books. They are hot, sexy, stories of finding your true mate. The way the characters interact with family, friends & other people who come into lives is important to the plot & stories. Love that both Galen & Kate find true love & the love story of Emma & Elam.

Alphas Divided: The Complete Series is an absorbing paranormal erotic romance featuring wolf shifters.

Partners in crime, Emma and Kate have finally gone too far. Having been caught shoplifting in a county where their fathers have little sway, Emma and Kate are given an ultimatum. They can take their chances with the local law and get criminal records, or they can each spend a year bettering themselves. Kate's preacher father wants her to join him and her mother doing missionary work in Africa. Emma's sheriff father has decided it's time for her to learn more about her deceased mother by living in the wilderness with her mother's "people." After a lot of whining, both girls are sent up into the mountains with Emma's mysterious relatives. What they discover changes their lives forever.

The story primarily focuses on Emma learning why her werewolf mother left "her people" and decided to live a more human existence -- all the while fighting her intense attraction to the Alpha's adopted son, Elam. Kate, however, immediately succumbs to the Alpha's other son and would-be heir, Galen. Finding themselves on opposite sides of a leadership struggle, will Emma and Kate be able to preserve their friendship?

Alphas Divided is an engrossing story that I couldn't put down once I started reading it. It is an intriguing tale full of twists and turns, very erotic, and suspenseful. I greatly appreciated that the whole story was put together in one book. Frankly, I couldn't tell where the breaks in the separate installments would have occurred.

At first, Emma and Kate seemed like a couple of spoiled brats, but they quickly grew on me -- especially Emma -- as the story unfolded and they developed as characters. The sexual tension and chemistry between Emma and Elam, and Kate and Galen, is incredibly hot.

All the sex between the couples occurs in human form -- something that seems to be the case with most published shifter erotic romances. While it's still very erotic, I think it loses some of the exotic nature of human/shifter sex if the shifter isn't at least partially transformed. And call me kinky, but there's something incredibly arousing about a male wolf shifter pinning and then biting his mate to form their bond.

Ultimately, Alphas Divided is a very enjoyable and satisfying read.

I read the first part of this series in a collection and had to stop and find the rest of this series because i loved it so much. Boy was I glad it was already complete and in one set. Emma and Kate have been shoplifting all over town. Their dads are the sheriff and pastor and they have been paying off all the stores until they are fed up with it, Emma;s dad decides to send her to live with her mom's family in the mountains. Kate;s family is taking her on a mission trip. It ends up both girls go to Emma's mom's parents. WELL, No one has told Emma that her mother was a shifter and she must learn to adapt to the ways of the pack.

Kate finds her mate very quickly and moves in with him. Emma is attracted to the adopted son. There is a lot of inter fighting created by the wife of the Alpha. This is a really good book and shows yet again another side of shifters and how things could be. It is a really good read. Five Stars for sure!

Wow a good sexy action-filled love story. Emma is a cop's daughter; her mother is dead. Her best friend Kate is a Preacher's kid and they are a couple of little terrors who keep shop-lifting for fun and excitement. Finally Emma's dad sends her to live with her mother's people and Kate goes with her. They are shocked to find out that the people are were-wolves as was Emma's mother. Kate falls for Galen and mates with him. Emma is falling for Elam, but is scared of all the things going on within her and around her.
Galen is expected to take over a Alpha when his father Thomas dies, but there is a surprise in store for all. His mother Ziva is angry and mad (as in crazy) about Elam becoming the Alpha and about Emma being with the pack. The reasons for Ziva's feelings and actions are revealed when she attacks Emma and Kate. Emma defends Kate and Ziva is killed. There is a HEA for both Emma and Kate.

Emma and Kate have been friends for years, they finally go to far and get caught shop lifting. Their parents give them a choice, live with a criminal record, or spend a year with Emma's relatives. The girls choose to go live with the family that Emma didn't know existed. Their next shock is finding out that they will be living with a pack of wolf shifters. Unfortunately, there is someone in the pack that doesn't want Emma there, and would like to see her dead. This book is full of surprising twists and suspense, I didn't want to put it down. Loved this series!

Interesting Read

It wasn't what I expected when I started to read it, but after the first few chapters it started going and I really got into it. Sometimes I wish the love goes a little slower, but when a wolf wants something it seems to know right away. Perfect blend of love and hate and it comes with an ending you never expected. Love it!!!

This series will definitely keep you turning the page. I am not much for the whole cliffhangers but having purchased this as a box complete set was worth it. Drama, suspense and good old fashioned jealousy. Not to mention the mating.

Pretty Dam Good

Another good story about shifters. I'm glad Jamie wrote a book that has love and characters that you can relate to. I thought the story was going to be corny, but it was very believable and entertaining. Well worth the cost.
